What a great entry! Theme and focus are prominently featured and the general concept is both intuitive and fun. Visuals are consistent and implementation is solid. There's very little I can even think of in terms of constructive feedback. A minor improvement might be having a mouse over animation for the UI.  That way it would be more obvious which elements on the screen can be interacted with. But overall, this is an excellent game.

Great puzzle game that manages to infuse both themes into the core gameplay. Difficulty curve felt good and steady introduction of mechanics was well done. One exception was level 3, which I ended up skipping, despite finishing the next 7-8 puzzles. Probably not a real difficulty problem, I'm just missing the key insight to solve the problem, could you give a hint?

Glad that you liked the game! - for level 3, the trick is to think ahead to your next move.

Got it!

Perfection. I loved the fast snail, puzzles felt great, tickled my brain, movement was excellent, puzzles great, palette - you nailed this.

Deserves a win as well.

Nice game. The puzzles had a very satisfying difficulty, too. Really enjoyed it :)

An excellent puzzle game! Really had to stop and think for some of those later levels. I can tell a lot of thought and work went into the level design 😄

The implementation of the theme was really nicely woven into the puzzle mechanics and design too. Having the checkpoints effectively transform the level layout based on how you move around, and having to plan ahead to cross back over your path is super cool.

I really appreciate the skip level button too, as I had to leave and come back, and was able to continue where I left off using that 😃

An undo button is only feedback suggestion I had in mind, and can see that's already been addressed in other comments.

Great submission!

Thanks! I’m really glad people saw the care and time I put into the level design.

Really cool, and very difficult game! I really enjoyed it! The one thing that would make it perfect would be an undo button! Also, even though the style is great, the 4 tone color scheme kinda makes objects difficult to parse in the later levels.

Developer(+1)

Yeah... an undo button was on my To-Do list. I never ended up getting to it though, but I'll for certain add it in a post-jam version if I make one.

Nice puzzles, however whatever the theme may be I seem to stumble upon games like these in any jams(That is not a bad thing tho, since yours is very polished). Nice polish, nice sound effects and art, good job!

Developer

Not sure what you mean about 'games like these' but I totally get what you're saying about the theme. Checkpoints was definitely my main concern, and they're definitely the most integral part of the game. 'Cross Paths' was 'semi-optional', so I semi-used it lol.

I meant the same mechanic, like in all the jams I have ever played I swear I played a game with almost the exactly same mechanic, it is a fun mechanic so i didnt mean anything bad

Developer

Whoops sorry if that came across as kinda rude or whatever, lol just gonna hope the level design and polish can set it apart from other games similar to it.
