Super interesting concept and fun gameplay! The controls weren't super easy for me to grasp, I found myself just standing in one place and rolling around for the first two boss fights, which felt like a cheese. Would really enjoy a full game of this mechanic. Great work!

Thanks! Yours was so fun to master. Gotcha back

Thank you! Returned the favor.

Heheh gotcha back! Cool game

Got you back! Thanks

Got you back. Thanks so much!

Quite difficult! But I liked all the different weapons. Would be awesome if you kept building onto this concept.

Lots of positives here. Love the artwork, concept, and gameplay a lot. On my first playthrough I died quite a lot, but it was frustrating in the way that made me want to master the controls. When I finally beat him, I was disappointed there weren't more bosses lol. I'd love to see the record player incorporated into the fight somehow or maybe the ability throw the records at things in the environment for power ups. Awesome game!

The game looks great and I dig the sprite work here a lot. Wasn't able to get past the first boss after a handful of deaths, which maybe is intentional but I found the learning curve a bit steep. Still great use of theme with a complementary aesthetic.

Unfortunately couldn't play this one, art and visuals looked absolutely insane here and I'm sure it plays great from all these kind comments. Good luck with your submission!

Thank you for playing!

Unfortunately wasn't able to play due to issues porting to Mac through Wineskin ): It's a shame, the game looks great from the screenshots.

Glad you enjoyed the spin-outs! Thanks for playing (:

Big kudos on making such a polished game that also uses Playroom! Super impressive graphics, unfortunately couldn't find anyone else on the server but had fun taking down the boss on my own. Great job

Amazing clicker! I was overwhelmed by the UI at first, but at the end everything made sense. Great polish as well. Couldn't get past the Demon General but had fun nonetheless!

Thank you for playing! I liked yours too, felt like our games had very similar concepts.

Appreciate your kind feedback and critiques. We're working on balancing the game now to provide more of a challenge.

Thanks for the review and detailed feedback. Loved your submission as well.

Thank you for the feedback! We added that auto-fire in the most recent web build. But difficulty is a more complicated issue that we plan to tackle with multiple updates

Very cute tutorial! Polished with an intentional storyline to go along. Gameplay itself wasn't my favorite, I personally didn't like the process of destroying the black rocks to charge up an attack. But still, lovely music and visuals and great work overall.

Gotcha back! Thank you.

Very good use of theme. I love the atmopshere of the game, and the main boss fight music is catchy. Great work!

Just finished playing. Great game! Very similar to ours in concept, was cool to compare the two implementations.

Excellent work. The use of theme in the level design is very cool and I love the variation in the bosses attack. The difficulty felt tough but fair, which has been rare among the games I've been playing for the jam. Lots of fun!

Gotcha! Thanks for playing

Cool use of theme! It was a bit hard for me, but might be a skill issue lol.

Love the dreary atmosphere, very akin to Hollow Knight. Gameplay was a bit hard in my opinion, and I very much appreciate the level of depth that was put into the artwork, but it caused some visual clutter for me. Overall, great effort and objectively amazing polish.

Awesome style! The hammer attack is a bit slow, but I assume that's part of the games balance. Great job.

What a spinny game!! Couldn't help but max out your star rating for use of theme, it's everywhere! The somewhat simple art contrasting with extremely high-quality sound effects was a bit jarring, but it gave me that old flash game feeling, which gets nostalgia points. Great job overall!

Just rated, great job!

The balance on this game is excellent. One critique I have is it didn't feel that satisfying to land a hit on enemies. But I understand we didn't have time to make a 100% complete game. Dope entry overall.

Gotcha back! Thanks

Also didn't have a controller and was getting some harsh bugs playing through Wineskin, so I wasn't able experience the way it was intended, but giving you a good rating anyway. Artwork, sound, and use of theme are excellent

Got yours too, thank you!

Done! Thank you

Excellent work! Love the unique way the player moves in comparison to most platformers, I was thrown off at first but found it very complementary to the boss design. Really enjoyed the quirky music that goes along with the overall feeling of the game. Cool to have boss designs that integrate the theme.

Very pleasant artwork and style choices. The boss fights themselves are very complex, albeit too difficult for me to complete both after multiple tries. The voice acting was a cool addition. Great use of theme too, good job!

Really enjoyed the style of gameplay, very straightforward and easy to learn. The artwork is beautiful and dramatic, reminds me of Final Fantasy which I'm assuming this game draws inspiration from. Great take on the theme as well, not knowing what upgrade you'll get makes for very interesting playthroughs. Excellent work

Thanks for playing! Yes, we could add a delay after the player ship is damaged. We neglected to add that feature in this build as we felt the bosses were pretty easy
