It's a bit creative interpretation of the theme but I had some fun playing it :)

The sound and music were awesome and matched the graphic design perfectly. The gameplay is very innovative.

I would add some explanation to the buttons without hovering it, so you don't forget midgame which variable something was. Everything else was on point. Good work.

Very well done! It's an interesting combination of like a puzzle and a rage game, which is usually tricky to pull off IMO since you might solve the puzzle but then not have the game skill to actually finish the level, but in this case it was pretty well connected. A little polish with fixing the controls a bit and fixing a few visual glitches and this would be pretty much perfect! Great job!

Really love the idea and the level design! Good puzzles. Very polished considering it was made in 48h. The controls were slightly fiddly but I got the hang of them after a while

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

A little bit hard to throw the objects the way yo wanted it, but I love the idea

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I wanted to add controller support, which would've made a lot more sense than the keyboard controls. I'm glad you liked the idea of the game!

Delightful art and animations. Challenging and clever puzzles.

The most original entry I've played on this jam. Really unique combination of platformer and puzzle.

The graphics and transitions are great. The music fits the mood and creates very nice atmosphere.

The tutorial was very good but I didn't catch that you can hover over the cells to see what the numbers mean. So I played most of the game guessing what they mean based on my actions, which was actually quite fun! I think you could block the descriptions by default and open them as a hint.

As amazing as the level design was I managed to get stuck on around level 4 or 5 where you need to through a box over the wall at the portal that is just below the wall. No idea what to do next. So what I thought would be nice is having a more comprehensive hint on what you need to do and as a quick fix being able to select any level to be able to continue and try all the levels.

Somehow I missed the connection to the theme. Was there supposed to be any?

Also, I've noticed a type that you might've already fixed in the typeFix version but I'll put it here just in case anyway. In the level Over the wall the black box description says "equal to 28" while the picture shows "< 30".

Overall, awesome game! Really impressive for a game jam solo entry.

Hey wow! Thanks for all the feedback!

I'm glad you enjoyed the transitions and music! I tried a lot of new things this Jam, And I'm happy to hear they worked well.

This was one of my first attempts at a puzzle game, so I'm still figuring out how much information to give to the players, especially in the form of hints. I don't want to give too much information, so the player can still have a satisfying time solving the puzzle without having it spelled out to them, but I also don't know how much is too little, where they can't solve the puzzle at all! I'll definitely keep in mind that I probably need to explain the rules of the game better, and provide a little more hints. Possibly even just using levels as 'tutorials' where the solution to the puzzle in one level will be used in multiple levels after it, but utilize that level as a teaching moment.

As for the theme, I didn't follow it very well, ha!

Thanks for pointing out the typo! I've had quite a few. As you can imagine, the level initially required the player to stand at 28, but I changed it last minute because I figured it was a bit much.

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and thanks for all the feedback!

I really like the idea. I don't think I've seen anything like it before, and it works really well. The presentation is very well done too, especially the level end section. I'd love to see you continue working on this, but if you do please make the first few levels a little easier for bad players like me :)!

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'll definitely need to go back to this idea later, and thanks for the feedback about the difficulty!

Wow this was kinda genius! Great implementation of ACE as a still pretty accessible puzzle mechanic, and it got sufficiently confusing and hard! Was the koopa shell  UFO knocking over blocks supposed to be required for any puzzle? I never ended up using it and the hint actually confused me for a while on the first UFO level.

Developer(+1)

The UFO knocking out blocks isn't required for anything, but I thought I'd explain it in case someone killed one without planning on it. It sounds like you cleared the whole game, nice job! Mad props. Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback!

Interesting and challenging game! I loved the mechanic and it took me quite a while to find the solutions, but a good challenge, with nice graphics to add to that, is always great :D

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanic!

A true banger of a game. Simple yet takes a bit of time to find the solution.

Developer

Thanks! I'm, glad to hear you thought it was a banger! I would definitely agree, ha!

VERY cool game! The puzzle mechanic was awesome, well utilized, and the presentation was spot on. It felt like a complete idea that was fully fleshed out, and the whole thing had a lot of polish to it. Great game!

Developer

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This game is so good! Great presentation. It's an odd mechanic but completely unique, a rarity nowadays.
I found the throwing controls a little unpredictable, in levels like "Over the wall" it took me so many tries to get the block to arc right.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Very fun and well polished game! Looks and sounds excellent, and has a strong but doable, amount of challenge to it.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you had fun.

I had so much fun playing this game! It's so creative and I think it surely can be extended into its own product.

I would ask that you add rebindable controls, I would've liked to rebind the grab button to be on the right side of my keyboard instead :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! I was planning on adding controller support but ran out of time. Also you can use either shift key.
