Pretty creative game! May try other factions later, but I wanted to rate the game in time! The instructions were slightly confusing, but as I started playing I got the hang of the game pretty quickly!

Very cool concept, took me a bit of time to understand, but after that it was great fun, nice job! :)
Not really hard but cool concept and fun little animations at the end, congrats!
Made me smile, microwave cult wins again.
Some difficulty curve could help make it more interesting gameplay-wise. For example having only limited number of days till doomsday or some limited placement.
Still absurdly fun game.
All hail Fishjesus. Ate the earth. This was one of the more unique submissions so far. Quite a bit of fun. Chum be unto you, gracious dev.
I played through for all 5 fractions to see each ending, the animation for each was so cool! I think the actual gameplay could have done with something extra, maybe people who place themselves and you have to work around them?
Nice. I made the fish eat the world!
The game was fairly simple, though I enjoyed strategizing the placements.
I think the game has potential, it was lacking some extra juice: What if placing certain people next to other certain people would trigger some action? for instance fish next to robed people would cause the fish to eat the robed people (just a random wild idea).
Point is, there could be more interesting mechanics to juice it up a bit.
Style was also great, and the music was good. Well done.
Loved the take on the theme and the art style. Vibe was just right. Great job!
duuuude we have the same game name ahah : https://coolofdead.itch.io/dooms-day
but the gameplay is sooo different LMAO being eaten by a giant fish was a good twist ahah (i might add it to my end game)
That's a pretty interesting concept! A bit easy once you figure out you can just create a line of unwanted cult and stack yourpeople together but it's a jam after all! The graphics are very great as well! :)
Cool game with interesting premise. In the first run I won although I didn't really know how the game works, but on second it was clear. I didn't see any similar games in this game jam. Pretty creative. Good job!
A cool game with nicely animated endings. I also liked the graphics. Although, I do agree with some others that the tutorial may be difficult to understand. I mainly understood what to do after my second to third run. Overall, a nicely put game.

Cool game and vibe! Love all the different cultures. I agree that the tutorial was a bit hard to understand, but I understood it enough to play.
Balance-wise, I was able to cheese a win by just putting anyone not in my cult in one big line. Might be interesting to try to combat that strategy (maybe other cutlists can get suspicious? or building deep has a price?)
Interesting game. I was able to beat it at day 10 with 89 people! I think it had a really interesting vibe and the gameplay was pretty fun when I got the hang of it. It's pretty fun to strategize how to get the people of the same group together without blocking the others. The main thing that I would say it needs is some polishing.
For example the tutorial slide at the beginning only used pictures and not text, which is kind of a double edged sword in terms of communicating stuff. I ended up confused and not clearly understanding the mechanics until I jumped in the game and got context by placing a couple rooms, but from there I was ok and understood how it worked. Additionally in the bunker scene it's hard to tell at first what the boundaries are (only 3 rooms wide but it looks like more could be fit) because the same dirt texture is used, which again confused me until I placed a couple of rooms. The queue cam was probably the most important thing to have and I was glad to see it was there because it was super helpful!
Strange game, horrific atmosphere. Maybe it is a horror game.
I liked the fun artstyle and theme. The tutorial was hard to understand but I figured the gameplay out after a bit :)
Really cool that you managed to make 5 different factions with 5 different endings! Naturally I sided with the fish people :D The game did not really pose a challenge but was still enjoyable thanks to the nice pixel art and humor! Nice job!
