Totally understand. I had to work all weekend so I only ended up with a few hours to put this together. A retry button was at the top of the list of things I didn't get to, along with sfx and more design variety. Thanks for playing!

With some polish and effects, this could be a very popular game. It's a great concept.

Thanks for playing! That was one of my inspirations!

Sorry you weren't able to load it! The skybox is really high rez and I wonder if that's causing issues :/

GOTY

Really cool concept! Voice acting is a nice touch, especially for a short jam like this. But I think Asteroids was right in having the ship rotate and not the camera.  :)

Also on restart I seem unable to move, gotta refresh the browser instead.

It took me a minute to realize what I needed to shoot.

This would be a great concept to expand out! Separate it into seed guns and harvesting guns and add some other farming sim elements. Could be like an agricultural version of Slime Rancher!

The timing could be the slightest bit more forgiving I think but super well executed!

A little confusing but so unique!

Nicely done! Could use a bit stronger gravity, but I loved the sound and presentation!

Reminds me in a way of Papers, Please.

Very clean look! Nice aesthetic.

Love the use of particles and shaders!! Shame it's getting stuck.

Will do!

Loved the music and presentation! It was a bit confusing having 4 health and only 3 icons but I'm guessing that was a typo in code.

That was really fun! I suggest adding some of those wall mounted guns from the tutorial to the entrance to the vault so you have to stop time to get through them every time you go in and out.

Chip's Challenge vibes!

This is so much fun and I love the player sprite! My only suggestion is is that players should lose whatever gold and mana they don't spend when they start the next round (You'll need to adjust the economy accordingly). This forces players to progress, otherwise players can just grind blowing up the first building over and over and unlock every upgrade.

This is awesome! Tip for the drawing layers, set the sprites position.z to their position.y so it will draw them in front of each other correctly. There may be other ways to do this in Unity too that I'm not aware of, I haven't made anything 2D in it yet.

Really clever idea and good execution! Look up some tutorials on scaleable UI and also building for WebGL and that should take care of most of the problems you had with the WebGL build!

Your WebGL build isn't launching, make sure the Build and TemplateData folders and Index.html are all in your Zip file before you upload it.

I wasn't sure what to do after activating all 8 towers, but the remote controlled missiles were super fun to control! Also the airplane and helicopter models were really great!

Oh man those sprites are so cool!

I had the opposite problem of the others, after I got too many robbers their heat bar wouldn't go back down. Really fun though! Good twist on the idle-managing genre!

This is only my second game in Unity and my first with any real movement, but now I know for next time!

I realize now that a clamp would have worked perfectly to keep the character onscreen, but hindsight is 20/20!

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks!! You're probably right about Vandal Time but if you wanna get to 500+ points it's definitely integral.

Thanks for playing! The timescale 0 would break the rigidbody method I was using to keep the character in bounds and cause you to get stuck and my backup position limit method would get you stuck as well so I just removed it due to the time constraint. And I totally agree about the perspective, however if I changed it to perspective a lot more would be visible and again I didn't have the time to model more stuff. Creating the paper physics took like 1/3 of the weekend lol.

Thanks! The paper is actually a line renderer that I wrote the physics into myself.

Wow that had some really difficult parts! I gotta say the controls felt a lot more natural on a controller. Great level design and I love the old school style.

"Cops are to be avoided"

Wow it's very sad if you finish without your ducklings. Love the sprites!

I have reached enlightenment! Wonderful art and worldbuilding!

The style with the bloom and film grain is really cool!

Some SERIOUSLY good level design concepts here. Game me Celeste vibes.

I can't beat #10 but my brain is fried after the Jam. Will come back fresh tomorrow.

Love the music and characters!
