Was interesting to figure out how to move. Also the music was very fitting

thanks for playing! I had a blast playing your submission ☄️😁

Very interesting take on the golfing genre, felt almost more like a puzzle game than a golfing game. The art style feels nice and clean and the audio fit really well. Overall a very polished entry!

Thanks so much for giving it a go! With all the putt putt mini games out there already, I wanted to try something a little different, and a bit more relaxing ( unlike mini golf sometimes lol )

When I fell down a hole and an encouraging message popped up, I was half expected to hear a voice over by Bennett Foddy lol.

Really nice game. The music and the color palette and the inspirational quotes all add up to a super cozy experience. Nice job!

(Also I'm really bad at this. I think my final score was well in the 100's...)

I really hope my game is nowhere near as rip-out-your-hair frustrating as getting over it is haha.. As gamers we’re encouraged to get the highest score possible, so I must say you did exceptionally well in that regard 😂 Thank you for playing through!

Awesome game you created there! I liked the strategy choice you were able to implement into mini golf (taking the longer path vs risky path) :) I know you cannot restart a "level" in real golf, but I think here it would have been a nice feature (since I'm not very good at golf) :D Nice work!

Developer

thanks for playing! I totally agree with the restart, it was on the bucket list but I didn’t get to it with the time crunch 🥲. Maybe in a future version!

I was really pleasantly surprised by this game! I'm not usually a golf person, but somehow you made it fun and relaxing at the same time. The controls were great - very easy to use, with just enough limitation (only 4 directions) to make you think. And the sounds were just perfect - both the music and the sfx. Very enjoyable, great job!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for taking the time to try something outside your primary interests, and I’m so glad you enjoyed it! As a recreational golfer I can say from experience that golf is sometimes not so relaxing and other times it’s just infuriating lol. It was nice to contradict that for my own sanity 😂

so relaxing game! good job! especially like: music and messages + quote in the end

oh, and my score was 130 - not so good, i think😅😅😅

Developer(+1)

scores are just numbers, it’s all about the experience … and getting over 100 is impressive in its own way 😂 thank you for playing!

Great game, very relaxing and an interesting take on mini-golf games. Nice work!

HOLY COW! What an amazing game! It's so incredibly polished and beautiful. It really reminded me of those old flash puzzle games. I guess the only criticism I can give is that it is a little easy to cheese by just ramming the ball against the wall and you can go almost the entire hole sometimes.

Developer

So you have found the secret sauce to getting birdies huh? Well done haha and thanks for playing!

I could play this for  a while lol, nice! It took a minute to get a hold of the controls, it was a little strange, but I enjoyed playing this, great game!

Developer

Thanks for taking the time to play! I showed my partner your game the other day and my god was it fun. 4 thumbs up from us!

Thank you!

This game is really chill, I couldn't stop playing!

Developer

thanks for taking the time to play! The music I found was so perfect for creating that near meditative vibe… imagine if I had switched to some heavy metal for the last few holes 😂

I like the gameplay it took me few minutes to finish the first level tough :D

Developer

you know what they say, the first step is always the hardest lol 😂. Also it doesn’t help that my UI and tutorial is trash especially compared to most of the entries here. Thanks for playing, hope you had fun!

It took me bit time to figure out the movement, and maybe a short delay before the movement happens would make it more smooth without stoping etc :D

Pretty satisfying gameplay! A suggestion, Clicking to move the ball doesnt feel like a shot, its like you dragging it. You could have implemented a bar for shot strength and when you press the shot button the bar will increase and releasing the button will shot the ball with the strength of the bar at the time of release. This will make it more fun and will also feel like golf. The game concept is pretty good.

Developer(+1)

thanks for the suggestion! I totally agree, I was at conflict with myself as to whether or I should’ve done just that. Ultimately I settled on the continuous movement because I wanted it to feel less like you’re a player hitting the ball and more like you ARE the ball on a journey to find home. It certainly would have been a bit more challenging (and possibly more interesting) with a power bar and shooting mechanic. Thanks so much for playing!

It's really beautiful, the music and graphics are simple and fit perfectly the aesthetic. With some of the later levels, and especially the last one, it was funny to see how complex it became, it feels like the game has a sense of humor. The controls are spot on, too. Not stopping immediatlely after releasing the button felt like golf, and it made the precision that much harder. Amazing.

Also my final score was 19 :c I was doing so well before lmao

Developer

thanks so much for playing it through! If it makes you feel any better my best score is like 15 and I created the darn game 😂
