Hey, the game definitely stands out with a more narrative approach! As has been mentioned before, some of the dialogues could be cut a little bit, but overall the effect is good.
I think what was a bit annoying when it comes to the gameplay is not being able to use wasd keys, as that is basically a muscle memory to me :)
Hey, I really like the creativity behind the controls, that is something really different from the usual wasd controls! It got quite intense trying to use the mouse, but that was also really rewarding.
I think though that the car maybe accelerates too fast? I found myself have to go forward, reverse, go forward again, as I was going past the passanger a few times. Also, it would be useful to have some sort of map, or directions where to drop them off, as otherwise it's difficult to guess where to go at all (but that's at least my personal opinion).
But overall a great game, very engaging :)
Hello, the idea looks quite cool and different, but I couldn't play through it due to errors.
The web version doesn't allow me to do anything (some error message pops up), while the downloaded new version already has "left" and "right" assigned, therefore not allowing me to move.
I do like the creativity behind it though, and the fact that you have to be a bit more "tactical" with your moves :) It would be cool to try it out without any issues.
Of course if you say it's not water I have to test it... xD
Quite a fun game, especially with the little enemies being small enough to provide more of a challenge rather than having too big, easy to target enemies.
I think it would be useful to have some sort of a timer, or direction to head towards? As I didn't know when or where to expect the ship, which made me a bit confused.
Hey, first I would like to say that the idea is hilarious :) Especially the ending farting effect.
I did have the same issue as "henryNorthway" though, where I was running and collecting stuff around, but the character kept on moving after clicking on the hot dog stand.
Also, I think that having a mouse sensitivity change option could help, as for me it was way too sensitive.
+ the people falling down in the end.. it was great.
Hey, first of all, cool idea! Even though the movement was quite floaty (especially with some weird effect that when I was grappling something on the ground I was ending up levitating near the ceiling) - it has a charm to it with feeling less gravity.
I did hear the initial sequence, but must admit that it feels a bit long. Even though the narrative was good, it did take some time before starting the game. Maybe having it play in the backround would be better (as in, you can already move around)
Some polishing could definitely make this game really fun :)
Hey! I really like the idea, and the graphics made me smile :) Pretty light-hearted.
I would say that some polishing would make the game even better - the first time I played it, I did not notice the "one time" movement, and had to restart, but there is no quit button. Also, I'm not sure if you can get more guns? I used them all and did not find a way to get more.
Also, there is a potential bug where with no guns I went to about 20% of health and the enemies did not kill me.
Anyway, with sorting some issues it is a game with a really great potential :)
Hey, first, I see we decided to choose the same theme :)
I definitely enjoyed the voice acting, it fit the game, and was very crisp and good to listen to.
As other people have mentioned, the colliders are the biggest problem, with some things not having them where you would expect it (I tried to go through a few doors and ended up falling into the nothingness ;) )
Would be definitely good to see more.
Hey, it is quite an enjoyeable puzzle mechanic, and the perspective is a bit brain-bending (in a positive way though, at least personally) :)
I think using space as switching required a bit getting used to (muscle memory space=jump!), but I was able to get over it within a short time.
I think I saw one bug that required me to restart the level (same as "Unlocked01")- that is during playing the first level, I got the robots quite close together on the ground - and I got stuck (I could only jump, not move sideways).
Definitely the amosphere is a big plus of the game - I particularly liked the occasional bubbles and breathing out - combined with the water sounds it does make you feel like you're deep underwater.
Funny enough, I actually (when I think about it, it makes no sense now) thought that the flares are some sort of bombs, and I got a bit scared when releasing one accidentally at first :D
Hey, first I think I would like to refer to what "TheSoulSelector" has mentioned already - I'm also a fan of the vibe - it is quite "light" and fun. Like the visuals as well :)
I also did get stuck around the right side of the level though and was not able to move at all. It also happened when speaking to the blonde person as the second person.
Also, I noticed that the red wizard to the left has no collisions.
I tried twice, and it would be fun to check out more of the game, but with getting stuck I'm not sure if it's possible.
Hey, I'd say that I quite liked the game overall, and the visuals are really pleasing to the eye :) Especially in combination with the lighting.
When it comes to the gameplay, I did enjoy the puzzles, although the battery kept me anxious all the time that it will run out (and I assume put me to the start of the game?). There are two bugs(?) I have noticed though. First, in the pushing boxes sequence, you can actually put a second box on the same pressure plate, and it makes it disappear. Due to that, I couldn't complete the puzzle. Secondly, if you leave the text open during this sequence, it seem not to take your battery down, but when I "spaced" through the text box, it started draining again.
But as I said at the start, the game is pretty good, and it does feel polished :)
Hey, I gave it a go, and I'd say that it is an interesting take on an autorunner, with picking things up that you can only use once. It made me think a little and try to figure out which item would serve what purpose.
I do have some recommendations for your polish phase. First of all, the UI doesn't seem to fit the 16:9 aspect ratio, with half of it being clipped in the main menu, but I was able to play the game without any issues with it.
I think also personally I found it a bit slow for the character to respose to my ability "commands" - that is I had to select it relatively early to be able to avoid an obstacle.
The men in black were pretty funny :) Also the ending renders are good quality, I personally enjoyed them.
Edit: Sorry for the spam in notifications, I accidently posted the comment multiple times.
Hey, thank you for your comment :)
Currently Steve has fixed the torch/text rendering issue, and now is working on improving the performance, we will be uploading the new build soon.
The key can open any door, but you need to figure out which one is the correct door by finding a plaque within the level (or if you choose incorrectly you can break the door, but this is not without consequences ;) )
