Does your game include art/sound packs or pre-prepared code?
If yes, please provide the source of the packs used

Our game uses tilemaps and I couldn't figure out how to use our artist's .gifs in our work as tiles. This script enabled that.
Please provide a link to the project source code.

I like the idea a lot the music and the art
but i got stuck in the third level and don't know what to do
The post-jam version of the game will have a more clear tutorial, but I'll tell you now, if a word has multiple of the same letters in it, you can move multiple spaces at once, and if a letter is in multiple words, you can go in multiple directions at once.
This is a lovely little thing, I like the premise!
Very good use of the theme. 👍
This has a relly solid idea behind it. I liked the assigning text at the start of each level. I could have done with more hand holding. Level 2 has totally stumped me and I had to give up before heading to work. I shall revisit it if I have time. I like the art too. Let's just say I am curious still, so that's a win
We rebalanced the level order in the latest version[notably, level 2 in 1.0 got moved to 8], and also took some of the guesswork out of assigning words in the early levels.
I'll look into adding a bit more in-game teaching after the jam, maybe one or two 'solve in three moves' levels in order to properly convey the mechanics at play. My level designs definitely could use a bit more care put into them.
I am so frustrated with my levels. I had to do all level design on the last day. Partly because the level editor makes it quick I thought I would be good. Then I ran into a big problem that swallowed most of my time. The levels that I got done represent about half of the tutorial!
I tried it just now. It gave me an error on pressing the start button and kind of frozen. Wish I could play! :(
Hey, have you tried in fullscreen ? There is an error, but it seems to be fixed when you play in fullscreen or in another browser, such as firefox.
Sorry about that. The version in web browser has some faulty logic with the level start function. To be safe, make sure all four words are each in one of the rocks on each side before pressing play.
Hello, the idea looks quite cool and different, but I couldn't play through it due to errors.
The web version doesn't allow me to do anything (some error message pops up), while the downloaded new version already has "left" and "right" assigned, therefore not allowing me to move.
I do like the creativity behind it though, and the fact that you have to be a bit more "tactical" with your moves :) It would be cool to try it out without any issues.
We reverted the web version to 1.0 due to misunderstandings regarding the jam's rules.
Left and Right being assigned in v1.1.7 is intentional, part tutorial, part game balance. Remember that WASD may do nothing, depending on the words used.
Drag the remaining words into the empty slots, then press Start.
I tried playing again on the downloaded version, but after assigning the remaning words, I couldn't use WASD.
The letters themselves are the controls. In the first level, pressing each letter in the word LEFT will move you one space to the left, except for T, because T is also in RIGHT.
Thanks, I'll give it a go then!
Pretty creative use of the theme, I'm pretty impressed by how there needs to be some thought put into placing each word. However, I think it would be easier to have the level visible when choosing where to place each word, so it's possible to plan according to the layout. Another thing that will be helpful is a way to return back to level select after failing, as reloading the page resets progress.
Holding left control while in the 'word select' screen hides the interface so that you can plan ahead. It's in the control list. But yes, I'll add a button for returning to the main menu.
Oh , my bad, I guess I didn't pay enough attention when reading the description. There was even a button for reseting the level.
I got through first level but at the second level there all walls around me and I couldn't move at all...am I missing something here? I genuinely liked the idea and the music had such a chill and relaxing vibe. I would like to play more but I couldn't figure out what to do.
The second level is maybe too hard, but here’s the solution : you can teleport diagonally
like with pushing the right and up words at the same time? I just tried that and did not work.
No, by typing a letter that is both at the top and the right of the screen, or bottom and right, etc.
Moving diagonally between walls is possible, if you can draw a straight line between the centre of your space and the centre of the space your teleport would move you to. If a letter is present in more than one word, i.e N in Sun and Moon, you can move diagonally, or even not move at all, depending on which way those words are equipped.
The game threw an error when I tried to start without assigning the words to the cloud(?) thing. But it runs well if the words are assigned. So maybe add some error handling during the polishing?
The game itself is fun and very challenging. Great visual and music as well
Updated this morning, that issue should be fixed now. Turned out to be a faulty if() check from an earlier version.
Got locked out as well. Maybe add a downloadable version so people who are having trouble can still play.

I had it crash when hitting start but was able to play after moving the words into the slots and then pressing start, im guessing the game is getting some Null Pointer Exceptions causing it to crash. Enjoyed playing when I was able to, hope your able to fix!

In Fullscreen and in Chrome it worked for me! I was able to play the first lvs a couple of time. Maybe try changing browser or Fullscreen first. If you type a letter and the Game is not the "selected part" of the screen i got the error aswell. But in fullscreen it was fine.
I have to say: HOW HARD is that game? xD I was so overtired by the jam and when i was trying the 3. lv my brain collapsed. BUT i played many attempts and it was worth it. Intelligent, New, Demanding (!) I like :D
I've updated the game logic a bit, let me know if you're still getting errors and locks.
Let me tell you, making the levels was an ordeal as well. If it weren't for Scrabble solving websites, I don't think I'd have finished all our levels in time :D
Sorry guys, same with me, I got an error when starting the first level as well.
Huh. That's weird, I get it too. I'll try and fix that by next week.
Same here, what you need to do is move the words from the book in the middle to the stones on the sides

As soon as I click "Start" after picking a level the game errors out in the web player.

Getting error regardless of doing that.
