nice, got 21.
It's a breath of fresh air these casual quiz games in a sea of action and figure-it-out puzzle games.

Great visuals, looks like it could have been a real game.
Figuring out how things work was kinda exploratory, but I understood the assignment.
Even got to the end credits with the [REDACTED] theme music xd

Bennett Foddy's Tape Measure™

A game where the in-game stress level is the real life one too xd

Master Roshi Kamehameha vibes

Couldn't find anyone to play with, but it's an interesting concept - kinda rock-paper-scissors-like to decide whether to bulk up and win on the scales, or rush to the top and hope the other stayed behind and can't reach the top in time.

Mom, can we buy "Thank Goodness You're Here"?
No, we have "Thank Goodness You're Here" at home.
The "Thank Goodness You're Here" at home:

btw the game looked really nice, like a little big planet custom level.
I guess this is the power of unreal engine

Told me we can't get past the truck...
I beg to differ little paper dude xd

The voice was funny and felt like it could have been included in an "official" game.
Would have loved to explore a bit more of the mechanics, but jam deadline cuts short everything, I know :P

Thanks for the feedback!
I guess tank controls are a thing of the past. :P
Glad you're enjoyed it though.

It' like some of the starcraft/warcraft campaign missions where you have to survive a horde of enemies attacing your base, until the time's up.

Whoops.
Good find :P

It's like playing chess against yourself. :P

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍

Hey, great game for your first jam submission!
After getting used to the controls I found it fun to enter a room and forced to quickly come up with a solution as time runs out.
In most puzzle/platformer games you can dilly dally, and take your time, but the player is always on the edge here, needing to make split-second decisions.
The two things I would change is that I'd ease on the time restriction (or eliminate it altogether) until the players familiarizes themselves with the controls and environment intractables. (trying to figure out how to swich characters in 10 seconds, until the level blows up is really tough)
The other thing is I'd make who's the currently selected character more visible, so the player has better indication who they're controlling, and switched to.

Overall great job, keep it up!

Nice, moody graphics and sounds.
The game kinda reminded me of that subway tunnel game where you need to spot the differences. Only here you needed to find where did that box spawned.

Cool name choice, piques interest.

Thanks!
The signs are last minute additions, as I ran out of time to implement a proper tutorial system :P
But I'm glad it turned out well.

If only it would be as easy to make money in real life as in this game xd

About 22 minutes.
I liked this game the most so far. There was always the anticipation what upgrade I unlock next for the mech.

The game handed out wins so easily it lost all meaning by the end :P

Played the downloadable version, it worked fine there.

Great game, got all 8 pickups (though the last one needed some searching to find)
Really like games where the interactivity is in the world, even more so when it affect physical objects you can ride!

Short and fun.
Excellent presentation.

Played trough all 10 levels, it was rather fun.
Not sure about how it fit the theme though :P

softlocked myself 2 times because I wasn't fast enough to catch greens, and the game stopped spawning anything slower, so I couldn't make money to upgrade.
Could be an interesting take on the incremental genre, if only there would be a fallback mechanic to grind

For some reason this reminded me of the old Atari 2600 game Crackpots.
There you defend lanes too, and the enemy spawn line gets closer the more you fail - except here each lane gets closer individually, and seeing losing lanes altogether was interesting.
Couldn' spawn more enemies unfortunately though.

Died to a Mountain lion 410 km from the summit :(
Guess I should have bought a knife...

Excellent audio design though, really cozy.

Has the potential to be a high skill ceiling game.
The controls are tough to get around, but once mastered there' plenty of opportunity to make epic speedruns.

It's Bonk Time!
Found out the best strategy for giant lazer robots is to go big, and outdamage them with bonk spam.
Also fun when the little guy's shield turns him into a bouncy ball and you can cosplay as sonic xd

Spore cell stage Let's Goooo!!

in most games you move faster when you jump.
Especially true in games where the higher you go the bigger you grow, and scaling your momentum too :P

omg, it's like The Witness
Also, I could imagine a modern day reimplementation of LOOM that has similar mechanics to this game.

The bear got so big I could barely reach to feed it xd

Expected Guacamelee, got a nice puzzle game instead.
Makes you think about the solution, and makes you feel smart after a successful execution.
The cacti are nightmare fuel though xd

Love it, stardew valley's fishing is the best fishing mechanic I tried, nice twist on that.

me when I have ammo: "Get back here, let me shoot you!"
the monster when I'm finally out: "I'm not locked in here with you. You're locked in here with me!"

hmm, noticed the enemy switching pattern 30 seconds in, then how it reacts to mine in about 40.

Best looking game I saw in the entire game jam.
The dog head wiggle when it turns alone worth 5/5 presentation :D
When you can drive around, chilling is a nice addition - that would make a great game too.

This game made the unpredictable game of rock-paper-scissors predictable. :P
Tactics: bait the opponent by picking a choice (who pick the counter of it every time), get close then immediately switch to the one left to it (which will counter the counter).
Repeat. Win
