Would've been nice to have a bit of prep time, also having a wider view range to see threats. Otherwise it was an fun concept with a lot of potential
A bit difficult, but a very cool idea! Glad to see some Spore inspiration in the jam. Wasn't clear what some of the non-turret pickups did, but I still had a fun time with it. Good job!
The game was interesting and very challenging. I think aiming with the mouse would make this game much easier and intuitive. Good concept though
Thanks for playing. I was thinking of using the mouse to aim, but I was unshure of how to implement it while keeping the object moving mechanic. After the jam I realized I could probably use a key to lock mouse rotation.
Very hard. Took me a while to realize i had to take parts form other bots. Suggestion: add parts scattered around the map.
In the new version there are parts scattered around the map, but very few and far between. Although I should probably drop more as they do break easily.
Great job on the 'build your character' thing though. It was a really fun mechanic, so in my opinion you should play into that. Fun game :)
It's very tough! Either that or I'm just bad at it. I like the game has sound effects, but the laser sound gets a bit dull after hearing it a lot. Perhaps adding multiple laser sounds would balance that out. Nice game!
Amazing idea and at the same time, the most frustrating game I've played in this jam. Only once managed to get to the second size. But really impressive for 48 hours, I would really like to play it once you polish it a bit more. Great job!
I had fun playing your cool interpretation of the theme.
And these death messages were the best!
Really cool idea! I like how you can build the player with different cells, although at first I didn't realise you could use the mouse and had difficulty trying to maneuver into them haha. Liked the messages that show when you die too.
Very good game with a good take on the theme. It a merge of "bad piggies" and "agar.io". Controls could have been better. Awesome idea.
Very nice and fun concept. Good job.
I like how intuitive the gameplay was, but the fact you could only move forward or rotate, without any option of strafing or going backwards, made it unnecessarily infuriating.
You can move backwards, although it is very slow since I didn't want players to just back up from projectiles. Strafing is a good idea, maybe I'll add it, if I decide to update the game. Hope you enjoyed your playthough.
very good game, the enemy AI could have been better, but still awesome game !!!
That was fun. I liked how there was skill involved in mutating yourself beyond just picking up a collectible. My only complaint is sometimes it was frustrating attempting to maneuver myself to attach a piece where I wanted.
Nice idea, needs some more refinement, but the block building is cool AI is a little easy to hit due to them not reacting to getting hit, only on screen.
Thanks for trying it out and feedback, the AI was made very badly, but I'll make them more reactive to being hit, If I update the game.
Really fun game!
This was actually really fun! I'll have to go back to it later. It was cool seeing what all the different pieces did and trying different arrangements for my ship. I thought it would be random at first, but I actually like that it wasnt, i could prepare specifically for the guys I knew i could or couldn't beat. Cool vibes, would love to see it expanded further
I really enjoy the chaotic nature of this one. The gathering of components is a neat idea, though I wish there was more time to setup the attachments you get, or maybe some randomization of the map on each playthrough. As it is I die almost immediately trying to get more than two things to stick to me at the start.
