Super cool game! I love the idea!

The UI looks really well done and polished, congrats on that part. The monsters looks great, the doors, all the art works looks good for the game.

The concept of the game is really interesting. I like trying to fight enemies, getting stronger, getting items, etc. It's a cool idea.

One issue I found is that once you pass a certain threshold (to say something), some enemies can't do anything anymore to you. For example the skeleton. Once you can beat it without losing any health, this will stay like this for the rest of the run. You get stronger until it gets to a point where you are stronger than everything else, rendering obsolete most monsters. If monsters could get stronger, or even stronger monsters could appear as you advance, that could be really good. I say this cause by door 15 more or less most enemies couldn't even hit me.

Unfortunately the game crashed for me at door 40 :(

Super good! We really went for similar approaches! I felt like I was playing a possible version of my game lmao. The art in yours is really great, I love it. The music feels good too. The puzzles were smart and fun to play, and the reward was worth it.

I don't know if the second door had some indications that I didn't see, but I had to look at the description. If there is no hint in game, that would be a good addition. This is something I also struggled with in my game, and people pointed it out! It's always important to have indications in puzzles.

Amazed by your game :D

wow! the ambience and setting is amazing! I really kept wondering if something was around the corner. Being in an asylum reminded me of games like outlast, pretty creepy! The puzzle was great to solve.

I want to say that the UI was a little bit out of resolution, I couldn't see really well some things cause they were cut :(

Amazing game!

Super scary! Loved playing this!

I really like the survival aspect you gave the game, with nights being dangerous and day being safe. It's exciting and scary to be out, gathering resources before the night comes with the monster! The idea is simple but it's really effective.

I think that making nightfall a little bit more progressive, not necessarily longer, but with more signs that it's getting dark. It kinda just gets dark super fast without too much time to react. If you were out in the woods you probably will be chased by the monster. If you had more signs, you could have that moment of "Do I have enough time?", "Do I push it?", etc. I think that would be amazing!

thanks for this submission!

Really fun game!

The art looks amazing, it has a lot of personality. Congrats on that part! I would have loved to have some music and SFX, cause it feels weird playing with none of that. I also really like the animations. Specially the reloading animation, I love how the gun spins around lmao. In general the shooting feels great, and it's fun.

However, it does get repetitive. There's only one type of enemy, and the levels don't vary much more than night and day. Having some different enemies, traps, things like that would spice things up.

Something else I'd like to mention is that when you spawn sometimes you do so in top of enemies which feels weird. Also, a lot of enemies got stuck in walls!

If you wish to expand your game in the future, I'd consider adding some twist to the gameplay so that you can differentiate your game from other roguelites!

Super fun experience :D

this was fun! I really like the idea :). What a shame that you didn't have as many days as you could have, same happened to me.

Still, the concept is good and it would work if fully fleshed out. Stealing stuff is fun!

Of course, there isn't much to rob at this point, but still. I have to say that giving some tutorial to how the lockpick works would be great, because I had no way of knowing exactly what to do. Even some text would work really.

Congrats on the submissions!

thanks for the feedback. A lot of people have told me about the hints!

Sure I'll check you out :D I always do 1 for 1!

Hey! It seems that you have created an html & typescript game but have uploaded the separate files to it. Do you think you could upload yourself a WebGL version or however that works? That way we don't have to do it ourselves!

Super cool game!

It all looks and feels amazing! I'm impressed that you could do all of this in just one week. It looks super clean, has a lot of personality, it all fits together really nice... congrats!

I love the 20 minutes til dawn vibes. I really like these kind of games. The upgrades are fun, there are multiple enemies to fight, overall it's a really fun experience. Super cool.

I would have liked to see some more crowd control upgrades. Multiple times it happened to me that I had an enormous blob of enemies simply because my upgrades weren't great for dealing with large amounts of enemies! Apart from that, the only thing that I can say is that the player hitbox is a bit unfair. I was hit at times where I was 100% certain I wasn't touching the enemy!

This was an 10/10 game and would love to see it be expanded on!

the question itself is fine! In fact it is fun. It's mostly in the answers where you could change it. As it's mathematically undefined, one option is that any door could be correct. Or, you could add something like a "?" door. It does depend on where you'd like to take the theme. You could go for more wacky questions that either don't make sense or are too difficult, and play instead with comical answers. Like, "what's  Σ e(n-1)^2 + 3?", and the answers are just jokes. That could be another fun take of this!

