How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
It has spooky themes, since you're a lost soul trying to find their body . There's also goopy monsters and moster arms in your way. Also it fits the gameboy style as it only has 4 colours

Nice concept. Lacking music, yes, but the sfx were decent although not sure if they pass for chiptune/8 bit. As previously stated, the fly jumping is very cool!
Hey, I like the idea! You made it in GB Studio? That must have been tough, haha.
I like the graphic design, but I noticed some double pixels in your artwork. Maybe without those, your game could have an even better look!
Congratulations on making this game! I don't have a real Game Boy to test it on, haha.
Didn’t notice the double pixels :0
My bad. :(
Yup I made it in GB studio, it was pretty tough but it was a good way to learn more about the engine!
i like the fly jumping. and the idea of looking for your body
Τhank you!
I really liked the movement and the follower upgrade, nice idea there!
The only thing I found a bit uncomfortable was the WASD + Z and X for the controls
A bit short, but nice to have your entry! I like the fly mechanic. :D I was missing some music also there. Keep doing it!
Thank you! Couldn't figure out the music cause it need to be in a specific format :( (uge/mod)
Nice game, it's a shame there was no music.
Having A/B Buttons mapped to only Z and X is a limiting factor for some keyboard layouts and also kinda prevents you from using WASD as movement. Maybe add additional keys as alternatives?
i will try to update it after the jam
Pretty fun jumping mechanic, just a shame it was so short, but that's what you get with a game jam I suppose.
I was running out of time unfortunately
Yeah, I feel you. There was so much I wanted to put in my game as well, but I just didn't have enough time. Still I think it is an absolute triumph to have made anything at all and we should both be proud.
