A good idea. The art style was nice, and so was the movement.
The enemies were a bit confusing. They were too fast and targeted you too accurately. As is shown in the screen shot below my post, it caused them to stack on each other, making it almost unplayable.
I was more trying to avoid them stacking onto me rather than trying to fight them.
An interesting concept! Moving downwards is quite original, and I liked the idea of having to search for chests to get items.
The only problems I had were falling off the side of the map and infinitely down - easily solved by adding borders around the map - and enemies tracking me too well, leading to the stack showing in the screenshot.
However, this was still fun to play, and the art looks great! Good job!
The movement system is very clean and quick which gives a nice feel to the game and the art style is great. I was a bit confused on what I was meant to do and trying to kill the enemies while they are the same speed as you is insanely hard.
Cool idea and some nice mechanics, I just have no idea how to complete it, the level was hard to follow, as far as I could tell I skipped part of it by running over something? The enemies would kind of fly around and sometimes get stuck under me too. Love the use of the chests with potions in though, really nice.
I like the concept of the game and its art style. The enemies will follow the player, which will enable the player to bounce on them.
Interesting concept, but there are a few flaws with this game. Firstly, the enemies go way too fast. Secondly, you can't attack below you, which means that if the enemy is below you, you'll never be able to hit them. Thirdly, if you die below a ceiling, you just get bounced between the enemies and the ceiling infinitely.
Regardless, this game felt pretty good. Great work to the developers!
So let me start out by saying i actually found this game really fun regardless of all the issues i found with it was still really fun to play. So issues wise the running animation was not playing, Enemy's move at the same speed as you so they can pile up underneath you causing you to bounce on them like a trampoline, Not sure how to open chests or defeat the enemy's, sometimes the character sprite would not turn round and sometimes the swing the shovel animation would get stuck in a loop, when i eventually fell off the map i didn't die or get a game over screen i just kept falling but once i had fallen way way way off the map the running animation started working. But as i said this was still a lot of fun to play and sound and artwork is good.
It is okay, I find there is a lack of narrative and direction. And im not really sure how you were suppose to kill the enemies either, they just seemed to be follow me and I could bounce of them.
But great art and great animating
There are a few problems to this game
The enemy tracking as previosly said is problematic since the enemies move way too fast and either u or the enemy become a trampoline for the other (Which is great to see btw)
Also there seems to be no set direction to this game, and at one point I got caught in a limitless fall.
On the other hand the shovel animation and the fact that there are accessible chests is a nice feature. Which is the same with the health bars.
As a whole, even with it's problems, this is definitely a good bit of fun to play, good job :)
Art style was interesting, i did have an issue with the tracking of enemy's, if you try to jump over them they just walk under you and you get stuck on top of them forever taking damage and bouncing. Also found that i was getting stuck in walls a lot due to the collission.
Overall a nice looking game.
