How did you incorprorate the theme?
I looked up the definition and got : "a drawing apart (as of lines extending from a common center)". Which inspired me to make a cirlce with lanes coming out on all sides.

Hey, really nice job on getting in the top 3!
As promised each of the top 3 games is getting a code for Rhythm Engine, so if you want one, please add me on Discord @qer24 <3
Thanks! Ty for hosting, was fun :)
Added you!
Really fun game with a unique take on lane switching!
I liked how in the tutorial song the time stops and the game slowly introduces the mechanics.
For me, it was way too confusing to not use fixed rotation, maybe I would have enabled it by default since I had to remember to press space at the beginning of each song, hahaha!
The game offers a good variety of songs with different difficulties, I started with an Easy one, then climbed up to Normal, Hard and finally I managed to beat an Expert one. Good difficulty progression!
The songs are generally well charted and incorporate the rotating mechanic in a nice way. I also really liked that you get an indication for where the notes are going to fall so you can plan ahead.
Overall, really good job with this one, well done :)!

Great game! It was a bit difficult, but I saw you had a midi loading system so I modded the song from my game into yours and it worked!
That's cool that it worked! I used the 4 first channels to determine the direction they are coming from, so I guess you got most of them in the same direction :D
Ohh interesting. Yeah they all came from the same direction. In my game ("a story of two lines"), I used tracks instead of channels to specify which line a note is for.
But I noticed I still got notes of different lanes (color), how did you determine that?
The colors are from the notation, so I think it was A, B, C and G or something, it was very specific xd
Really great game! I especially liked the little tutorial-like stops. They were really synchronized with the music as well. also everything was very smooth. But it was a bit too hard for a noob for me :D great game well done
Challenging game! I included it in my Rhythm Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out!
Really interesting game and can see being a hardcore, look how fast am I am game.
I preferred playing with lock rotation way more.
Great game and nice work!
I loved the idea. Defintely need a guitar for this one haha. I love the visual indicators when the notes were coming. It was easier for me to fix the camera, but i love that there's the option to choose. I think you could polish the visuals and have a good game to put on Steam to play with a guitar controller.
i did 12 lanes and also the keybind is so weirs
Yea, I wanted to let ppl choose their own keybinding but didn't prioritize it unfortunately. Gonna check out your 12 lanes :D
I really like the wedge design. Normally it can be hard to gauge distance to center compared to distance downward like most rhythm games do, but because the notes shrink as they get closer it makes it pretty clear.
Damn I'd imagine this is probably one of the hardest games in this jam lol, I can't even beat a hard song but I definitely loved the game and concept, and the multitasking gameplay is definitely unique! Another good thing is that it actually did feel like a proper rhythm game with how the song selection menu was made. Great job!
Great game and concept! I think that the songs are pretty hard for sure lol, you have to multi-task to switch lanes to the 4 that you need to go to. I think this game has potential because if you practice enough, I could imagine you would become a pro at this game!
Great Idea! This one should really please the hardcore rhythm gamers. Provides lots of challenge. Good amount of songs too and difficulty levels.
man I wish I wasn't terrible at this game cause it was sooo good, the controls were a bit offputting a but i got used to it soon enough, the idea is unique and the execution is even better, I had a ton of fun with this title and its definetely one of my favourites, loved the music too
