How did you incorprorate the theme?
The player has to split their attention between hitting highway notes, dodging bullets, and defeating enemies. Lines point to highway notes on both sides of the screen creating divergent line patterns and further splitting the player's attention. Lastly the player can condense the galaxy into a single point using a black hole, which is convergent, but its similar.

What an awesome game! It's very challenging making you concentrate both on the space ship dodging the bullets and the beats coming from the sides of the screen, definitely very creative! This also kinda reminds me of Touhou, don't know if you took inspiration from there :)

I need to take an additional pair of eyes to collect blue and red power)

Probably at a playable level, the most fun of the jam.

Good game, I like how you shoot bullets to defeat the enemies, dodge their bullets, and hit the notes on the sides to attack back.

Some feedback would be to make it more easier and noticeable to hit the notes on both the left and right sides because you do have to focus on both dodging and shooting as well!

But yeah, I liked the visuals and sound of the game.

Really like your take on the theme.  I did find it difficulty to focus on the notes and the gameplay, might be a skill issue though lol.  Nice work!

Great music, great visuals, and overall great execution on an interesting concept! Unfortunately on my computer the notes are significantly out of sync, which made it really difficult to play. If you can fix that post-jam, I'd love to revisit and experience your game in its full glory.

Note syncing should be fixed now. There was an issue with the UI scaling. Let me know if there's still syncing issues and I can investigate further. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Very hard but such a unique and amazingly fun idea, the game was also super visually captivating and the music was great, loved it

Great game. Extremely challenging. You have to focus on the beat with the right hand while dodging with the left hand.

I loved the Hyper level. The music is great, the intensity fits the game well. The level is well-balanced, switching between heavy enemies and challenging rhythms.

The nine-seven level is too hard for me, there’s so much going on at once both with enemies and rhythms. I’m unable to cope.

Good that you made 2 songs for different skill levels.

Five stars from me.

I really like this game! The beats definitively DON'T suck!

The game forces the player to decide on what they should focus on, and that's really good in this case! I love how the enemies spawn according to the music! Stronger enemies appear in intense parts, for example.

The visual and sound effects could be more noticeable in my opinion.

Overall a great game!

I think some of the highway note visuals get bugged due to UI scaling, but yeah I've heard some people ask for hit sounds. What other effects and sounds were you thinking?

Submitted(+1)

Not sure, maybe enemy shoot sounds? A normal shoot sound for the enemies that shoot less and a laser sound for the strong enemies that turn the game into a bullet hell.

That's my idea! I hope it helped you!

What an interesting idea! I included it in my Rhythm Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out!

Thank you for checking out the game and playing all the games in the Rhythm Jam!

Amazing game! It took me a while to get going, would have loved a tutorial. Everything just made sense after that though, nice visuals to go along with the theme. + points for black hole sound
