Was confused at first, thought I just have to spam click and wait and repeat the process. Then realized I could invest in high value bulbs first to speed up the process lol. Wish there was more strategy involved as well!

Love the vibe of the game, so cutee.
Couldn’t figure out how to make money faster tho, despite having built every station on earth and moon. I feel having a mechanic to make some decisions would make it more interesting, like safety warnings which you can choose to ignore or fix. Also that would keep me pretty occupied to ensure the travel operations run smoothly!
You're right!
Sometimes it's difficult to judge if the thumbnail is good enough to attract attention, so I recommend checking the game's CTR.
For my game it was less than 1% initially, so I added a gif, a tagline, and reassembled the screenshots. The CTR improved to a 2%. I tried experimenting with new cover images, but it affected the CTR negatively so I reverted back. Performing simple experiments like these, and validating assumptions through qualitative analysis helps to gain more clicks.
However I feel getting a good rank in a game jam is not dependant on number of ratings. Game quality is important too.
Thank you for playing! SPOILER: Actually the aim of the game is to escape the notebook, in the end it is revealed that the exit is on the first level, so you'll have to go back. I should have made it more obvious.. you're missing the best part of the game so perhaps you can try and rate the game again?
Amazing game! It was all nice until I realized there were updates for dying. I found a whole new game trying to avoid the enemies to get better updates first. You can probably make the fighting necessary by adding some rewards. The game speed can also be slightly faster. Nevertheless, it's all really fun by itself! Well done!
Art and music is good! You can probably add some risk vs reward mechanic, as I could just die infinitely to pick up more coins which is no fun. It could be a timer, for example, so I'll have to decide if I should die for more coins but risk not finishing in time and loose it all. Nevertheless, a good game considering how early you've submitted it
This was my second game jam and first Godot game! It's surreal to see that people love the game I've created..
There wasn't much of a struggle, maybe because I've struggled much more on my first jam (GMTK) and previous games. It was all enjoyable to design levels and improve visuals, after I've build the prototype. The greatest learning that helped me this time is to create a minimum viable product, the basic platformer movement in my case, before working on art or other features. I've spent more than half the time just to perfect the core platformer mechanics, making it responsive and fun. That was the end of big challenges. Cool ideas come after that, and development is fast.
I've also learnt a lot playing others games; from how fast paced a game should be to making the game rewarding. On the whole a great experience!
(PS Thank you @DrManatee, happy to see my game on your favorites collection :D )
Well done on submitting your game for your first game jam! The game is nice, but it can be much better; you can probably display the score after the run ends and make it rewarding, as I don't know why I would trade lives for a score. And you could add a little more visual feedback.
For your next game jams try Godot's html export as many people here wouldn't want to download