Amazing game!

It's super chill and beautiful, a 10/10 for sure. Had a lot of fun playing it. It's simple but really entertaining. The music is calming, and the SFW also sound really well produced. The arts looks amazing, for real. It all looks really well put together, it plays nice, it feels nice, everything. It feels like a demo for a full game tbh.

Would love to see new tiles with new effects added! And new rabbits!

I would consider though to add some sort of automation, at least for the later mid game. For example the mid flag achievement. It starts to get a little tedious and repetitive having to click on 200 rabbits,

Super fun experience, please expand on it!

Congrats on the submission!!

Loved the idea and how you added some narrative story to it. It really works well to immerse you a little bit more. It's simple but the detail is appreciated. The art design is also really good! I only wished it were longer <3

Amazing game! I loved playing it. Didn't expect it to be so good but wow it surprised me! I looved the defense style of game, and upgrading turrets and all. It was suuper fun. Aaaand, behind the door is a boss! That was awesome. I was already having fun with the game and didn't expect anything more at the final stages and then bam, boss for ya.

The art and music are really good. The design is really thought out too. I love how different doors star spawning at certain points, they bring new things to the table and that's cool.

Loved it!

This was a fun math game! It was simple but still, the idea is good.

One problem I found is that there's a puzzle you always get to that is 1% 0 and you can actually lose when the equation is simply undefined and doesn't equal anything. Also, something kind of weird happened to me: after by luck I passed the 1 % 0 question, I for some reason spawned in game as if it was a 3D first person game... Like, is this a deliberate choice??? Cause if it is, it'd be a pretty weird one lol, and I don't know what to say about it. And if it's a bug, I can't fathom what could cause it! This is what I mean:

Adding a time could be good to, or giving you more points the less time you take to answer. Things like that would really spice things up!

Congrats on the submission!

Super fun experience! And what a great concept! Had lot of fun playing through the levels, and the idea of not actually opening the door is genius.

The puzzles were challenging, which I like. You brought a lot of different mechanics and played around with them, which is great. Each puzzle feels very different because they all use these different mechanics differently. That's super good! Audio and SFX were really good too!

Overall a super fun experience!

Thanks

I really like the idea of the game! Having to compete against a creepy clown is a cool concept. However, as others said there are quite some bugs in the game. Some are fun, but others make it unplayable. Like, after each time the clown is shot, it got closer to me for some reason, until it was behind me. Buuut, the game would sometimes end out of the blue for me. The restart button doesn't work in my case!

Some explanation of what some items do would be good! I still don't know what the stethoscope does :/

Things like these really affect gameplay, but I enjoyed playing nonetheless!

Lovely idea! Extra points for letting us pet doggy!

It was a super fun experience. I think you've designed it really well. I like how the game looks and the music is really good too, congrats. The idea is super good too, I think a lot of use have been in this position X(.

Really great stuff!

Really great game!

The concept of surviving with caffeine and using doors to battle enemies is really good! It was really fun running around beating robot co workers. The art and music look really well put together.

I have to say, like others, that difficulty is a little bit too high. One of the major problems is that the amount of time that it generally takes to clear a room is higher than the hp up the coffee gives you when you clear it. So, you're constantly going lower and lower, that is if you don't get hit. There are very few rooms which have extra coffees lying around for you to get. I think that adding more of these, and potentially dropping more than just one coffee after clearing a room would do great.

I really liked the idea of having two types of door, one big and slow that does a lot of damage, and one small and fast that does less damage. However, I have to admit that the combat didn't feel that comfortable to me. Sometimes I found it hard to swing my door and hit enemies.

Overall, really great game!

Hey! I can't seem to find any way to run the game :/. There aren't any executables or anything in the .zip.

I really like the concept idea. It feels like a type of Papers Please! game, which I really like, It is really fun to question people and find who they are. I'm impressed by the art that you created, it was only one weak but the whole scene has a lot of personality! Congrats on that.

I do think that a tutorial pointing out what exactly to do would be good. My first comment was saying that the game wasn't working, but I had no way of knowing that I had to click the bouncer in order to get a new alien to come. I stumbled upon it by accident. Even simply mentioning it would be better. Some of the props are a little janky too. Sometimes I try to move the drug tests and they snap back to their position. It's nothing that affects the gameplay but it looks weird.

