Nice concept, just needs a leaderboard for highscores and a bit more diversity.
Thanks for playing ! Just can't get as far as I wanted, but I'm happy I published something in a short amount of time, and manage to sleep ;)
We had a lot of fun testing your game during our live stream today, here is a link to the video archive if you missed it or wish to check again: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFx5tA14Nyc&t=6778s
Awesome game, good gameplay, and cute design. Hopefully we were 2 to play, alone, it must be quite hard!
Thank you for playing my game and many other games in this jam. In the end, you seem exhausted from the concentration you needed :)
Hehe yes, we were tired. Your game was the last game we tried, but it was really worth it! Great entry
Really original, took my quite a while to understand the mutation, but once you get it, it's pretty cool
Nice concept, but it's quite difficult when there are a lot of dwarfs.
I find this so hard to me because I can't keep an eye of who is save or not, but I love the idea of this!, nice game
Really fun idea for the theme! I loved the cute art and the gnome puns, too. Great job!
Very cool idea and fun to play! I found it a bit tricky especially if I didn't have the right mutations that I needed at the time
Neat! Brave to make a pandemic game during a pandemic, but I had fun! I like that you have to apply the mutations in a grid area, and that you sometimes have to cycle some mutations before you can find one that will save you. I also like the way the gnomes look, very cute.
At first I plan other disasters, but time is ruthless !
I had a lot of fun with this! Very cute game with a unique concept! I love the look of the gnomes, and the sfx are great as well! Great work!
Thank you
Interesting concept and a good use of the theme. I really liked the music and sounds.
And I really like your name ;) (thanks for playing)
Great idea! Took me a while to understand the "shape vs color" mutations (of course, I didn't read the tuto beforehand, but who does).
I don't read them either ! :) (thanks for playing)
i love it
Cool game idea. Nice implementation. Good graphics.
This game looks great, its fun to play (if not a little bit repetitive), and its got a great name to boot. Great job!
Thanks for playing and yes it need some diversity.
great audio and art, it would be great to have a tutorial in game though.
I run out of time (T _T)
Seems like the strategy to get a long-running population is to diversify your gnomes as much as possible, similar to real-life! At times the game was frustrating when I had to spam the mutations in order to get that ONE mutation that would save my people, but other-wise the game was pretty fun!
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, it need some tweaking, and stuff to diversify the gameplay.
That was fun, you can really get into a groove with it. 25000+ population and I only stopped because it got repetitive. A random event or options to build things on tiles, or quarantine groups or something just to mix things up and cause a scramble would help vary the experience.
The core is good but it could use contrast to keep it interesting.
Thanks for your valuable feedback. I had some of those idea but no more time to implement them (T T)
That is how jam's go. It's still really impressive for such a short turnaround.
Great concept and execution. With a bit more polish, I think it's going to be a fantastic game!
Thanks for your feedback
It was a really cool idea. Overall great game.
Thanks for playing.
Took me a little while to figure out how to play, so some instructions would have been nice, but once I figured it out it turned out to be a really fun game! Nice job!
I agree, I got no more time for a tutorial. But I just realize I can make a tutorial in the page description (yes I'm a little dumb :P )
