Appreciate it a lot! Will definitely check it out :)

Glad you liked it! Yeah I did take inspiration from other games like beat saber and SDVX for the dark and bloomy ambience, just wanted to create that atmosphere where there's nothing else to focus on but the track :)

Very cool game! Rare to see a rhythm FPS game, and this one was done very well with much detail. It also gets pretty intense if you move around much, not being able to aim properly. Great job!

What an awesome game! It's very challenging making you concentrate both on the space ship dodging the bullets and the beats coming from the sides of the screen, definitely very creative! This also kinda reminds me of Touhou, don't know if you took inspiration from there :)

Very challenging game! It took me a while to understand how to place items because I didn't try to hover the mouse on the tiles at first lol, a tutorial would've been useful. I did find a few bugs like the settings menu not working as well as the pause menu, and the bunnies not showing up when playing another level (or the same one again), thus needing to restart the game. Aside from these bugs the idea is very creative having to play both a tower defense and a rhythm game at once lol, good job!

Thanks a lot! I can see how the bloom intensity could be a bit too high for some people, I was considering adding quality settings to manage post processing quality and stuff but I didn't have enough time for that, gonna add it after the jam period

I gotta say I totally agree with that, in fact I myself experience a bit of audio delay with my wireless headset. I initially had found my sweet spot with a 150ms offset, but I obviously couldn't make that valid for anyone so I had to put a standard offset of 0ms that would hopefully fit for most people. I definitely would've liked to add an option to change the audio offset, but I unfortunately didn't make it in time. Still glad you enjoyed it!

That was kinda the purpose there, making it just a bit harder to see incoming notes and make them more clear as they approach. Though I don't deny that I may have overgone a bit with the intensity

Alright Hamoeba is straight up a masterpiece. Love this game and the concept behind it lol

Nice simple game! Despite the gameplay being a bit short, I can see you spent a lot of work on the visuals and that definitely pays off. It's also a very creative idea of gameplay so good job!

Oh no it's not actually a two player game, though I guess you could play it in two people if you wanted; sorry for the misleading description. I agree with the fact that I wasn't really able to balance the difficulty for non experienced players lol, but I'm glad you still enjoyed it!

Oh shoot I totally missed that, I completely rushed the menus in the last minutes before the deadline so I expected something to break there, but thanks for reporting, I'll fix that

Awesome game! I gotta say the tracks are insanely hard lol, I was missing all the time, but I definitely like the challenge, and I also love the fact that you took inspiration from Muffet's fight :). Also considering this is your first completed game great job!

Damn I'd imagine this is probably one of the hardest games in this jam lol, I can't even beat a hard song but I definitely loved the game and concept, and the multitasking gameplay is definitely unique! Another good thing is that it actually did feel like a proper rhythm game with how the song selection menu was made. Great job!

Thanks a lot! Glad you liked it :)

Woah thanks a lot! Feeling the beat was my main focus in this game, glad it came out well :)

Very cool game and beautiful art and visuals! At first the music seemed a little repetitive but it actually gave a pretty cool vibe to the game, also seeing it perfectly fit to the characters for each song so very good! Though I'd say the grey notes would maybe need some more feedback as someone already said

WARNING: there's a bug where if you play a song and then go back to the main menu, you will play that song again no matter which one you select. To go around this close and reopen the game.

Edit: the in-game UI (like score and judgements) may not show up. This happens under yet unknown circumstances, but shouldn't occurr for most people

Glad you liked it! I did have the idea of making a tutorial or at least adding a reference for the keybindings, but I unfortunately couldn't make it in time. I simply used the typical DFJK layout which most mania rhythm games use so I hoped to keep it simple there but a tutorial would've helped

Cool concept, awesome graphics, good gameplay with snappy responses, and the difficulty is very well balanced and progresses over the track. This just gets a full 5 stars honestly, great job!

The only thing I would've liked is to also be able to use A and D for people with 60% keyboards without arrow keys like me, but at the end I just grabbed my old keyboard just to play this lol (I got ONE single miss :( feels bad)

Thanks a lot! Yeah well I guess I could've fixed the mashing thing, but then it would've became insanely hard considering the current difficulty haha. Also I could've added maybe 3 lives instead of insta-killing you when you get hit, that would've made up for the difficulty. Gonna work on all that stuff once the jam ends

Cool concept and gameplay mechanics, although it's not very challenging when being able to have all the spheres active at once, shame you didn't manage to fix that due to time constraints. But the rhythm is used in a very interesting way, being you making the rhythm by yourself!

haha yea that's the thing, the wave is basically an enemy attack so either you block it or you die :)
Even so it's true that I should've balanced the difficulty better

Thanks! Yeah I couldn't really balance the difficulty that well lol

Nice game idea, the gameplay was kinda hard at some parts like when there are moving obstacles and you don't really know where to go when it gets dark, but it still came out pretty well!

Very cool game and good selection of music. Some levels felt kinda empty in the beginning parts and some others kinda repetitive, and it also looks like you can't die (?). But the gameplay was very nice, it reminded me a lot of just shapes and beats, and I also liked the undertale references. Good job!

The gameplay and graphics are awesome, and the music is really a banger lol. The player is just a bit too buffed so there isn't really that much challenge, and it also takes a lot to get to the next level. But it was very cool overall!

Awesome graphics and music, and the gameplay is also very challenging! The player's movement reaction is a bit slow I must say, which makes it kinda hard to move according to rhythm and instead making you just smash the space bar to move straight at some parts lol. But still a cool game, well done!

Honestly it's a very nice game and the rhythm is used in an interesting way, but it's just so uncomfortable to have the Z key for jumping, you could've put either W or Space and it would've been waaay easier to play. Still a nice game though, and the lofi music is very nice and chilling!

It's an interesting game, the concept and especially the atmosphere are awesome, but there isn't really that much to the gameplay and it's a shame for the limitation. Still a nice game though! Would certainly become more interesting if you add more things to interact with and continue the story.

Very nice concept and challenging gameplay! The response when moving the mouse wasn't instant and I also would've liked to have more feedback when you die as it isn't really clear when you restart the level, but well done anyways!

Yeah I guess the finger placement is very awkward after all. The gameplay mechanic is taken from Muse Dash which also uses horizontal scrolling and the same keys. I preferred to go with that rather than a 4 keys DDR-style gameplay, but didn't consider the finger placement as I probably was just used to it

Also no haha I didn't think of putting a menu button at the end this time. I just though it wouldn't be that useful but I guess I'll start putting menu buttons again in new games lol

Yeah the thing is I thought of the wave beat as an input that you just press by hearing the beat constantly so you wouldn't really have to see it to know when to press, but I guess it was just easy for me haha

Haha thanks! As I already said, it indeed is not easy lol

Yeah well the red and blue circles are taken from Muse Dash, and I preferred to use them rather than a 4 keys DDR-style gameplay. But I can understand it could feel a bit awkward when compared to the finger placement, thanks for the feedback!

Haha thanks! Yeah as a decently good rhythm gamer I must say I couldn't balance the difficulty that well by myself lol

Great visuals and engaging gameplay! At first I thought just going through the diamonds without any other input wouldn't make the gameplay very challenging, but when it got faster it became a lot better! Good job!

Very simple yet nice game! Would be nice if the sign switch became immediately effective, as sometimes if you switch the sign when the car is right behind it, it won't switch. But other than that it's well done!