Adding some music and SFX would be good too. We're outside of a party on the street!

Overall, I really liked the idea. Would love to see it expanded upon!

Really fun memory game! Reminds me of games I played long ago. The graphics are super cute, you did really well on that! I really like how you have to drag stuff around and place it yourself how you remember it. Many memory games are just clicking stuff. This was lovely instead!

Awesome!

Hey! Unfortunately neither the browser nor the PC version worked for me. The inputs don't seem to be working. I'm playing on Windows and Opera btw. If anything got a fix it'd be much appreciated!

Really great! The music is really good, congrats on that.

I love the concept, it reminds me of games like papers please. It hurts having to burn crew members alive :(. It would be amazing if there was some dialogue, maybe them trying to convince you that it's all okay or something. That would be wild! I also love that there are multiple endings, so it's not just a game over screen, it matters what happens.

Overall the design of the game is really well done. It's entertaining, and the feeling of helplessness is well achieved. Congrats on this!

I have to mention that the UI in my case had some problems. At cutscenes, the resolution was higher than my screen so the text was cut and I couldn't read everything. In game, some things were overlapping each other:

The name of each indicator for example. I could deduce which one each of them is, but it does look a little janky.

I would also like to mention that as of now, the game is a tad to easy. If you decide to expand this game that would be something I'd look into. The thing is, because letting someone in boils down to whether the parasite is specifically in their brain or not, you can just simply skip over everything and just check with the x rays the head. No parasite? In. Parasite? Heal or Burn. I tried it and could get al the fuel without losing even a quarter of the oxygen. I was just clicking on the x ray and checking that. Maybe if you let someone in with a parasite there's more chance of other crewmembers getting infected, or maybe they start behaving badly and are uncooperative, etc. Something to add more tension, twists to this.

I loved this game and would love to see it be expanded on!

This was really cool! I only wish it was longer!

The idea  / concept is really cool, and really gives you the option to play around and create many interesting puzzle designs. It's simple and effective! The art is really cute and I think it fits the theme well. Some music or SFX could be nice too. I am amazed by the fact that you made this in HTML and typescript, it's fun to see someone use something else entirely apart from a game engine! It gives way to different takes and design choices which is awesome.

Congrats!

Amazing game! It design felt really polished, and I had a lot of fun playing through the puzzles. It had a nice mix of fun and scary!

I like the different kind of doors and how they behave different. They are really interesting mechanics for a puzzle game! The puzzles designs were good too. Adding the scary element to it, and playing with lighting is a really cool idea. Aaand, it really spices things up not knowing if there's a ghost around the corner!

The only thing that I want to note is that it wasn't that clear to me exactly how ghosts work. I tested it around in the template room but couldn't quite figure it out. Of course, the ghost chases you and tries to hit you until it kills you, that's obvious. But then comes the flashlight. In the intro it's introduced as a way to "fend of" against the ghosts, but despite this, pointing the violet flashlight to a ghost didn't really seem to do much except change their sprites in a PacMan way. They would still follow me, and even hit me if they get to me. That is a little confusing really. If it's something to fend off the ghosts why can they still hit me you know? Then I thought well maybe you have to point it at them for a couple seconds until they leave, but this behavior happens regardless if you use the flashlight or not. After a couple seconds chasing they always turn black and leave. Sooooo, in the end I'm not really sure what the special flashlight does :(.

Anyway, this was a really fun experience!

Wow, this was really great! I think it's kinda hard, but it's super fun.  There's a lot of stuff to check, and there's a big difference in difficulty sometimes. The food was always easy for me but man the packages took me forever! You do learn and get better though :)

I loved how you decided to have the option to take out your phone, and that you physically have to turn around to look at your computer. They are simple things, but it works to immerse you AND it confuses you a little bit, which works wonders here.

Amazing stuff!

Super fun game! It was simple, but entertaining. I really liked trying to open all of the final doors.

I have to say the amount of bloom is a little too much for me, but still, good artwork overall!

Another thing to consider, is that while I enjoyed finding all the final doors, have two of the three doors at the first level make you restart feels a little counterproductive. You're making me do the same thing again, but I didn't even experience any ending. It just feels frustrating! Having to restart twice in order to get one more door takes some of the fun out it unfortunately.

I had a lot of fun though, the comedy was great!

Simply amazing! This truly feels like a demo for a full game! You could definitely release to steam as an early access and people would dig it. Seriously!

