Thanks :) I am glad to hear you liked " interpretation of the theme " :) I am really glad to hear you liked models, i always make 3d games because of them.. (I believe 3d modelling is one of my strongest parts in game development) I understand your problem about my poor optimization, i will make sure to add lower quality or something like that (In my future games) .. You are right about sound effects, game has just few of them..Maybe more sound effects could make game more satisfying.. But i do not regret my desicion about "not making more sound effects" because i really didn't have lot of time (caused by my laziness probably, if this is really the case then i regret my desicion)...
It is awesome to see you liked my game :) Thanks for great feedback and have a nice day..
the graphic setting were too high to be able to enjoy this on a laptop like mine. I saw enough to see that you tried to fulfill the jam topic. Plz put there a button to lower graphic settings next time.
Great concept, fits for the topic!
I like the models and the overall visuals.
I found some bugs:
- the dash only works if you going to left
- sometimes I stuck on the platforms edge
- can trigger something above the platform (but maybe designed in that way)
The music is good, but a little bit short.
You did a decent job, I enjoyed for a while!
First of all thanks :)
You can somethimes get get stuck platforms edge, thats true, i didn't have enough time to solve it and i didn't consider it as a major problem..
I don't know what did you trigger something above the platform, i really did not notice that (Did you hit spikes which was on a platform above you? I can't imagine that in another way... But i didn't have a issue like that while playing?)
I am quite sure dash works everytime, can you explain it better because i am quite sure it was working properly.. (If you meant only left-dash works, that is not actually the case, You can press right mouse button for right, left mouse button for left dash, if your problem was something different please tell me :) )
I am glad you liked it! I feel happy when i am able to entertain someone with my game :)
Very interesting idea, I liked the controls and overall visuals/art style, good job!
The jump was super floaty but I liked that for a change. It was a nice rewarding platformer with a unique art style though I think the music wasn't necessary and the added abilities could have just been gained normally instead of dying (that part seemed a bit forced).
Thanks for valuable feedback :)
Yeah, jump was floaty but i didn't consider this as a problem, but next time i will be careful about that.. But i am glad to hear you liked it!
I (sometimes) love my art style.. Music is a good element of a game in my opinion so i never considered not adding music.. But it could be better to have a different music than this strange thing ( :D )...
You are right about that part is forced, i wanted to implement theme as much as possible, so i had to do it.. I didn't really have another idea to implement theme so i just stayed with it.. I agree it was bit forced for a normal game but because this game is made around a theme, in my opinion it was necessary.. So it is my fault, i didn't have other ideas to implement...
Thanks, Have a nice day :)
Thanks! Well i didn't think it was super floaty during jam but right now i get what you mean.. It is super floaty.. About dash you are right, i never considered that option (i mean i played lots of games with dashing but i didn't even remember how they implemented to their game) , you are absoluately right, it would be better.. I am hapy to hear you like roots of my game :)
Thanks a lot! Those feedbacks are great! Have a nice day :)
I liked your 3d models! I noticed this folder in the game files that you could probably remove to decrease the download size:
You are absoluately right, but i send the game before seven minutes to the deadline.. (i didn't know about +10 minutes) and i didn't have even a logo! So i rushed and i didn't notice that folder.. Sorry..
Thanks! I believe 3d modelling is my strongest part so its great to hear you like them :)
Have a nice day :)
Thanks! Music may be bit anoyying indeed, i left it because i liked it simply, but i kinda regret that :)
You meant dashing? It can be done both dirrections, you must just press right mouse button for right, left mouse button for left dash.. I Suppose you mean dashing with that..
Thanks for feedback, also i am glad to hear you liked graphics :)
My low budget PC had a very hard time running this at 4 fps xd
It looked pretty cool and played pretty nicely, though next time you should probably give an option to activate Post Processing and not activate it by default.
I hear the music, but I'm unfortunatly not being able to play. There's not even a play button appearing, like in Tyrannosaurus' comment. :(
But, good music.
Unfortunately, after I hit PLAY a black bar appears on the left of the screen and nothing happens :( Sorry I can't give you any feedback or rating, but I simply can't play the game.
Sorry mate!
I won't say anything about the motion blur, you got enough comments already :D
The game almost crashed for me too, but I made it to the game!
I like the idea of the game a lot, but I think if you made it even more simplistic (maybe full 2D or easier on the visuals) it would get even better.
Cool game!
Thanks! Yeah almost every comment says it (Motion blur) :D
Well i am not sure why those crashes happen, Glad to hear you was able to play!
Idea was important for me so i came up with this idea, pretty happy to hear you like it :)
Well you are probably right about simplistic visiuals (maybe even 2D) but let me tell a secret: I am way too bad at 2D graphics :/ But yeah probably making them bit simplier was the solution, but i didn't see it because i always go for high quality graphics (if you can call this "high quality graphics") after doing basic gameplay :D
Thanks for valuable feedback! Hope you will have a nice day :)
sorry bro but the game just crashed after sometimes but the music feels nice
it was pretty fun. I agree with VideoGamester about the motion blur tho
