Thanks for the feedback. We definitely need to fix the camera in one way or the other. We personally felt, that controlling the wind direction with just A and D didn't feel right, but since this is now the second time we got this feedback, we should probably add an option for it. Maybe we got a bit of a Stockholm syndrome situation with the current controls in the team ;)

First of all, I love the wordplay.

The game is a lot of fun and I'd love to keep it as a casual game on my phone - so I'd like to join the others: please make your game available as an Android app. LibGdx supports that pretty much out of the box, to my knowledge.

And I think I found a bug in the web version (android/firefox), there is a bit of an artefact in the fish texture. Maybe related to an SpriteAtlas, if you happen to use one.

A button for that would've been a great idea; I might even implement it once the voting period is over. Thanks for the feedback!

The enemies didn't move at all, is that a bug? Is there anything I could do to play the game anyway or could you provide a fix? I'd love to actually try the game concept out.

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, but is there a game somewhere in that executable or is it just a joke about being trapped in an ocean with no way to escape?

The game is very engaging but requires your (or at least my) full concentrations to counteract the zoom-ins. Due to the insane speeds, it's rather challenging to evade the obstacles if you just delivered goods to an island, which in turn takes up your entire view. In that case I can only recommend to go into a "holding pattern" (-> turn in circles) until you know where you are again.

I can only recommend trying crazy loop, especially if you have better reflexes than me. As your score goes up, more elements come into play (tornadoes, cannons, ...)which make for a very fun expereince. But ,I must admit, that the cannon balls aren't nearly as dangerous as the wooden crates, which are an immeadiate death sentence - even tho they are supposed to be a power up ;)

At first I followed the tutorial arrows and just assumed, that the arrows would lead me to the mentioned bases and pretty much finished the game with a shot or two - but then I tried to find the bases on my own (as intended)... and then the fun began.

There's always a bigger ship to shoot you when you got one of the smaller ones, and I spent more time fighting armadas of bobbleheaded pirates than I'm willing to admit. I love the visuals and the gameplay is really engaging.

The warp effect on the sides was a bit much, otherwise I've got no negative points - that aren't explained by a distinct lack of time (e.g. -> only one level)..

It's a bit creative interpretation of the theme but I had some fun playing it :)

The sound and music were awesome and matched the graphic design perfectly. The gameplay is very innovative.

I would add some explanation to the buttons without hovering it, so you don't forget midgame which variable something was. Everything else was on point. Good work.

levels and a winning scenario were planned, but it didn't match with the time boundaries.
The Escape Pod is a cool idea anyway... maybe I'll add it after the jam.
Thank you for the feedback!

Thanks, well you are better than  our team at our own game.
P.S: It'll be done

In theory the lights flicker [stares at shitty code] - maybe i shouldn't add those features in the last few minutes next time.

Thanks, we will spend more time on the atmosphere next time ;)

Cool game idea. Nice implementation. Good graphics.

I had fun playing your cool interpretation of the theme.
And these death messages were the best!

Had some fun playing the game.
The mixture of the music and the 'frustration' is a bit irritating but gives the game a charme of its own. Good work!

Nice to hear that you had fun :)

I really liked your game and have nothing to criticize other then:

the big-color-changing blob was very very very difficult.

Sounds fit, graphic was simple but good, the game made fun and fitted the theme. Awesome.

Your game is very cool and i actually got to the final level and had a lot of fun.

But ...
 - i don't know if it's a local bug but the space button isn't working sometimes
 - some levels and especially the final level took some time to figure it out (but i'm not good at puzzle games, so...)
 - also in the final level the space button wasn't working so i never beat it
 - pls make the Character playable per WASD
 - and add some delay between going one step back and a bunch of steps back. That needs a better timing.

I hope my feedback helped and have a great time making games!

Thanks for the feedback. We will definetly need to fix that once the jam is over.

After a little pause i tried this game again and still got stuck after the second camel wave after the cats. But from that what i've seen i can say that:

The graphics looked great and with a little bit more time you probably would have fixed the animation of the gun too ;-).

The game idea didn't just fit the theme but was also pretty nice to play even though it was a bit buggy (The respawn points despawned sometimes without notifications and i couldn't find the system behind it)

Also add something like a black outline to the menu text so you can still see it in the second level.

Although - Great game that just needs some polishing

[and an easy mode :-(  ]

Thanks for the really detailed Feedback. We appreciate that you took the time to write that.

Here is mine: https://deverror.itch.io/timefix

I'll play yours :-)

Your game is pretty nice. I liked especially the art style.
But it is ok for a bodyguard to push a random citizen on the road? Ok.

My game btw: https://deverror.itch.io/timefix

This is my game: https://deverror.itch.io/timefix

Btw, your game is pretty nice. I liked especially the art style.
But it is ok for a bodyguard to push a random citizen on the road? Ok.

The controls are a bit buggy but the idea is good!

Cool game

I played this game now for half an hour and i'm so happy that i finally got the 2-stones-1-button done that i will leave it for now. May play it further tomorrow. Great Game!

Cool art style and idea. Even though the shooting system was a bit weird.

I really enjoyed your game but i must admit that the 'No-S/Backwards'-thing made it really hard.
Btw, is it possible to change the physics so not everything is flying in slow-mo? Not a really necessary thing but i think that would give the game more realism.

To conclude: it is a good and funny game.

We are sorry that you didn't like our game. We didn't know this bug because it didn't appear to our playtesters. We would fix this but we are not allowed to do that in this phase of the game jam.

But there is a workaround by just going to level 2 in the level select menu.

thank you for the feedback 👍
