wow scariest game so far! Also you get the award for the best mouse cursor icon

Funny concept. Enjoyable voice acting. It felt a little cumbersome to play but I did have fun hurling movies to defend myself. Nice doses of humor and funny relation to the jam theme. Definitely a lot of potential things you could do but it's a solid foundation. Nice work!

The voice is really creepy and fits in the game. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

Creepy voice acting! And good wit in the text. Moving around has a bit difficult though (I kept dying so fast xD)
The DVD throwing at the monster was pretty funny, the rest bone-chilling.

the monster's voice was pretty creepy, and the dialog used added to the effect. was a bit hard t navigate

Great concept! I like the atmosphere of the game. Would like to see this expanded!

The voice acting is pretty decent for the monster. The monster itself is very uncanny I  love it ! I think if the level was shrouded in darkness and the play had a light source like a flash light to review the monster, it would very chilling!! Hope you will be able to finish this game!

Thank you for your feedback ! I'm glad that you like my voice acting

A quick fix update has been made because the lighting should have been way darker with a flickering light (simulating a movie projection) in the room. It's better now. Voices are still not working on the WebGL version though.

Love the humor with the dialogue and the set up of the game. Very cool concept, would love to see more. Also wish it had more to do with screens.

Also love when the monster reveals and the chase starts! Quite fun!

Thank you so much for your feedback ! :D

Glad the humor hit right eheh. As it is only a draft we couldn't make sure that the screen related theme was very present but I can assure you that the whole story of the game is written around the screen ;) (Stay tuned)

I ran into a bug with the audio. The first playthrough didn't have any until I was moving and could hear footsteps then on the subsequent runs the narrator was reading the wrong lines that were on screen. For a first game though it's to be expected to have some issues especially if its under a game jam deadline. Keep up the work. As a positive I like the creatures design.

This is a cool proof of concept! I like how the three-dimensional space pops out with the parallax effect. The patterns of seats in the cinema make for an interesting setting. Not quite knowing what the big slithery monster was, and setting some dialog around its movie-obsessed coercion of the player made the game nicely stranger and more surrealistic. There's plenty of opportunities to keep fleshing out the game, including figuring out collision, a gameplay loop and a use for the shooter mechanics. Can't wait to see the full game!

Thanks for being a part of the Scream TV jam!

Thank you very much!

We're so pleased that you liked our concept. For a first try in game development for some of us and as a team we're thrilled to have managed to finish this on time for the game jam.

Thanks again for this cool jam!
