Really love the concept here, I will pay good money for a working version of this game. I love everything from the music and sound design to the sprites, art and level design.
I think the two states is such a fun and interesting mechanic which both challenges the player while they progress through each level and also I'm sure it challenged the devs as they endevoured to make enjoyable and increasingly difficult levels.
It has a very professional feel about it with the music and look of the game being fantastic. I must say that the only aspects of the game that need improving in its current state is the mechanics need a rework as switching seems to cause a dramatic stutter and other bugs, like clipping through walls and falling out the game world ahaha. Additionally a menu and options for the volume control is always a great finishing touch on any game. Given the scale of the project and the time frame I am absolutely shocked how well it actually works and the master coders behind this one deserve to congratulate themselves on how well they have done to get this far.
I'd love to see this game in a slightly more polished state so I can finish playing it. If this is unlikely to happen I wouldn't mind giving it a go myself in the future so let me know if that's something you'd consider.
So I got drawn in by the logo / profile pic which is gorgeous, and the game page which is very detailed and artistic so I HAD to play it. Absolutely beautiful art and animation. Great sfx and music, however could do with some when in "spirit world" as I found it kind of disorientating to go from music to nothing.
Like other people, I found it rather buggy when it came to the LMB and switching between modes. When I tried clicking LMB, it didn't work properly, it would flicker between the two and not stay. When I held LMB, it "worked" so I thought that was what I had to do but then it worked later when I just clicked. So when jumping in the air and onto platforms between modes I would regularly miss and fall because of this bug which would make me sad :(
However, this aside, it's a great game and I love the idea and art for it!
The concept is amazing and the art style is visually pleasing. The change between the spirit and the human was so clever but i did have some jumping issues from time to time but other than that it was fun to play
This a brilliant concept for a game. The switch between human and spirit game play adds a new dimension to the game. The art design for both the human and spirit worlds are amazing the game play is mostly solid, with one exception. Numerous times when transitioning between human and spirit midair, the two would glitch into the walls and through the floors, which lead to me falling endlessly. Also the ran very poorly for me, but that could have just been my computer. With the exception of the one bug, its a great game.
Thanks for the feedback! I've been seeing quite a lot of people struggling with performance of the game and it definitely wasn't something we caught in testing as we all tended to use more higher-end machines. I hope it wasn't too intense on your system and hope you enjoyed it nevertheless! :)
Definitely a cool concept.
The jumping was a bit strange, sometimes an olympic leap and sometimes barely lifted off a ground.
Honestly had to read the comment before I even realized that you can change into the spirit. And I immediately managed to get myself stuck in the crates :)
The switching mechanics between human and spirt is very cool and the music and overall look of the game is great. However the game ran very poorly for me which made it extremely difficult to get through some of the levels.
Gameplay is ok art style is good jump mechanic works a bit strangely. Music fit quite well moving platforms were a nice touch feel like maybe the character could have used a little more work. Animations were good.
The controls are sometimes a little iffy but it seemed to clear up by the second level.
I also couldn't get past the second level because it was too high for me to jump.EDIT: I didn't realise I could switch with the mouse, I'm such a fool.Great graphics, and the light/dark theme I thought was also cool.
Nice work!
The monster has an inbuilt double jump, so try jumping with the human and then switching midway to perform a second jump!
Hope that helps, thx for the feedback :)
Love the concept and aesthetic of this game, absolutely brilliant. Gameplay was a little difficult due to some lag between switching and it could do with some instructions. Otherwise a fantastic job

cool idea unfortunately the game is too clunky and seems to function the way it wants when it wants and the music cuts out when you change to the blue lizard thing and you can get a kind of double jump if you swap and hit space when your on the ground doubling your jump height
The stlye and idea of the game is amazing! I wish i understood the background of it a little more but over all very nice, good sound and animation too!
I like the puzzle game aspect implemented with the shape shifting allowing to use different obstacles, its a shame that I am terrible at these kinda games lol
As a whole though the controls, design and animations were on the most part smooth, with some small issues when shape-shifting but nothing major
And as mentioned sometimes the character can get caught on the walls but its not game breaking
And last thing last, on the second level i ran to the left and had an infinite fall, could this be blocked off?
Overall though, good game
A really cool concept and i love the puzzles involved in changing between forms. The art and music fits well and looks nice.
Did find a few clipping issues where i got stuck in walls or on the side of a platform but overall it was a fun game!
This is a great game the music and art make it relaxing and the controls are easy to use. I did find that the character would hover in the air next to platforms and I couldn't move until I let go of all the buttons and let the character fall, don't know if this is glitch or not.
