Hey just gave it a play. Pretty fun design. I wish y inverted wasn't default and the music should stay between plays. Multiplayer didn't seem to work. A few more abilities per boss would have been good
Thank you for the feedback! Multiplayer didn't work? Can you tell how it happened?
we both put the same code in (Sarge) since we guessed that was how we got into the same game and I was the leader of the party. Once we were both in I clicked play and we got in but the other person didn't get in on his screen. I tried this with 1 other person as well and got the same result. Maybe we just got unlucky or something idk
It's fine thank you for telling us. That was so helpful.
I had a bit of a hard time with the controls but i love the art and the mouse wheel for reloading is something I've not seen before but i think it works great in this
Thank you so much! We have some settings if you'd like to make changes and give it another shot! We're thankful that you tried it!
I feel that the game overall looks very polished. Both the graphics and controls are extremely cool. Additionally, the design of charging shots with the mouse scroll wheel is also fantastic. Great job!
Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm glad you liked it!
The use of the mouse wheel for reloading is really cool!
Thank you so much!
Really good concept - and I always loved and still love the neon artstyle in games :D
Visually and gameplaywise it's a really polished game so kudos for the work!
It was a bit laggy in my browser but my PC is not a fusion-reactor so that was expectable. The controls felt a bit strange at first and somehow I didn't have ammunition and didn't really figured out right away how / where / what.
The multiplayer factor is also good, usually multiplayer games are rare in game jams so it's always a breath of fresh air!
Thank you so much for playing! The controls are just weird, I know now. The web was super great to work with!
love the neon art style in the game! had a lot of fun playing and getting used to the abilities. i did notice the vertical looking was inverted which not sure if that was intended or not for a first person shooter but made it a bit difficult to aim up or down. had a fun time playing though and would love to see how this plays in multiplayer!
Thank you for your feedback! Multiplayer was fun! And the controls need a bit of tweaking. Got it!
Had some trouble with mouse capture for some reason. The music was nice and I liked the concept. Good job!
Thank you for your feedback!
Big kudos on making such a polished game that also uses Playroom! Super impressive graphics, unfortunately couldn't find anyone else on the server but had fun taking down the boss on my own. Great job
Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad you had fun!
A very unusual use of the mouse wheel — a kind of spinning mechanic as well! :) I wouldn't say it's super convenient, but it's definitely something new. The mouse sensitivity felt very high, but I adjusted it on my own mouse. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any players for multiplayer, so I wasn't able to test that part. The boss fight was quite interesting, and the visual effects were really nice. At first, I even thought this was made in Unreal Engine, but then I remembered the Unity logo during loading.
Oh my... My team appreciate your words so much! Thanks for the detailed comment and that unreal part... That's amazing that you think of the graphics in that way! But the question remains, did you get a win though? XD
Interesting use of the scroll wheel, multiplayer was fun and worked pretty well. Good job!
Thank you for your feedback!
We are balling with this one
Of course, we are!
cool art and design, thank you for adding a way to tweak the control of the camera, it was little bit hard to play it like that. I would prefer the floors to be a little bit more flatter, great gamejam submission overral anyway.
Thank you for checking our entry! I'm checking yours now!
Amazing visuals, I found the controls a bit hard to master but with practice got better, my only "complain" is the player shooting wasn't as satisfying as I believe it could be, I just felt like running and dashing against the boss lol, the reload with the mouse is unique requires some getting used to but overall a very nice game :)
Thank you for your feedback! How do you think would make the shooting behavior feel better?
Maybe a bigger FX regarding the boss getting hit (particles flying when he gets hit maybe) or a more "intensive" sound :)
I honestly like the concept of using the scroll wheel to reload. felt like you were actually reloading something instead of just pressing a button (my mouse has a feature where the scrolling can be completely smooth to scroll for longer periods of time, which made it much faster). But I feel like the camera is very restricted in how high or low it can go. It's hard to properly see your surroundings and even makes it harder to aim properly. The visuals look super appealing though. Well done!
Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm happy you enjoyed your time and for the aiming restriction, we'll learn from that mistake in the next games we make!
This is a good game at all. I would have prefer more flat floors, as it make the movements a bit annoying. Also, I didn't liked the inversed camera, as when I go down with my mouse, camera goes up. Other than that, this is really solid submission for a jam, so Congrats for that !!
Thank you for your kind words! Yeah it seemed like a choice that not many people liked but you could access the settings and invert it!
Good implementation to the theme liked the mechanics , but idk why the mouse wheel reloading was so slow anyway good job
make sure to check mine :D
Thank you! I have had fun with your game! I'm glad you liked it!
Pretty cool game but i don't think I can get people to join the lobby.
You can go on a solo run! It works just as well!
Cool looking game, movement feels really neat as well!
Even though it's amazing to have multiplayer, would still be nice to have quick solo mode to practice and get in quicker.
You can play solo as well! It's not practice xD I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
YEEHAW
YEEHAW to you too!
SOOOO sensitive! What is your mouse DPI at!? 2? :P But it was a neat game, the dash felt super nice and controls felt cleaner when i turned my mouse DPI all the way down. Not sure if the sensitivity control is just not working but it felt wayy to sensitive even all the way turned down.
Thank you for playing! We should have tested the sensitivity more. I'm glad you liked it!
