OMG AMAZING! coincidentally, I'm making a more or less similar game for a 5 month jam (I've been doing it since June lmao) and this game inspires me even more to keep doing it!

Hey, saw your game on stream and wanted to say it's super cute! Here's the link if you missed it:
Really cool and nice game! Art is also awesome. Gameplay feels a bit buggy, maybe if the paper didn't have legs things would work better. And if there was a sign of where you can climb then it would be even better. Climbing the staircase didn't make sense to me, because there wasn't actually a wall.
I love the papery design in this game, the art is so polished! Also being able to fold your character to control your size is a unique way to do the theme. I felt like that feature made the puzzles interesting to play as you have to consider the size and dimensions of your character.
Really interesting concept! Played some similar games, but the paper folding was a unique twist. I also love the animations and the art style.
The game did feel a bit buggy at times, and I got stuck eventually on the roof top bc I did not know where to go next. Overall definitely enjoyed it and loved the concept!
Neat idea for a game that fits the theme in a very nice way. Lovely music that is fits the game very well. I loved the little facial expressions, especially when you're trying to become smaller when you're already as small as you can get, so cute!
If the controls weren't so finicky I would have had a way better time, but unfortunately I found my self getting a bit frustrated at times, not being able to crawl up between the walls and vents etc. with more ease. Also things like not being able to enter the first, big door opening you encounter unless you're that specific size. I would assume that you could enter the opening when being the smallest size.
That being said, I think you did a great job with the storytelling, and the game had way more content than I expected. Big kudos to you for making all this happen in just four days! Seriously impressive.
Resizing the character seems to be quite a common theme for this jam, but having a sheet of paper that folds is a nice twist on it.
My main complaint is the collisions or something - when climbing up the pipe, I could not get out of it. Pressing space didn’t help, nor did making the character smaller. Don’t know if there is a correct way to do it.
Nice premise and visuals though, good job!
Such a nice game it is. Loved the challenges and the visuals. Well done! Keep it up.
Told me we can't get past the truck...
I beg to differ little paper dude xd
Really creative take on the theme, and especially refreshing since I haven't seen anything like it! Real fun play :)
The core mechanic of folding paper is so smart! Although some parts of the level weren't very clear and took me a while to figure out what to do.
Wow, the idea of transforming different sizes of paper is very innovative, and the paper like art style is amazing too! Now I stuck at the rooftop stage where there is a diagonal pipe at the background... never mind, I will try to play again! :D
This is one of the more unique concepts I've seen. Lots of games about resizing player characters, but I like the potential this one has due to the way resizing changes the shape of the character. The potential for puzzles in this I think is pretty high.
The controls are the only thing that leave a little to be desired. Moving from background to foreground can feel clunky.
Overall though, great job. You should feel good about this entry!
Thank! yea i wanted to try and take the classic idea and like add some extras to it, had a lot of other mechanic ideas that had to be scrapped in the end but would love to make a full version!
yea that's fair, there's definitely a decent amount of jank to it xd
and thanks! hoping i can get it featured in the video if i'm lucky :p
