This is a sick game and a great idea. I don't know why I've never seen an arena style platforming survival game before but it works so well! I did have some trouble seeing potions like someone already mentioned but other than that the game is sick!
An idea that may be worth thinking on is giving an incentive for the player to move around the map more. Like maybe a pickup that reduces the timer or something... The potions do a decent job of this but I found that sometimes it was just better to chill in one spot of the arena and focus on dodging things there instead of continuing to move, but moving was the whole fun bit! IDK, just a thought I had. Great work though!
A fun movement game! I could not finish it due to being terrible at it an nearly developing motion sickness halfway through, but it was a lot of fun to play when I got to! i found I didn't need to use the spawnable items much in order to get through the levels, but the spring was useful for when I fell down! Good Game!
This was a very cool game concept. I had some trouble with the camera and the light levels, but it definitely had strong bones, especially for a game jam game. At first I was very confused, but once I figured it out I thought it was very cool to go around collecting cards and getting new moves for my character! Good Job!
I thought this game was great! I like that you can pick up like anything on the map lol. I think I may have accidentally skipped a big portion of the game by stacking all of the rocks on top of each other to directly get to the cat ladies house... but that just shows amazing amounts of player freedom! (please do not hate me for accidentally creating speed-running tech) Anyways, good job on the game!
This is neat! I really liked that every time you do an attack it is a different attack from the last. It was a good twist on the autoshooter arena battler genre. I had a small problem where enemies would get stuck on the little rocks lol, but other than that little hiccup the game worked very well for me and was a good bit of fun!
