punched card programming, this is nostalgic and very very clever. Perhaps with a more serious (perhaps) interface, like the one on TIS-100, this could become a cool challenging punch card programming type of thing.
A neat puzzle game with a nice root in computer science history.
The goal of stopping the tipping machines fits the "on the edge" theme nicely.
I would have loved to see this get a splash of polish. Even just some clicks and clack when I punch in the instructions would add a nice bit of satisfaction.
Overall, great idea and nice mechanic. Well done!
Cool idea and the simple graphics are cute :)
Thank you for Playing! It's always interesting to see someone play the game instead of just reading comments. Thanks!
I really enjoy the puzzles, having to memorize the movement patterns is a refreshing take on the boss limitation. Could have used some sound, but I had fun regardless. Great work!
This game has the same problem my game has ... no in-game tutorial to set the player up for success.
But I pressed on and fiddled with the cards and controls and after that I discovered a delightful little puzzler. It was a blast to work out each stage and come up with an optimal solution. Though the art is minimal, I liked it a lot. I think a little more polish given to some sound design and different sfx when the robots take different actions would have made the moment-to-moment gameplay more engaging.
Overall, really clever idea and a great jam submission by a solo dev.
Maybe i cheesed it once i understood you could overcome gravity by spamming vertical inputs 🤭
Fun little puzzle game. Enjoyed the challenge.
GG!!!!!!!!!!!
I really love the concept of this game! Super fun! Great work! :D
Nice implementation of the theme! I love this concept, it's very unique. Would've loved to have the controls be a little transparent to gauge how much of each direction would be needed. But still had a really good time playing the game.
really liked the game loved the way you implemented the theme and requirement very well made game loved it good job!
I wish the programming screen is a bit transparent to see the map, also i hope it wouldn't erase all when I restart it. Even though it's a bit simple, I still liked this game and had a fun! Nice work!
This is pretty neat. I do wish there was more of a tutorial with limited things to do so that it can teach me, but overall I think it looks cute and is a nice puzzle game. Needs sound!
Really amazing idea, once I got the hang of it. Could have done with some music or sound, but the visuals were nice and it played well!
nice take on the theme
it took me some time understand what is the game about
Nice game ! plays well !
Little feedback : maybe had some transparency to the punch cards when you open them so you can still see the levels and don't have to toggle them too much.
Appart from that solid implementation ! good work :)
The Game Is Funky, The Controls Aren't That Great. That Game Idea Is Fun. I Like Playing The Game Even With Its Funky Controls. Good Idea And Work! Hope You Keep Making Games And Having Fun!
I like the concept, but for me the music and sounds would be a great addition and a little tutorial would be nice too. The graphics are really clean though!
It's a nice concept but it needs a bit more work to be really enjoyable.
Thanks for playing and for the feedback!
I completely agree with you. Generally it didn't turn out exactly how i wanted it to, I struggled getting the movement working at all and the time ran away. But I'm happy I could get something working at least.
Yes, that's the spirit! The more you do, the better you become right? :)
Absolutely, this is only my third ever game, so there is still much to learn :D
I definitely will do a bit of learning how to do sound next.
This game was pretty fun. I like how you have to make them move with the punch cards and that you have to have a good memory when filling out the punch cards. Nice work! the only downfall is that you don't have any sound to make it feel more like a game. I hope you keep at it and build more for everyone to enjoy.
Thanks for the nice comment. And yes I will definitely work on sound in the future.
