Description
My main priority was to make music that closely matched the picture theme by kawaakar._. The game I envisioned was a casual 3D exploration game that takes place underwater - a mix of Spirited Away, Abzu, and Sable.

The story is about a normal girl who suddenly finds herself magically transported to a mystical underwater town. There, she finds that the water spirits who inhabit the town are about to hold their annual fish festival. Trying to find her way back home, she ends up running errands in preparation for the festival-goers, uncovering ancient secrets of the ocean along the way.

Some recurring sounds include: pitched metal percussion, synths, Asian music, minimalism, ambient, and water level music.

1. Dive - Main title theme

2. Seafloor - Loop for underwater town and day exploration

3. Abyss - Loop for caves and night exploration

4. Fish Festival - Loop for the annual fish festival where fish dance around wildly

5. Trinket - Theme when she discovers a magic pearl and later when she receives farewell gifts

This soundtrack was beautiful. I loved all the instrumentation and the themes are just wonderful!

Tranquil and profound, with a sense of dreamlike essence, this reminds me of Monument Valley. It`s great!

This was so pretty!! The first two songs especially stuck out to me in the way some of the major location themes in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild do, with those gorgeous atmospheric elements paired with intermittent but powerful melodic lines that make the experience that much more beautiful. I loved the playfulness in the Fish Festival too, overall really enjoyable! Great work,

Music box time!

It was a wonderful and well-made ambient that performs its tasks well! The effects, instruments and overall atmosphere are cool!

P.S. I love the description of the Fish Festival, heh)

P.S.S Beautiful cover art photo)

Very impressive use of colours in this soundworld with a lovely sense of atmosphere. There is a really soothing feel to each track, even in busier moments, and there is a clear cohesiveness through the OST. Overall this is really well put together :)

Looooooove the percussion you used!!!!!! The entire submission reflects the atmosphere of your description very well. As a Joe Hisaishi/Austin Wintory fan, this was such a great listen. Awesome work!!!

some absolutely beautiful music here throughout, love the sound design/selection, percussion, melodies and everything to be honest!

completely fits both the theme and the kind of game you've described, each track is also perfect for its title.

can really hear your influences shining through nicely too whilst still retaining your own musical identity.

good job with the mix on all the tracks also.

impossible to pick a favourite!

All the percussion was so nice! Mallets abounding too! Peak Instrument selection!

Wow, those percussions (including the effects) transport you to another dimension. Everything is so dreamy and relaxing. The second track enhances this sensation even more with the addition of typical orchestral instruments mixed with excellent use of sound design: background details, ethereal pads, perfectly executed arpeggios (including a very balanced and clean mix free of annoying resonances). The theme of the abyss, in some ways, reminds me of a game in the style of ABZU: calm and exploratory, with similar background music, it would be perfect (I might have improved the ending with a harmonic closure rather than just fading out). Perhaps you could have added a track that set a different mood within the storyline; I would have been curious to see how you would have tied the originality of the OST to a less static scene. Nonetheless, beyond that, it's truly a great piece of work that deserves praise! Well done.

You created wonderful atmospheres. Excellent work!!!

Loved the new age kind of harmony that sometimes arises.

I'm very curious about the pitched metal percussion you use, it sounds really beautiful.

Thank you! I wanted each track to have a unique character, so they each feature different metal percussion:
Dive - gamelan, Seafloor - tongue drum, Abyss - celesta, Fish Festival - marimba and vibes (marimba is wood, but still fitting), Trinket - music box and kalimba

Loved the soundtrack! Spectacularly mixed and produced. My favorite track was "Seafloor". Great work!

Really appeasing! Love "Fish Festival" for the use of marimba rhythm!! "Trinket is a great last track and it ends perfectly the story you told us about!

Dive: I always love the i-bVII-bIII movement for water tracks. So pretty. Full atmosphere.

Seafloor: Serene. Love the progression.

Abyss: Darker tone while still feeling gentle like the rest of the OST.

Fish Festival: Great perc! Love how it builds up.

Trinket: Very gentle end to the OST. Love the chord choices for the resolution.

Great fit to the theme, great work!

The soundscape you’ve created is perfection! Wonderfully mixed and orchestrated. This was an absolute delight to listen to. Huge fan of the underlying pads used throughout the soundtrack!

One of those submissions when you hear first 10 seconds and already know it will be great. Love the underwater vibe, lot of percussions. Great stuff! :)

Love the overall vibe here! I wish I could hear more stretched out versions of most of these. You’ve got the ideas; I just want moar. Underwater vibes are great and super helpful in making the overall identity of the work!

Everything sounds amazing. It all has a great calming vibe. The layering of all the sounds is spectacular, and everything sounds very intricate while still sounding spacious and ambient.

Really nice arrangements and sound design!  Think you fit the theme very well, loved your instrumentations and the general pace of each track, really made it feel like I was exploring an ancient underwater civilization!
