Interesting idea, being forced into a bloodsport, but also having to appease a bunch of rabid viewers. Feels very inspired.

Would be interested in trying out a full version!

I liked the look of the game, but I didn’t understand how to use some of the tools

Developer

We're glad you enjoyed how our game looks and we also apologize for the gameplay being unclear. We'll be updating the game soon with more functionality and hope you'll give it another try then!

Really cool idea. Vrey unique and the game looks great as well. Gave it a five star rating would be great if you did the same :)

Very cool concept. Love how the game looks 10/10. Really like the game mechanics set up with the die roll and audience engagement, and different tools to hinder the opponent. Could even be a fun and unsettling multiplayer turn-based game.

I couldn’t progress past chopping my own finger off, so I imagine it’s not finished yet but I hope you can complete it some day!

I love the concept, the art.  I like the chat scrolling in the background.  This reminds of Rollerball or DeathRace only considerably darker.  I could take 1 turn but when the NPC went nothing happened.  I restarted several times and the items in the middle changed.  A couple of times I couldn't take a turn.  I wasn't given the option for confirming my move.  When I did roll I couldn't tell what I rolled so I had to randomly click around.

Thank you :D We do apologize that the gameplay is unclear, the team and I ran out of time during the jam to fully implement the gameplay loop. We are looking to finish the game soon with clearer action indicators during the player's turn.

I think this is a really cool concept but I really couldn't figure out how to play properly.  Nothing seemed to progress then I think by accident I  managed to cut a finger off. Its a shame its unclear because I think this has real potential.

Thank you! The team and I weren't able to finish the gameplay loop during the jam, but we're looking to release another build soon with fuller functionality and clearer indicators of what the player can do during their turn.

Cool visuals, off the bat! I was instantly taken in by the aesthetic. However, after a number of restarts, I still couldn't figure out how to progress in the game. The furthest I managed to get was cutting off my own finger, and then waiting for my opponent's turn, which seemed to never end. Whenever a dice was rolled, I never saw any indication of what was rolled, so I wasn't quite sure what to do.

Really hope you all come back and flesh this one out, because it's got a striking visual style!

Thank you so much! Unfortunately, the team and I weren't able to fully complete the gameplay loop, but we're looking to release another build after the jam is done that's closer to what we visualized the final product to be. We'll definitely be looking into adding highlights around objects or text to indicate each actionable step in a turn, making the gameplay more clear.
