Thanks for sharing your process in such detail!! (and sorry for such a late reply, I haven't been on here for a while... lol)

It's pretty cool to see what things you prioritize in your process, and how you organize your tasks based on that. I also try to choose instruments and voices based on what would suit the subject matter the best, but I think my subconscious always wants to stick with traditional sounds that I'm used to, so I'm working on breaking that habit. I really struggle with time efficiency, so I'm definitely going to try out some of your approaches next time! Thanks again for sharing!

Oh HELL yeah. Absolute banger. Each track has its own character that's so distinct from one another. I think this is the coolest submission I've listened to so far, awesome job!!

Hey, you totally did bring me into the picture with this one. It had the perfect amount of ambience, subtlety, gentleness.... man. This was beautiful. Amazing job!!

This was a beautiful soundtrack! It's amazing what you achieved in just a single day, it's made with great quality. Not gonna lie, I got pretty immersed by the end of the calm area music and totally got jumpscared by Urgent Mission, lol. Great job!!!

AMAZING soundtrack!!!! Love, love, love the world building you've done through both the description and, well, your straight up awesome music writing. Definitely one of my favorites for this jam. Thanks for taking me on an adventure through your music!! Cover art is great as well!!

Great soundtrack, and also a great story to go with it! Love the cover art as well!

It's amazing how you made this entirely out of the iOS version of garageband!! I used to mess around with the piano and synths but never actually explored it thoroughly, so hearing the high quality music you've made from the app is making me realize that the thing's much more than just a keyboard to pull out when I'm bored. Thanks for this.

I really, really like your sound palette! You nailed the vibes you were going for with each track too. Great job!!

So, so well produced as always!! You guys did an amazing job!! Loved reading the story while listening as well.

These tracks have such a lovely charm to them, I can totally hear your influences from japanese fantasy works!! I especially like Weathering Trail because the harp, piano and high woodwinds all sprinkled on top of the strings gives it that great wonderous vibe.

This was a great listen. I especially liked track 3, the melancholic vibe hit me pretty good. Totally can hear the C418 inspiration too! Great stuff!!

also, your sense in titles and art perfectly match the music. I love it.

Oh my god. Just the intimate nature of this soundtrack is so great, not to mention your instrument choice and smooooooth chords. Totally can hear the Gris inspiration! I think you did an amazing job, loved every second of it!!

(also i love your bearded dragon pfp)

I really like what you did with Subaquatic Saunter by having it in 5/4 and also having an action version of it!! Also, Methacanthine Chaos is a banger, personal favorite for me. Great job on this!!

This was so well produced and composed, I had so much fun listening to it!! I absolutely loved the lead whistle-y sound, it really tied all the tracks together nicely. AWESOME JOB!!!

This was awesome!! I love how consistent your sound palette was throughout the soundtrack, it really made the listening experience much more immersive as I imagined being in the cold, snowy world you described. Also love how you made a game over track! Great job!!

Love your choice of instruments!! I think you captured the perfect amount of mystique and adventure for a puzzle solving game. It's so cool how many textures you can create in just a single track. Awesome stuff!!

Really cool concept for a game, and also the SOUND DESIGN. WHOA. Your creativity is just top notch. It perfectly portrays the unique bubbly world you described. The orchestra being mostly in the background give a nice gentle cushion for the cool sounds layered on top. Love it!!

What a high energy soundtrack!! It was a lot of fun listening to it, totally can imagine it with a side-scroller. Great work!!

This was so beautifully orchestrated! It has such a cinematic quality to it, as well as a distinct fantasy video game-y vibe. Loved every single second of it!!

Love your melodies!! I especially like the beautifully interlaced orchestral writing in Rolig sjødans. The transition from the gentle nature of the first two tracks to the dark intense feel of Det skremmer meg was unexpected, but wonderful to listen to. Great work!!!

So, so good... I love how you incorporated a live instrument in the music with all the effects and libraries, it really gives the entire thing so much life. It's hard to choose a favorite track out of this one because each one is crafted with so much care!! I think it's between "Here Lies a Village Not Saved" and "Guilt That Fades Away" for me. Definitely one of my favorites for this jam, incredible work as always!!!

Edit: I forgot to comment on the art, holy crap. It's eerily beautiful. It goes so well with the music you created.

I loved your use of percussion in each track!! City Atlarin is my personal favorite for just how beautiful the combination of solo strings and percussion is. (Also love Dr. Kelp for how charming it is, lol) Great work on this one!!!

Also, when I clicked your youtube link I realized that I've been a subscriber to your channel for a while for your brass work. Love those as well :)

The sound combination you came up with here is so great, love it a lot!!! The processed sounds, the effects you added, everything just fits so well here. Great stuff!!!!

Looooooove the percussion you used!!!!!! The entire submission reflects the atmosphere of your description very well. As a Joe Hisaishi/Austin Wintory fan, this was such a great listen. Awesome work!!!

This was beautiful!!! You conveyed the somber/fragile feeling really well with the piano, loved it!!

The diversity!! You got it all, from gentle vibes in Delve Within the Soul to an absolute BANGER in FEARMONGER!! Wow!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to your work, this was great.

LOVED THIS SO MUCH!! There's so much beauty and comfort packed in here. Each layer of sounds added even more depth and wonder on top of each other, and the choice of instruments makes it EVEN BETTER. The chords were hugging my ears man. Amazing work!!!!!

Hell yeah, I dig the analog vibe a LOT!!! I think my personal favorite is the save room. I like that overall the tracks don't have too much going on and sit in the background, yet have so much ambience and atmosphere packed into them. This really stands out to me too since your submission is one of the few horror themed tracks in this jam, so big props to you!! Great work!!

This was truly amazing to listen to, wow!! BLUE is one of the coolest things I've heard so far in terms of imagery and atmosphere, and it reflected your description of the track perfectly. I love it so much that I had to listen to it a few more times. And speaking of descriptions, the story you've created is so fleshed out and detailed, I wish I could see this as a fully developed game!! I got pretty emotional just by reading while listening to each track... lol. The amount of orchestration you do within the jam period is truly insane, I gotta know your composing process. Really, really amazing work!!!!

I think you nailed capturing the atmosphere of each track title within the music! Really nice job!!

Asahi absolutely killed it with the art!! Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!!

Thanks for giving feedback on each track! For the flute and cello combo, I got a lot of inspiration from Michael Kamen's "The New Moon in the Old Moon's Arms," I highly recommend checking it out!

Thanks, getting this stuff performed live would definitely be cool! Funnily enough, in the middle of writing the last track I suddenly realized that what I had sounded a loooot like City of Tears from Hollow Knight, so I listened to it to make sure I wasn't plagiarizing anything lol. I took out the harp that was originally doubling the piano after that.

Thanks for the kind words! For the plugins almost all of the orchestral sounds you hear are from the Cinematic Studio Series. They're great because for such an amazing sounding set of libraries, they don't destroy your bank account haha

Thank you! The Path of Wisdom is my personal favorite as well because I like wind instruments, lol
