Wow nice, do I see a winner here? :D
Cool idea and use of the theme! I definitely found myself getting frustrated near the end and gave up at the skybridge with the two swinging axes, maybe could have used some checkpoints -- like a door that you can open from the other side, to keep the theme. Still really well done, loved the sound effects and the cheeky name generation / death messages :)
Ok this was amazing! love it
Really cool game! its a super effective horror game.
stuff that was good: The 3d models were realy nice and the animations were great too, the mechanic of leaving the corpse of past travellers to know where the traps are was really cool.
stuff to improve: I died alot on traps that i already knew were there, like in a case that there was a hallway with two spiked walls and a trap in the middle, even when i knew about it the trap when i tried to go past it it would go off and kill me, maybe deactivating past traps would help, but it could be a design choice.
anyways good job!
best drawn hand ever. Also, is this asmr, that fire sound is so satisfying. Anyway, nice name generator and art style, the game is a little frustrating, but it was the same for my game... Good work !
I love asmr :D
Very nice game, really immersive :) I love that you can see your previous dead bodies, that is a nice touch.
Hahahaha, I over-estimated my shin strength.
This is great, suits the theme very well! I steped on the first pressure plate 3 times because I didn't understand what was happening but once I got it I was walking on egg shells the whole time. Love how you leave the lanterns behind to light the way and see where you've been. Just needs some creepy, dungeon ambient audio to get me a bit more immersed. Great work!
Simple, but yet effective!! I Love the artstyle of the protagonist(s), the only thing i'd complain about is the FOV was a bit weird (maybe too close??) but other than that great entry!!
Such cool visuals! Fits the theme very well, the sound effects are great also. Really well done!
Man, I've never stared at the ground in any other game like I did in this game xD
Really cool game, really funny to play, congrats
The game looks awesome, great atmosphere, and ambiance. However Checkpoints woul be nice or some less traps
Not the most fun, but a pretty cool and unique game, plus, it fit the theme beautifully.
This is really great, I love the simplicity, and the depth it offers. The dynamic tutorial of the first body. The lights on the bodys naturally lighting up the area you died to, making it far more obvious, and the frustration of dying to the very final trap, and having to shamefully walk forward 2m, then back 2m with the crystal skull.
You knew it would happen to somebody...
GOT EM BOYS
I love it :O In the beginning, I was thinking that ok this is dumb but then I realized that my bodies mark where the traps are and where I went or not!! AMAZING!!!!
The graphics are very cool, and the sounds are fantastic!
Nice atmosphere and game overall, although it can get slightly repetitive retreading the same path, the concept fit the theme really well, I wished the field of view for the light was wider but nicely done.
To put it simply: just great - love it!
the best game so far, really enjoyed spamming in this game lol. can u plz rate mine
such a cool game with mind blowing graphics , i really enjoyed it.
So far my favorite game from the jam. It's hard to believe it was made in less than 3 days.
I love the randomly generated names, death messages, and messages when viewing bones. It adds a generous touch of humor to the game.
I feel like the level may be a little large, but it was satisfying to complete once I did.
Do you plan on expanding the game at all? Perhaps adding other dungeons to play through after completing the first?
We've spoken about making more dungeons briefly, so it's possible! Personally I find a project like this exhausting and whatever my intentions I find I don't come back it. But I can't speak for the team.
As you mentioned and some other people have pointed out, this level might be too much for some people? It might be interesting to see quicker levels with the same trap density, or larger easier levels, or a checkpoint system.
We have some traps ready that didn't make it to the final build (flamethrower!) We'll likely put it in the existing level after the jam.
