This game is really nice and chill. The art and the music work really well together to create a relaxing game. Though you can't really relax because of the time constraint of course :p

Hello, I tought about that a lot. The problem is that without the timer, it's just a bad walking simulator... Do you have some ideas how to make it more relaxing and still keep it entertaining?

Awesome Graphics! I have issue collecting the mushrooms, and I believe it because it's near the tree and I the game can't detect between the one collider and a trigger event

Thank you for your comment. I don't think, there is some problem with colliders. Maybe would help, If I made them slightly bigger...

This was very beautiful and nice use of the theme! It was fun searching for these flowers, almost a where is Waldo feeling, also very good use of the UI, compass and game borders.

A few notes that could have improved it, a few animations for the characters movement, also the camera was very all over the place making it a bit nauseating for me :D

Soooo satisfying and peaceful, loving the sounds/music and graphics! Well done !!! Also good job on adding the compass (Didn't get lost ;D) Would love to see a full game with more things to do with this style !

Very unique art style, I like it because it is very stylized. I did feel like the core gameplay loop was a little uninteresting though. Great job!

This was really fun! Took me a second to realize what I needed to do but the graphics are super charming and the background sounds are really relaxing. Very nice

The art is awesome Im missing animations and sfx but besides that I love the direction the game is going. I spent more time then I want to admit trying to prove to the stupid hag im a good collector

The art style is quite charming! The fantasy, coloring book style was what attracted me to this game in the first place.

Though the problem is that this game gets kind of boring after playing it for a while. Maybe you could add other tasks instead of just picking flowers?

I was quite worried about the game being boring, but at the end  I found it very entertaining. Have you some ideas how we can improve the game? What do you mean  by "other tasks"?

By other tasks I mean tasks like fixing the gingerbread house or fetching water for example. However, it’s up to you if you want to add these or not.

The art is great! it could use animations but other than that it looks great. The game is also very atmospheric, and its nice that it has a story element as well. Great work!  It would mean a lot if you could check out my Jam submission if you get the chance. Thanks!

I have to say, from what I picked up on, the fact that this game used procedural generation to create the environment was actually really impressive for a game jam. I've done procedural gen before, and I know how hard it can be to get the balance of different things to spawn right, so good on you guys!

Also the art style is absolutely charming. I personally would rather have had more sound effects over animation, just because I really like this style with everything seeming like it's coming from a drawing. The sound effects like a walking on grass sound or a  putting a plant in your "bag" would have added a bit more. Other than that though I really really loved the immersion of this game, especially with the nice calm soundtrack.

The last little bit that I can give just technical criticism on is that I  don't think that the camera's movement bounds are centered on the first day. Also I tried to get passed the second day for 20 minutes and couldn't collect all of them, because I was always one short! Other than those small issues though, this was a really fun game to play, and fit very well into the theme. I might come back to this game later to try it again.

Enviroment is actually geretated only partially. I palced manually spawning point around each type of tree and made one group of spawning point for medows. Then I placed the trees so everything is visible. Then there is "SpawnManager" where I set how many flowers and in how big groups each of the types should appear. This manager then keep's track of how many flowers were grabbed and respawns them each they on the random place.

Balancing is then done in quest generation - each ingredient has it's own weight. More balancing have to be done and also I would like to add dynamic difficulty, because I was able to finish the game in just 3 or 4 days regularly, and on the other end there were people, who could not finish the game at all.

Sound effect are planned to be added after the jam - there was not enough time. The camera isn't ideal either - I forgoted to set it properly after I changed the player model :(

i loved the concept of your guy's game. i thought the art was really cool and could tell there was a lot of variety. my one complaint was the lack of a walk animation. i know walk animations are hard but they really do make a difference. but i think the game was a really cool concept and i think it could be something really really cool! hope you guys continue to work on it!

Thank you for your rating. The character is actually ready to be animated, but there was not enough time to implement it. We plan to add character animation after the jam :)
