- Incredibly well-polished experience that leverages the genre of the OS simulator and pairs it with horror. I like that it was a focused game and it didn't obsess over the distractions that OS simulators usually have. Purely narrative based but with a few minigames and puzzles to keep the player interested and engaged. The game is a well-realized project from a team effort and achieves exactly what it sets out to do. Great stuff!

Wow, you had me invested! Loved the atmosphere and the story! My only issue was that I clicked again to open the vault at the end and I think I kinda missed the ending. But other than that it was awesome! Keep it up! <3
I just checked what happens when you open the vault twice, and you didn't really miss out on anything, since you still see the ending. You just had to wait a bit longer.
Glad you enjoyed the game!
The sound design was simply amazing. the clicking and the clacking of the keyboard, the rain.... ouf. it felt nice and relaxing for a little bit.

Really great job, happy to have played through it!
Very cool idea, I liked the minigames in between aswell
Very cool Game. I by mistake started opening vault again after so if there was something else on the pc after I missed it :( but good game gave me some frights.

Very high quality game, I usually comment things that need to be improved as constructive feedback, but I think this game works very well and achieves its purpose. I love the retro theme, the alien invasion, it all feels very cozy and nostalgic.
Really interesting and well executed game! Amazing for a jam entry!
I realy liked how you did WaveOS that is working realy well. Love the atmosphere in the game and its only me or did you also feel that someone staying behind you the whole game?
Visuals and aesthetics are absolute god tier, love playing around with the os and looking for any secrets. Would love to see this idea fully fleshed out into a 'Welcome to the game' type of experience
I loved your game! Really cool idea, aesthetics and execution. Loved the early net vibes and it goes really well with the horror style. One small bug though, when I opened the vault in my first playthrough I accidently clicked on "Open Vault" a second time, this completely broke the game.
Wow really great! The OS interactivity is so well done and many subtle details, and an enjoyable story. Well done!
At least they were polite xD Hahah.
Jokes aside, (again) your game is good as hell! Visuals are just on point for the aesthetic and while the puzzles are straight forward the additional small minigames made it into an active play through (played it twice just to be sure I didn't miss anything). And are top notch, really loved the pics you can find! But let's be real, the sound design here is highlight. Clicks and clacks, the rain and other ambience, just perfect mood. I doubt I need to repeat myself too much, good work, I only wished I could play more! :D And that notepad worked like the other windows in the computer hehe.
As a after though, some bugs I'm sure someone else might also note: I had a problem quitting the game after the ending, and going back to watch horror movies will cause the "Interweb" application to be stuck (as well as repeating the sound effects from the first time). But none of those hindered my experience ^^
The best submit for me so far. The sounds, the visuals, the intuition in it. Well done, guys! Loved the mini games in is, I wanted to play with it more. GG!
Holy fuck that was good. I am biased towards anything that is this kind of nostalgic old (applies to music as well! I love old synths and sound chips) though, just be aware.
Some feedback then:
The aesthetic is WHAAAA levels of good. God damn. It's perfectly noisy, the screen is a lil wonky and the clicks are pure love <3<3. Now I'm not too fond of the hacking minigames, they feel a bit thrown in with the rest of the chill clicking around. I would have liked to click around more in the computer, have more files to play with and just in general get to interact more with the computer, and I feel like (opinion incoming) time could have been spent on deepening that instead of adding the minigames.
Overall though, this was super charming to play. Fantastic work!
Also cat <3. Also the encounter pics are great. Also I want to marry the startup sound.
Thank you for the kind word!
And Yeah, The hacking minigames where thrown in last minute since some of the play testers said it needed more gameplay.
Glad you enjoyed the game!
Smooth gameplay, sick minigames, and very cool puzzles. The subtle scares were nice too. Think the reveal of it being an alien was a bit abrupt but alas the game is short. Was excited for this from the Discord and it didn't disappoint. Amazing stuff.
A little difficult at times but a cool game that was actually really creepy. Found the private cat lol
Great visuals and sound. Great idea, it would be great to work on some minor simplifications for players.
I love the old Windows art style of the game and the sounds and graphics when bad stuff happens. Got a little lost with the story.