The fast paced movement, the way you glide through the level, shooting and getting upgrades, is super enjoyable. There many different enemies with different behaviors, making it mechanically really interesting. Instead of just having one or two enemies that boil down to small & weak and big & strong , there are ranged units, units that jump trying to ambush you, others that explode, wow!

The art style of the game looks amazing. I'm impressed by what you have made. It looks super clean and you managed to create something unique and with personality. The music goes really well with the game as well. I love how it's all calm when the gates are closed, but as soon as you open them, the beat starts playing again. It matches so well the feel of the game!

Honestly, the only thing I'd like to top it all off, the cherry on top of the cake, would be a boss type enemy. You should definitely consider that if you keep designing this game.

Honestly, and again, simply amazing! Easily my favorite so far. Definitely give us a shout if you expand on it and make a full release!

This was an amazing game! Super fun! It's so smart to spawn items from a room and trying to guess which one it is and then select the ones adjacent to it. Never would have expected it! The concept is amazing, really.

But the delivery is what its best.  The design looks incredibly well thought out. The art style and music both are amazing. And it's so entertaining to move the mouse and throw everything around you, so satisfying! I had a lot of fun just doing that lmao. The UI and how you interact with the game is some of the best I've seen here. It all feels so well integrated into each other! Like, you select a button to go to the guide, and you then have to knock the door. The fact that you have to open the door to go where you want to is genius. It really feels like it's all there together, well planned and crafted coherently.

The core game idea is fun too. It's challenging, and you can have fun trying to learn what each room has. I understand that it may be difficult, and I do agree that giving the player the floor plan might help. Though, I understand why you didn't. After I played a while and had an idea of what each room had and where they communicated to, I looked at the floor plan and it kinda dumbs things down. Given that there's only one floor, knowing its layout makes it super easy to progress. I understand that giving the player access at all times (maybe having it at a corner of the screen) would only work if you could procedurally generate new floors, so you can't memorize them. As it is, I think it's fine the way you left it.

I really like how it gets progressively challenging too. I think you nailed it. First with having more and more stuff and the one type that there's the most is the actual room. That's smart! And then you play with lighting! It's really well designed.

I enjoyed this a lot, thanks for this!

This was amazing! Love the twist of having to find the doors in order to progress, really innovative!

One of the best things about the game is how you progressively introduced mechanics to the game so that the player can understand them. It's so much better than simply giving the player a list of rules and things you can do at the start of the level, cause you usually forget them. Here by the point you get to the later levels, you already know everything because you've already used it not because you told us. That's great puzzle design!

Apart from that, I feel like the mechanics themselves were well put together. It's nothing out of the ordinary, with levers and buttons, etc, but you blended them together well and the puzzles feel coherent, not just a bunch of mechanics thrown together.

The art design is super cool! I love it! Don't know if you did them or not, but still, the level layouts were well put together too. The music and SFX also helped!

Overall I had a lot of fun. Not gonna lie, I did find the puzzles a little to easy, so if you decide to go further I'd like to see more challenging ones!!!

Congrats!

Had a lot of fun! It's simple yet very effective. I really like the "defend something against waves of enemies" style of games. I played a lot of dungeon defenders lmao.

The art looks really good, I think it matches the simplicity of the game. Audio and SFX are also really good!

I liked how there are multiple enemies and it's not just one type in high numbers. Adding more types like one with ranged attacks could work well! The simple attack mechanic works well for the small game, but I always love to have something extra to spice things up (or if you wish to expand the game). A dash ability that also does damage for  example. Or abilities! Throwing a fireball, an AoE attack, etc. That would work wonders and really make me want to keep playing!

I also want to note that you can kind of cheese it. You can stay at the door and press space like crazy and probably you'll win. And obviously, lots of player will do this cause that's just how we work. Maybe adding something like a stun if you take damage could push you to move around trying to kill enemies before they gather up against the door.

Super cool game, would really like to see you expand on it!

Amazing idea! The setting is really cool, and the concept of the game is really entertaining. The audio and SFX design is top tier, it really sets the spook / scary ambience, and I love it! Really well done. The core gameplay is simple, and interesting at first. However, it does get a little bit repetitive. After all, you're still just comparing statues with yourself, just with more or less amount of them. The creatures are a nice addition but they don't really change much gameplay wise, so it's not that relevant.

