The random level "design" is pointless, the enemies are stupid cylinders, and hitting the enemies is almost impossible - but still - I like your game somehow, so well done :)

This did not follow the theme but the game was fun and abstract looking!

Developer

It is annoying I couldn't fit it to the theme, but it's good you enjoyed it!

Submitted

Very fun! but its not really connected to the theme and I didn't understand what I was needed to do):

Developer(+1)

Due to the short amount of time I didn’t have a chance to make a tutorial and didn’t manage to fit it to the theme, which is annoying. Glad you found it fun though!

As you admit, not a great topic fit, but really love the visuals and it's a fun, abstract space to explore. :D

Developer

Thanks!

Very cool that you got all those goals you set done, like pathfinding and random generation etc. It seems like there isn't much of a goal to the game and it is very hard to navigate the level given how abstract it is (if there is a goal, I didn't know at all where it could possibly be haha :P ) But yeah well done!

Developer(+1)

There wasn't much of a goal, I guess it was just to survive untill the time runs out. Thanks for the kind feedback :)

cool concept!

Developer

Thank you!

Interesting game, but the FOV, sensitivity, and confusing-ness of it made it kind of hard to play. Pretty fun once you get the hang of it.

Developer

This was my first time making a 3D character controller and I wasn’t sure how to optimise the sensitivity and FOV didn’t cross my mind. Sorry about that, thanks for the feedback though :)

I'm sorry but for me your game is unplayable... i can't play with that low FOV :C

Developer(+1)

I have to agree the FOV is too low but it didn’t occur to me while making it. Sorry about that!

It's really impressive that you were able to make this in just 24 hours. I actually think it fits the theme in a broad sense because I was significantly better at the game the second time around. The level itself was too busy and the enemies blended in with the colors a lot so it was a little disorienting, but I find a lot of 3D games disorienting so take that feedback with a grain of salt. Good job and I'm glad you got to test out all the things you wanted to in just 24 hours!

Developer

I’m not very good with the assets of things, I am ok at 3D modelling but for a game like this in such a short time of development I couldn’t make anything for it. I’m also not great with picking good colours so sorry about that! Anyway, thanks for the feedback :)

Nice game! Yeah, its a shame that it doesnt fit the theme, still cool, though!

Feedback: Maybe add some kinda instruction as I was lost at first, and the movement is a bit janky

Good job :)

Developer(+1)

I was planning on making a tutorial but I wanted to test a bunch of things and so by the time I had done them, I had no more time left available to work on the game. Thanks for the feedback anyway :)

Nice offering, I can see this being really fun with some more polish! It's a shame you didn't manage to adapt the game idea to the theme, but the gameplay loop has legs.

One thing that struck me is that the shooting doesn't seem to change direction on the y axis, so I couldn't shoot uphill which was strange to get used to. Your arena is also very busy, with tons of shapes around. This is cool, but does make it quite difficult to navigate. It does show off what your 3D character controller can do though!

Developer(+1)

I followed a simple brackeys tutorial for the movement and shooting on the y axis didn’t really pass through my mind at all while making this. I also felt it was a bit overcrowded but I didn’t have any more time I could work on the game so I had to leave it as is. Thanks :)

No worries, what you ended up with is still cool! Just wanted to point out areas where I think you could probably make it even better if you wanted to keep working on it :) Good job overall!
