That's really encouraging to hear that you played our game long enough to reach that point! Totally agreed, we didn't budget enough time to create good intuitive user explanations and that's probably our biggest takeaway for next year 馃憤馃徏 But very glad you had fun playing it, as I have!

Thanks for your encouraging feedback! Haha yeah you're right, I appreciate that you played our game long enough to find that balance issue! I've replayed it many times and enjoyed trying to find the minimum amount of money I can possibly spend while still reaching infinite endgame. Eventually, you need some AOE and the archers don't cut it, but they're super strong for the first few minutes!

Thank you! We downloaded a free art pack (credited on the main screen), but I made the music myself 馃榿

*EDIT* Yep, that fixed it! I just played it on my bigger monitor and it worked!

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's a screen size problem, based on the screenshots I'm seeing on your page (I can't see the "Buy" button). I'll see if I can figure it out otherwise I'll just have to not rate it. Thanks! :)

Sorry to hear that! Sometimes it can happen that way if you get unlucky, it's something we'd like to improve.  Lol no it's not Planet Express, but that's a really good observation actually, I wish I'd intended that! Great show!

Well made, the controls weren't frustrating like many game jam platformers. I might have liked to see something where you're supposed to let one guy "hang" from the other, but otherwise pretty fun.

I beat all 8 levels but would say the controls are too picky for my liking. Probably like 50+ deaths, I'd have rather seen more difficult levels with a slower moving ball. It's simple though which is nice!

*EDIT* Problem solved - I was using too small of a screen (buttons at the bottom were off-screen)

I won't rate yet bc I can't figure out how to make anything happen... please explain the controls? I'd normally rate low because it seems broken but judging by the comments it should be working and it looks fun so I want to play it.

My only complaint is that it was very difficult and took me a long time to beat the whole thing lol... otherwise very good stuff!!!

I like it, sounds like a great solution! Hope it works out well!

Very good presentation! Only real complaint I would have is that winning almost felt more like luck than skill or strategy since the rock and enemies all move so quickly... otherwise very good!

Solid! Well done! It felt a little interrupting to have to walk and jump around to change between power ups, but that's a minor complaint for an otherwise cool mechanic!

Looks pretty, but very similar to Doodle Jump tbh. Touch controls were cool

Good game, simple but well executed.  Not tremendously original, but fun.

Nice graphics and funny idea, but the controls were pretty brutal tbh. Would prefer smoother controls with less time per level to compensate. Original!

Was a lot of fun, I like these "builder" types of games. Kind of finicky and the wheels felt fairly weak but besides some wanted polish it's a nice fun game!

Well-made game, I was slightly frustrated at times but not enough to stop playing until I'd completed it both ways! It was cool trying to figure out where I could go next with my new additional move. The Wizard was a bit confusing, I didn't know how/if I could kill him (or what he was, besides probably something bad). I tried dashing and he said "you can't just run into me" so then I figured sprinting wouldn't work, but it did... *shrug* but otherwise fun level design which expands as you unlock territory!

Thanks a lot! Our artists really went all-out, that's for sure haha. It  would be fun to continue, maybe we will!

Thanks! We appreciate the feedback. Good to know about the leaf too, maybe we can figure out what causes that.

Thanks so much for the compliments! This is the first project any of us has worked on so we really appreciate the encouragement and hopefully it will inspire us to continue! Have a great day.

Thanks! Hahaha, yeah... a surprising number of people have found that one specific bug so far. That's the only one we know of at this point, but that missing wall was definitely an oops on our part lol.

Thanks, much appreciated!

Thanks for the comment, person who I definitely do not know and have never met before (*cough* Tyler *cough*). Too bad you were getting your wisdom teeth pulled during the 48 hours!

Also what a coincidence that out of the thousands of submissions your Firefighter game was in my play queue and I was the guy who enjoyed it much more after you replied to my comment and explained the controls haha!

Thanks, much appreciated! Really glad that you enjoyed what we made so far; we'd love to have more content as well. : )

Ok! I tried it again and it still took me a while to figure out controls (felt like a lot of key presses without good intuition of how to do things) but after several minutes I got it working fairly well. The music is very nice and relaxing and the sound effects are great too.  Game idea was cool and various screens implemented are nice to see (level complete, grade, etc). It still lost points for fun because of the seemingly high number of control inputs and I could only figure out how to place water to the tile right of me, which is kind of annoying. I changed my rating though, scoring things higher than before thanks to your explanation of controls. : ) Hope you had fun making it!

Thanks a lot! We appreciate even being compared to a game that legendary haha. Here's to 30 more levels!

Thanks for the compliments and feedback! We'd definitely like to expand on the gameplay if we decide to continue with this game. It's the first project any of us has worked on, so we decided to keep it simple for now. :)

Fun 3D shoot-to-move with a cool reload

Art is extremely good, and there's a high number of animations on top of that. Gameplay is ok, not super fun imo, but visually polished.

The camera work is nice. Hope you had fun!

Funny writing! Doesn't feel like much of  a "game" though... I didn't really feel compelled to answer more than a couple of questions tbh

The "unable to rotate" mechanic was pretty cool. Both the bullet and enemy attack hitboxes felt unforgiving though, this was pretty difficult.

I like that it has a story and the music is cool. I would like a bigger field of view for the platforming section to see where I need to go.

The narrow field of view may be by choice, although I found it annoying because it was difficult to see and plan where I wanted to go. Glad to see you learned to make all the different object types (coins, switches, spikes, boosts, etc), and the edge-climbing assist was the best part.

The story was funny but I ended up playing for a while just to see if there was more and then when there wasn't I realized I'd wasted a couple minutes. The gameplay doesn't yet feel like it's made to be played for an extended amount of time.

Really good animations and visuals. Soundtrack is nice too - fits the theme well. Gameplay felt a little tough/limited but I'm also kinda bad and it would be hard to polish more than this in 48 hours. Nice work!

Thanks! C:

I echo ocdshiro's comment, I was going to say the visuals are nice but I don't know how to play (if you do play, or if you just watch the scenarios play out). If you're watching them play out, I might suggest things move more frequently so that more happens? Looks nice though and seems like it could be fun!

I played something like 13 levels, I didn't really get how them running around affected your ability to play the game? Kinda had to guess what I was supposed to do, although I think(?) I figured it out? The medal at level 10 was noice. Music and sound effects were enjoyable and fitting and the animation was extremely on point.
