I really like this idea. I won without failing, but I really appreciated the concept here.

Also, I love that you worked with your father on this. I hope I can work on a game with my kid someday.

Developer

thanks. Did you get all the clues?

Submitted(+1)

I think I only unlocked 2 clues, but the story was clear enough that I was able to diffuse the bomb and get a satisfying ending.

Developer

oh well done. You can find some lavender and also a gun in the level which unlocks new dialogue paths.

Submitted

Nice! I'll have to play it again! =)

Submitted(+1)

Also - congrats on the rankings!

Developer(+1)

thanks so much. I said to myself I'd be happy with top 25% but I was so happy to be that high.

Submitted(+1)

Really lovely game. I loved the android's backstory and the music; I can tell there was a lot of thought put into both. Also, finding the clues is a very good implementation of the theme. The only problem was the game was too short--you should definitely expand on this idea!

Developer

Thanks for the comment. Yes I think I will add more to it. It was quite ambitious and the programming of the all the possible outcomes took forever hence the length of the game. If you want to laugh at my struggles my devlog for creating it is on my itch page. LOL

This a really sweet game and the dialogue is very well written. This could be really great if you extended it to a full game.

Developer

Thanks, a few people have mentioned that and I think I will do, the problem is it takes so much time creating all the different dialogue paths.

Submitted(+1)

This is a really nice game! I love the music, art style, and gameplay! My only real nitpick was the slightly strange controls (with I, O and P) but overall, great game! Had fun!

Developer

thanks I picked I, I and p because they were easier to draw in pixel art 😅👍

Submitted(+1)

This game looks great, and I immediately felt immersed in the world. I'd honestly love to play as that little cop android for a few hours, if the dialogue was as good as that. Genuinely made me feel a bit emotional, the music certainly helped with that, you can tell him that it nearly brought me to tears. So much emotion in that playing.

Good game, great job! Please check out mine if you get a chance.

Developer

Wow thanks so much for the kind feedback,  I'm glad you felt connected to the story. I will definitely check your game out.

Submitted(+1)

This game is just so cool! congrats on making it and your dad is very talented! has some claire de lune vibes!

Great job!

Developer

thanks for checking it out. Never heard of claire de lune, will have to check it out.

Detroit become pixel, nice.

Developer

haha yep.

Submitted(+1)

I like your game, I finished on my second try at 101 seconds.. nice idea and atmosphere that you have created.. Good job

Developer

thanks for the comment. You you find all the clues?

Submitted(+1)

You see this is 5/5 stars. These sorta games should win the jam. That music and story!!! These really are your strong suit! The whole package draws you in and there is quite an atmosphere.

Just got 1 question. What software did you use to make this awsome music?

Developer(+1)

no software. It was just a keyboard. My dad is a musician and composed the music for me during the jam.

Submitted(+1)

He delivered!

Developer

I'll let him know, thanks.

Submitted(+1)

Really beautiful music, the gameplay is great - felt like playing detroit:become human.

This was a delight to play, the menu was cool also!

Only wished it was longer, but it's a jam so that's understandable.

The dialogue feels authentic too!

Well done!

Developer(+1)

aw thanks. It was as long as it possibly could be in the time I had. I had to even cut a few dialogue scenes. There was originally going to be a dialogue path were you get asked if you have a weapon and you can build trust.

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

Dangggggg what a great game. The 1 bit pixel art looks great but also just highlights the story. And you really got the story through with the dialogue. Everything felt so sharp and crisp, this game is just perfect!

Developer(+1)

amazing. what wonderful feedback! thank you for playing.

Rated! Fun idea by the way, I enjoyed to be detective!)

Please,check my game as well

Developer

Thanks, I already played your game and left a comment :)

Submitted(+1)

Really nicely made! The music was really chill and fit the game perfectly. I think this game showed just how bad of a negotiator I am though, but that won't affect your rating, just something I need to work on :). Anyways, nice job and well done!

Developer(+1)

aw thanks for playing and thanks for the comment.  Did you find all the clues?

Submitted(+1)

I was only able to find two the time I was able to defuse the bomb, the other time, the android blow it up...!

Developer(+1)

You can find a gun if you look around :)

Submitted(+1)

Oh shoot that's so creative. I found it... but now I only have three clues, I can't find the first one! And nothing happens when you jump in the hole...?

Developer(+1)

You lose one android if you jump. The last thing is in the first room next to the NPC

Submitted(+1)

Okay I'll check it out, thanks! Great game too btw!

Developer(+1)

thanks

Submitted(+1)

Very cool take on the topic! I did kinda only die once though :D

Developer(+1)

ah well done.  Did you jump in the hole?

Submitted(+1)

The first time I just ran in straight it exploded on my first thing I said without even thinking about it or understanding it. The second time I was more careful, asked about the owners and found out the password to later diffuse the bomb.

Developer(+1)

Ah good job. That's why I gave you 5 Androids :)

Submitted(+1)

OMG! I totally adore this game, great idea, and really impressive you managed to do all of this in a weekend :) great job!

Developer(+1)

thanks. The dialogue sequence took me forever.... if you want a laugh I made a devlog on it. It's the video on my page.

Great job! wow i definitely got Detroit Become Human vibes here! the art, the music, all so good. my score was 98 seconds

Developer(+1)

thanks. That's a great score. How many times did you die?

Submitted(+1)

I didn't die at all lol, i just love Interrogation games a lot so i felt at home here with this game

Developer(+1)

did you find all the clues?

Submitted(+1)

only 2

Submitted(+1)

This game is basically Detroit Became Human in 1 Bit. I love the dialogue and the collectable clues to get access to new dialogue options. My first try was 232 seconds, just because i wanted to stay in this world much longer. Great game and great job!

Developer(+1)

ah amazing. That's so great to hear. How many times did you die?

Submitted(+1)

You mean used androids? I think 4

Submitted(+1)

the sound is very nice! And I love the  atmosphere ;-)

Developer

thanks. I wanted the sound to be in contrast to the danger in the game.

Submitted (1 edit) (+1)

The dialogue is great and makes it fun to see other possibilities.  The music fits the game and art style very well.  My best try was 16 seconds lol.  Great job!

Edit: Got lucky on the first try with 72 seconds

Developer(+1)

wow 16 seconds is fast. Great job.