It's a little bit unclear just how much the statue has to look like you. I think that clearing that up in-game with images would work a lot better. There are some statues whose face is just slightly more squared than yours, and some eyes are just one pixel lower. It sounds obvious when written but when looking at it people might think that it's similar enough, like I did at first.

Really liked the concept though, I had a lot of fun!

Loved it!!! It found it a little bit hard (playing on laptop with no mouse unfortunately), but super enjoyable. I like getting the new powers one at a time, so you understand what each of them does. The art style fits the game very well. I looved how you designed the death zone, as in the lemons are "falling into the pie" or "falling into the grater". This is sooo much better than just having a dark void where the lemons fall to. It makes their death a little bit fun!

The audio and art are very well designed, congrats on that!

I do have to mention that there are some UI problems. For example before starting, I couldn't really see what keys each power used, though thankfully the game shows them while playing. But mostly the issue is when you finish the level. The texts overlap each other and it's difficult to read, and it doesn't look that good!

Congrats on the submission <3

This was suuper entertaining! It was simple, but it works wonders honestly. It's challening but it's also really fun. There's something so funny about accidently hitting someone in the face cause you're knocking like a madman! I like how getting a signature gives you some time, cause feasibly you could keep going indefinetely if you get good enough. Although I always just punched one or two simply for the sake of it not gonna lie.

The art is amazing! Respects on that. It really fits the game, looks good, and has personality. The audio design is nice too!

Loved it! I really liked how you turned Monty's hall problem/paradox into a game! It's simple but I really enjoyed it. Aaaand, it also works to teach people this concept! Double points for that. I love the old windows art style, it looks super good, and I feel like I'm back in 2004 playing pinball in my family laptop. The audio matches the vibe really well too.

I just have one question, is the game coded so that if you swap your choice, you always get the golden calf? Cause it always happened, even when the odds where against me with many doors! If this is the case it's gonna be a little easy for people who know this problem like me. I guess in that case the game would be much more suited for people who don't know how this works, and therefore will be tempted to keep their initial choice and not swap it.

Still, even if that's the case, it's an enjoyable game :D

This has been one of my favorite submissions so far! I have always been addicted to these kind of games of progressively getting more and more multipliers and getting absurd numbers! This was really well done, so thank you for the experience. The art looks good, the music sounds good too, and the descriptions were really fun. The idea of naming the currency "curiosity", given the theme, honestly just made me laugh. It's so great, I love it!

One of the best parts is that you managed to create from this style of games something really interactive. A lot of time these incremenetal games get to a point in which you don't have to do anything, just watch and wait. This is fine obviously, but I appreciate the switch in gameplay. Having to control multiple minigames at the same time was simply genius man! congrats! It gets a little crazy controlling everything, and then I tried to do combos with the difficulty setting and the radioactive thingy which resets all minigames. Simply awesome. It was a really good experience. The ideas that you had were fun, smart and enjoyable.

My only note is that numbers get too high too quickly. They always do in these games, but here already at the fourth door you can see it costs 3.000e4. So you're already leaning to scientific notation! It feels like you don't have enough time to savor those early stages in which you earn almost nothing, and as you slowly build up, but only after a while, numbers start getting absurd. Kind of like in cookie clicker but in a much shorter time frame. I probably would slow the progress down, make the first doors give less curiosity, and let it build up. And also, I would only lean to scientific notation after the billions. Most people can easily recognize up to the millions and tenths of millions, so the build up looks so much better. Only then you go to that famous e

Amazing game!

Fun experience!

I did find multiple areas that were empty, adding some more enemies would add more tension. And maybe more types of enemies too! A ranged one i.e. I think the most important thing to add though is some sort of score, cause as it is there isn't as much of as an objective. With a score like enemies killed, that would push players to do better!

Really cool idea!

The art style is really good, the simplicity really works well here. It's simple but entertaining. The survival aspect of it is very interesting! The combat design could use some different mechanics. It's difficult to hit an enemy without getting hit for example, and when enemies start piling up it gets impossible. Dashes, blocking, or stuns could work well here. Especially since enemies appear pretty early on, and if you're not super quick you won't have what you need. With better combat you could face more enemies and lengthen your run.

I did find it quite hard to play! I liked the challenge. However, I have to say that it's easy to outrun your enemies. You can't do anything else, but you stay alive. Though this is hardly the best for gameplay.

Loved it! Liked it a lot <3
