good art. If you have some free time, how can you watch my game?

Just enough story to motivate me to keep going (Knowing why I'm here doing this means a lot to me) and steering the ship feels so great I just couldn't stop. The first three bosses weren't really great, in that they were too samey and not challenging, but Epsilon and Theta are really good. The real bosses are the walls in many ways, as enemy fire didn't kill me once, the huge spikes thing killed me once, and 99 deaths were by walls crashing on me. Epsilon's speed made me respec (very thankful for allowing this btw) into speed to not lose to the walls, and Theta's healing made me change strategies and be more aggro in the fight to outdamage the healing. Such balancing to make me engage with the mechanics and change my gameplay makes the game pretty good, only wish the first three bosses (mostly second and third, since the first one is your tutorial and should be that simple) had more of that to make the experience rewarding from start to finish.

Also, this feels very much like the prologue to a larger story, in that you get to play this character to meet the world, and then when he is killed, control transfers to the person who called him a few times and you get to continue investigating this world, the Void and the company. Using a jam to produce a doomed prologue setpiece is actually genius work, really activated my almonds.

The bosses feel so unique, and the gameplay is just great! I really loved the visual styles of the game as well and the music to go with it!

(P.S.: If you're willing to I'd love it if you can rate and leave some feedback on my game! This is my first ever jam and I'd love to see where I can improve for the future!)

I like a lot the visuals and the sci fi feel of the game, the ship movement is smooth and easy, aiming with mouse is cool too, I like the music and mechanics, really well made, I rate graphics, music, control, fun and mechanics on top, all well made, also, if you have some time, please, rate my game thanks!!!

Cool boss decision and ship customization concept. Earning $1 at a time is pretty funny. I think the spinning environment is well done - many other games attempt spinning arenas but it either feels inconsequential or obnoxious, but this one is pretty good (except for the instant obliteration if you get crushed lol). Boss design is awesome.

Really fun game! I like how you can change the ship's configurations. Some walls seem to one-hit kill me, suddenly I have like -76/30 HP from touching one

unique boss style and great game.

Amazing! I gave this one max point for fun cause i was chasing all those upgrades haha. I like how the upgrades actually changed up the gameplay a lot. Controls were tight, visuals were good, writing was funny, well done!

This was a super cool and unique game dude! I like that you don't get hurt by the atmosphere unless you get pincered and smashed, lots of cool uprades, very unique boss, one of the better ''bullet hell'' meets asteroids if you can call it that, has a lot more of manuevering around the spinning environment.   Would have been cool if you could pick your boss, or maybe a save function. Very unique environment, and boss, and very fun.

I skill issued but I had alot of fun. The last level is still kicking me and my ship's butt.

Normally  not the biggest fan of these types of games but this was actually way more fun than I expected. Good feedback looks good and very easy to understand

This game has been the best one I've played personally. It's more than just a game submission. It's a showcase of skill and dedication. Loved every bit of this game. 5 Stars across the board

This is a really good game!

The spinning world is a nice idea, and while being something to look out but otherwise don't bother that much about first, adds to the challenge later, which is really nice in terms of progression.

I found the upgrading of your ship also pretty good and really helpful over time.

Two things I didn't like:

I find the CRT effect in the upgrade menu more distracting than fitting, sorry.

And I think the ships acceleration and deceleration is a little high, for me the controls would feel better if they would actually be a little less snappy.

Wow, this is a great game! It has a really great aesthetic, it is a lot of fun, and the theme is incorporated well through the level. The controls are very easy to pick up and it's satisfying moving and dashing around. The art is great, I love the eldritch/body horror theme!

I also enjoyed the levelling system a lot, gives you a lot of options and builds and I could see it expanded even further. For now I tried some glass cannon builds (less life, more damage/bullet size/bullet ricochet), some "shielding" ones (less life, maxed deflection tree), and some hybrid ones. In general I noticed more "speedy" builds tend to do better for me, as my main way of dying was being crushed by the arena (which is very interesting, but sometimes I noticed it was a bit bugged as some of the times I died I was just chilling on a spinning block).

The story is also very intriguing, and I'm surprised by the amount of stuff there is in the game! I admit I couldn't beat the clock boss (as already said, I got crushed multiple times by the arena), but maybe I'll go for a rematch later.

Only criticism I have, I fell like boss movement and shooting is a bit too random and could feel unfair at times, also i didn't get how the clock boss worked (I had to damage the numbers, but why and what happened when I didn't? Maybe a bit more feedback was needed).

Really fun, I like the points upgrade system and the controls felt nice and easy to use. I noticed that before each level there is a second where the scene has disappeared and became like a grey box, which i think is what you see on godot when there isn't a scene transition animation, a very Very small thing and the only thing i noticed. Very good job!

I am impressed you did all this in a month!! very nice aesthetic, and the gameplay elements were fun :)

Excellent work. The use of theme in the level design is very cool and I love the variation in the bosses attack. The difficulty felt tough but fair, which has been rare among the games I've been playing for the jam. Lots of fun!

Love the sound and overall aesthetic! It's challenging in a fun way. Would've liked to see a little more boss variety, but I thought the utilization of the stage as part of the boss design was fun.

I love the aesthetics of the enemies, the universe in which the game takes place is very engaging. The theme spin was very much incorporated into the game, as the level spins and you might get crushed from that! Really cool, I managed to beat it! For the players struggling with some of the levels, I would highly recommend upgrading speed and health, they seem very essential. Great gameplay, intense soundtracks and incredible art.

It didn't feel like a  bossfight, more like chasing something down and destroying it, which isn't a bad gameplay loop, just doesn't feel the boss rush aspect of this jam. Would like to see the boss have more impact and feel more unique from one another. Thanks for this game, I had loads of fun!

Looks very polished on all departments, so your team did a great job. My only feedback would be:

- From what I have seen there is only 1 type of boss? Would like to see more with more boss arena variations, cuz on 4th time it becomes kinda repetative;

- Also iirc 4th boss can kill you with fast moving arena, which is a bit anti-climatic, cuz before you could touch it safely, but then with a bit of a speed buff it is just one shots you, like I think player won't expect that;

- I would remove filter on the ship upgrade UI , because you need to read there what upgrades do, but then filter's thingies annoy you, cuz they cover the text.

Thanks for the feedback!

-That’s a fair criticism. We unfortunately ran out of time.

-The stage terrain killing you is a bug.  I was able to replicate it, and I suspect it has to do with how godot’s  physics engine resolves collisions at higher velocities.
