Description
The music I ended up composing is very ambient, with lots of repeated minimalist figures weaving around each other. The kind of game I imagine this scoring is a kind of story driven puzzle game, with lots of elements of exploration. I wanted the music to feel like there's very little motion, without being entirely still.

Theme
How does it fit the theme?
Im drawing pretty heavily the water imagery, as well as the ghostly-figure that the kid is reaching out towards. My usage of a lot of minimalist language is to convey that feeling of reaching out, but then quickly falling away.

Madness... Do you know many ways to go crazy? I know one way... Just listen to what the dolphins are saying.
Well done! Good OST!
GOATED entry, loved the rhythm of the mallets in that 2nd track that made it feel like it was tripping over itself. My favourite has to be Dolphin's Cove though, those interesting textures blending together to create a kinda calming ambience almost made me fall asleep lying in bed lmao nice work!
ps are you the same person who worked on BucketHead a couple months ago? I was part of that team making environmental sounds, you're music then was badass and it's a cool tone shift to hear this soundtrack after what you made for BucketHead!
Really cool minimalist approach, great overall composition and AMAZING sound design! I like how nothing feels too overwhelming but isn't afraid to throw trippy otherworldly textures at the listener.
Great work!
My jaw was actually just on the floor during that trippy segment of Dolphin's Cove, this was really special to listen to.

The marimba with delay on it is an actual treat. Its a lush texture that still has enough rhythmic interest to not lose my attention, and it fits your soundscape very well.
I LOVE the mallet sounds you used in Dream I Can Fly, and I think that track really set the tone for the whole rest of the submission. You nailed the floaty, underwater feel. Really nice work!
Great background music! Each track faded nicely into the next. My favorite was "Dream I Can Fly". Excellent work!
OOooo I loved the nostalgia vibes from Miramichi I definitely got taken to an ethereal and water world with your music. Nice use of that wobbling effects in some of your songs too!
Love this!!
Really fits with the theme and would sound just right on a story driven puzzle game like you describe.
The minimalism really works and you've really achieved that feeling of near stasis whilst still keeping the music very interesting. Is just as good to listen intently to or just relax and let wash over you passively, so completely fulfilling the ambient music mission.
Especially loved that reversed sound part on dolphin's cove too.
This is a nice soundtrack! My favourite part is the reversed, mysterious part in dolphin's cove; I think it gives the track a nice ambience!
All five of these are great! I love the vibe you went for and how unique each track is while still retaining a strong sense of cohesion. Fantastic all around! :D
also hello i saw this in the vgmc server at first and have not gotten to commenting until now :,D
these were incredibly relaxing and nice.
I think the first track might be a bit too simple and the last track had some noises that sounded like they peaked the audio a bit but it was really nice overall.
Yo! I really liked how intimate the songs felt, they were well made and produces without losing any of the original charm of the instruments, a good diverse spread, well done!
