It has a really good aesthetic to it, quite an interesting vibe, intriguing puzzles and a really fantastic creepy art style.
I really liked the vibe and atmosphere, especially the music and creepy art. I did get pretty confused for the wall puzzle since it kept saying the sequence was wrong and to do X wall first and Y wall last, but when I did that, it still said the sequence of the walls was wrong. Based on reading the comments below it sounds like maybe that was part of the puzzle (not trusting yourself maybe?).
depsite that, though, I really thought the experience was pretty interesting and it's one of the more distince gamejam games I've ever played and I'll likely remember it for a long time!
I got: Assimilated! I was being very careful at first and doing my best to figure it out. But, I really didn't know what was going on lol. I think it's good for games to be hard, but it's hard for a player to keep playing if they can't "see" any progress. I ended up clicking as fast as I could, and then got to 23 and lost? Or won maybe? I'm not sure lol
I like the whole atmosphere created and the puzzle is indeed difficult. I wasn't able to pass it but I'll give it another go. Nice game overall.
Nice art! I really enjoyed and kept looking for different art. I really liked how everything fits together. The main music loop seems a bit short.

Great atmosphere! The game took me back to when I was really into puzzle games very similar to this one. It was a bit confusing, but escape rooms are supposed to challenge the mind and your memory well done.
Cool atmosphere! I got really lucky, I didn't know what I was doing and somehow won after pressing a few options.. I'm guessing you're supposed to take notes during the intro to help you figure out the answer? I really like the idea of the game, thanks for making :)
As others mentioned, I got a little lost. I believe the hardest thing was that whatever you do, you always get the message "you might have done something right", it leads the player to believing that something in the sequence was right.
That was a point: I made the game to trick its player. Or realistically, your character were in a situation where their over-confidence only lead to their failure.
I'm very in love with this concept. The atmosphere conveyed here through the story telling and the graphics you chose are perfect. It really sets the mood.
As others have mentioned, the puzzle elements felt more like blind guessing after a point rather than problem solving. But I totally understand that designing puzzles within a short period of time is really hard so it's cool that you managed to do this
I agree with what Wren posted. I am very interested in what's going on here, but I can't figure out what to do other than just go through random combinations of actions until one works. I spent quite a while trying to determine the order and I thought I went through all the possibilities, but clearly I missed one or I didn't find some other piece of information. I don't want this to sound entirely negative, because I really liked the narrative and the use of public domain art.
Thanks for the feedback! I intentionally made this game hard in order to keep the player spent much in-game time (being inspired from older adventure games that don't give much hints to the player). It seems like it backfired.
Hey, no worries. I don't think it's unplayable. I don't even think it's not fun. I just want to play further and know the culmination of the story haha.
Seems like it has a lot of potential, but I need more hints. I got out my paper and tried about 11 combinations, then gave up hahaha. I like the story and I really want to know what happens, but unfortunately can't figure out how to actually play past the first puzzle with the walls.
the wall thing is the only puzzle in this game.
Ah, yeah I kinda thought so, but wasn't sure as I couldn't get past it haha.
