Cool and unique idea. Never seen a rhythm horror before, though there didn't seem to be any music when i played. Guessing thats a bug?

someone else had a similar problem with their monitor at 170 hz but turning it down to 60 hz fixed the problem so maybe it’s the same thing with you :/

I just realized this bug only occurs when my monitor is at 170Hz, I remember some one else's game had a similar issue so I tuned it down. I turned my monitor down to 60Hz and it fixed the bug, but basically sometimes I collected a folder and no sound was played and the counter didn't go down.
