Hey this game's simple and great. The art and sfx are good, and I agree with others the limitation of movement was good for it.

Simple and addicting. I loved the limitation on the movement.

Really simple but addicting game! Limiting the player movement made for some interesting game play since you have to use the mouse to control where to walk and look. Nice work!

Developer(+2)

Thank you!

Nice game! It was interesting to use the mouse to change direction. This way, you have to look where you want to go, so you cant see the rocks and have to plan where you move, when, where are the next rock.

Funny game, nice job and keep creating games!

Thanks! I was a little hesitant to not allow strafing but I think it added a little more challenge to the game and made it more unique. Thanks for your comment! I'll definitely keep creating games! Nice job on your game!

I was getting overtaken by the lava very quickly, but overall a pretty cool concept and good execution. Not at all the graphics I was expecting based on the description haha but I was surprised and intrigued. Great job!

Developer(+1)

Yeah I guess this takes place well after Sisyphus' time. To gain distance from the lava, try to turn as smoothly as possible and move in a straight line as much as you can; It moves a little slower than the player. Thanks for your feedback!

Enjoyed the game a lot.

I liked the game a lot however I am not a fan of the speed powerup. It made me a bit dizzy when navigating around the boulders with the speed boost. Maybe if you tweaked that or replaced it with a shooting mechanic where you could shoot a shot per shot powerup to destroy a boulder instead of the speed boost? I don't know why but I really wanted to break the boulders coming at me. GG

Developer(+1)

Great idea Yuneek, that would be a cool mechanic! Thanks for your feedback!

No problem!

Music is good and the visuals are too. Simple but fun. Good game!

Quite simple but oh so fun! I really liked the effect when the lava catches up to you. Like
nickolasbanducci said this game would work great in VR. Cool entry :) Congrats!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing my game! It was my first time making an effect like that and I'm glad you liked it!

Very nice. Atmosphere was spot on. Gloomy, vaporwave? The mechanic was simple but satisfying. Loved the rumble of the boulders and the music was good although it got very repetitive when I went for a proper highscore. Good work.

Developer(+2)

Thanks for your valuable feedback! I'll work on making the music less repetitive or maybe having multiple tracks. You're right, I was inspired by the vaporwave style.  What was your highscore?

Submitted(+1)

481. Next game I make will be vaporwave I've decided :D

Thinking about what this game would be like in VR is both exciting and unnerving! Lol, I really like the mix of vector graphics with the 1st person 3D perspective. The gameplay was really easy to pick up, too.

The music/sounds got a little repetitive though, and I died almost immediately after getting a power-up. It might need a bit of balancing, unless it was meant to be an obstacle!

Developer(+2)

Hi Nickolas, thanks for your feedback! I'll definitely work on improving the sound effects and the music. I'll also make sure the speed power up is balanced. I'm also thinking about adding other power ups. Good idea, the game would be cool in VR. Thanks for playing!
