I love the mechanic in this - you've made some really cool puzzles, keep working with this.

It works! I think that you could build an entire game like that!

Developer

Thankss. Maybe, after the jam is over, we will put more levels and improve the puzzles.

The Idea is great and the puzzles are pretty solid too.

Very cool submission!

what is there more to say than just a simple "Great game"?

Submitted

Oh my gosh! This is so epic! I see and hear so many great features! Lit visuals, fitting sounds, exciting gameplay, very simple to learn, so original and even fits in the topic!

Congratulations! My favourite game so far - I try to add a tip for every review, but there the only thing that comes to my mind is that you guys could add camera movement while making changes in the world.

Wish you all the best! In my opinion, it would be a good mobile and desktop game.

Great game! Really unique take on the theme, really clever.

The only input I have is maybe make a main menu?

Otherwise great job!

A truly amazing game , everything is on top , this is probably one of the best game i've played for the jam great job

It was very interesting! I enjoyed the mechanic alot! It felt super cool to just edit the game at whim, also was funny how you could activate it only by hurting yourself lol. It was a fun experience, I feel like this concept could be pushed even harder! Good job :D

5 stars all around; love the idea of exposing various parameters to the player; finding the in-game delivery of a glitched mushroom was really clever too!

great interpretation of the theme!

love the debugging or enable / disable feature screen :-)

All 5 man!

Developer

Wow. Thanks!

Great game with great visual!

I just love the "hack" screen where I change values! Great game overall!

Keep up the great work!

Developer

Thanks man, it means a lot.

Great idea and execution! Nice

Developer

Thanks!

Nice concept here, really like the idea of changing the game files through the error screen. Would have liked to see what I was changing but it seems you've heard that feedback from a few people already.

Developer

Yes, I totally agree, unfortunately we ended up forgetting that. We are planning to create a version with more feedback on the element being edited.

Submitted(+1)

Nice game. Wished it was more obvious what was being edited.

Developer (1 edit)

I totally agree with you, the feedback on the edited element was in our plans, but we ended up paying more attention to other areas and we totally forgot about it. We are planning to do an expanded version to fix this and add a few more levels just for fun. Thanks for the feedback :)

Nice game, at first I thought it was going to be a classic platformer but then, it started being pretty cool. The idea is amazing, also the art and the music is very nice. I would suggest having the camera show the whole room when you are in the "hack" state, cause sometimes i didnt know what i was moving. Its a great game, i would like to see more levels :D

Developer

Hey Stu, thanks for the feedback. We will probably create a new version with your suggestion implemented and add more levels [2 - 6]. I'll let you know.

The glitch effect is really cool. ^ ^ I wish you added full gamepad support to the game :( I find it difficult to play platformers with the keyboard.

Developer(+1)

True, Gamepad support would be awesome. In the next jam, I will try to remember that. Thanks for the feedback! :)

Submitted(+1)

Cool concept! You really have to learn as you go, since there isn't much of a tutorial. Wish I could have seen this more polished and fleshed out, but I like the idea a lot :)

Developer

Thanks!

Seeing under the hood of a game is a cool idea!  I got stuck at the spinning ladder way too long, didn't realize the thing to left wasn't just decoration haha.  Good job executing in a short time for the jam~ Please check out my browser game when you can

Developer

Haha, yes, maybe the spikes are too hidden. I will definitely check your game. Thanks for the feedback.
