This game was so charming and the art was excellent it really raised the bar of the experience!

The sound was well done and the music although repetitive at the end was charming, would have liked more.

The puzzles were entertaining, although I was dumb and made the girl in blue carry the lamp, so I had no idea how to solve the puzzles cause I thought only the blue girl activated the sensors hahah, later I restarted and then gave it to the red girl and whoa the game got way easier.

Final thoughts, had a lot of fun playing it and I would love to see more :3

This game is cute and has some interesting mechanics! Loved the rabbits going crazy only in the darkness. Wish there was some music or ambience, it would really further the spooky tone. This has potential, nice job!

Developer

Oh, there actually is music! Maybe your volume was too low? It starts playing after your exit the lantern room.

I really like it! The art style is very appealing too.

I love swapping mechanics and would love to keep playing but maybe I'm just terminally bad at puzzles -- I seem to be met by Locked: ??? doors everywhere and only managed to collect one Object. The basement especially I can't figure out what the floorswitch does and even leaving one party member on it, I'm trapped between two ??? doors. Am I missing something obvious?

Developer

Thanks for giving the game a shot! The basement puzzle is a little tricky haha. If you were trapped in between the doors, then it seems like you were pretty close to solving it. The first locked door is unlocked by the light sensor and second door is opened by the floor switch. The character you had on the floor switch might've been pushed off by an enemy unless they had the lantern with them.

Submitted

Ah okay thanks, I didn't realize there was such a thing as a light sensor haha

Developer

Yeah I guess I didn't convey it too well in the first room but it was the red/green light object

Submitted

ahhh, there we go -- I'm red/green colorblind

Developer

Ohh, that makes sense. I'll be sure to make some adjustments after the jam should you want to check it out again.

Decent little title!

This sets a nice atmosphere and I enjoy the billboard style! The puzzles are creative as well, especially those adorable bunnies that would never harm a fly!

Overall, I really have no complaints! Flush this out more and I feel you got a full-fledge title! Good job!

Very cool game, great art style, and nice music. Maybe I'm just not good with puzzle stuff, I hope there more guides in the game.

This game looked and felt very polished, and was fun to play. The mechanics were very simple, but led to quite interesting puzzles, with lots of potential for even longer, more difficult puzzles if you ever wanted to expand the game further. The sound was handled very well, and the graphics were cute. Good job :D

Very nice game, feels relatively complete. I just wish the puzzles were a bit more complex because I think the mechanics provide a lot of possibilities. Also wish the red one had an ability, since only the blue one could swim. Overall great work!

A cute game! Two characters are both adorable. I like the design of switching characters, and the different characteristics they have :D

However the environment is so dark that even if with the lamps on, I still can not find some doors. :(

Glad you liked the characters! Sorry about the lighting though. I'll add some extra lights after the jam if you're still willing to check it out by then.

Oh that's great! I will!

Very well executed! I really appreciate the graphical style, the music was really strong, and the puzzles were very stimulating to solve.

Very nice! Really enjoyed the art style and game mechanics, would love to see more puzzles/situations involving the strengths and weaknesses of the characters in the future!

However, I don't see a purpose in requiring the user to press Tab to show their health. Also, I played the Windows version and the controls were not in the game. I had to check the game's page to see the controls.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Showing health is completely optional; it was hidden so that it didn't potentially block anything. Some of the controls are explained early on in the game, though in hindsight I should've explained some of the basic ones for movement and clicking too.

nice game :) I really like the graphics and the 2.5 style. The game mechanics also works very nice, took me a moment to realize that you can place the lantern to trigger the platform. I ain't managed to open the door in the basement even while one character was standing on the platform?

Developer

Thanks for playing! The basement puzzle has two mechanisms, you might've missed a part.

I remember the last game when I saw the "Pengu" subtitle. I enjoyed the last game as well as this one. Neat and simple puzzles, I think you guys nailed that. As always I love the adorable graphics, clear dialogue, cast of characters and great mechanics. Good job!

Haha, good to see a fellow participant from last year's scream jam! Thanks for the feedback!

This game has plenty of potencial, the art is very cute indeed, indeed when a map is really big it ends up lookin quite empty but i know the struggle of making it feel alive myself since i also did a 2.5 D , either way with some heavy story this game can be something even nicer.

Good combination of 2D with 3D! I like the RPG Pixelart style :)

Pretty spooky game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The sound effects were all great, especially the bunny's. The art style was very cute, I do hope to see more from you two!
