How does your game fit the theme?
The main character need to cross through a storm using his ship after having upgraded it in a cozy fishing game.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
UI and audio were found online but game arts and code was made by us. Proper credits are given in the description.

The art and audio are top quality! I am finding it impossible to catch fish without running out of fuel, most days the first fish I encounter is outside of my fuel range to make it back to the market after a single fish catch.
The art is good and the game is well trimmed. It's fun
One of the best entries I've played so far, well done!
That said, there are a couple of things I didn't get straight away:
1) how to use the items (instead of Specials it could be "Active upgrades" or something like that?)
2) I lost my first 3 items until I realised I had to manually drag and drop them to the inventory... why not automatically add them to inventory once you've caught the fish?
Also, the mix of pixel art and non-pixel art feels a bit weird.
Very nice submission to play! Feels polished and finished, smooth camera movement, story, ui,... gg well done!
Really nice game!
What a gem.... I really enjoyed the calm atmosphere! Would spend my whole day fishing and getting to know the area. I just got confused on how to use the ship parts. Other than that, the game is perfect, the pixel and 2d art, the village music that starts playing when you arrive, the gameplay! Awesome work!
Great graphics and audio. Loved the wave system. My only complain would be around the fuel mechanic. Since it's a side scroller the way to manage it was simply to aim for the middle then go back and towing was not that punishing. Other than this minor thing, I loved collecting all my fishes. Upgrade system was really fun to experiment with as well.
I had a lot of fun. My game is about a boat as well, and you collect trash on the surface but I wanted to add another way to collect things which funny enough was going to be a fishing mini game but I had to cut that idea. it’s fun to fish for things and try to make it back with enough oil.
good game!
I really like how you implemented fishing. Another thing, I don't know if it is intended, but if you spam A or D you can get really far with almost zero loss of fuel. Amazing game!!!
Cool game design and atmosphere, really chill, great polish too. Well done!
Nice art style, dialogue, atmosphere and easy to get to grips gameplay.
Could have done with a bit more fuel to start things off with, (I was SOOOoo close to the Harbour when it ran out :P). That or more fishing spots a bit closer.
My first trip out, I didn't realize you had to click and drag the items to your inventory. So got back to the shop and couldn't figure out why I didn't have anything to sell :P. I assume that's done because the inventory is a set size, and you may choose not to collect what you get from fishing. But that's probably a much further down the road issue.
Really nice game though, and brought together well!
A really well put together game, the only issue I had was my fuel bar not giving me much of a trip. Other than that great work for the 7 days!
This was a very fun game, everything ran with no noticeable bugs or issues and had an enjoyable progression system. I was glad that the game started with muted audio however since unfortunately the audio seemed to not perform at the best quality. best volume was like 10% or less.
I really like the fishing mini game, it was different to what we often see in games and more engaging IMHO! I too quickly found Sturdy and had too much fuel I guess, but at least I wasn’t impede by difficulty. Oh, and the quit button in the audio option should definetly not exit the game I guess :p
This game is truly amazing! The creativity, polish, and engaging gameplay make it a standout. You can see the passion and effort that went into every detail. Fantastic work! :D
Beautiful and fun but some issues with the settings menu crashing the game and not sure if this was on purpose or not but the charismatic perk gives you infinite money by just selling with it on and buying your stuff back with it off
This was a nice game to play but I feel like the fuel bar was just, too low. I could most of the time not even get out off shore and get one fish and get back. Maybe spawning fish closer to the docks would work because I litteraly could not play half of the time.
Other than that the sound sliders didn't really work properly in the menu and blasted my ears at one point.
The graphics were really good though and the sound effects were nice to listen to. I enjoyed it.
This game is great, I thoroughly enjoyed playing. I really like the inclusion of the card dex too, it's really cool seeing everything you've collected.
This game was really fun. I think it's best game from this jam I've played so far.
So to even say something bad about the game I is really hard. I think the game functions as is. But I think for example if fuel would be constantly consumed (but only by a little) even when fishing it will add some more depth to the gameplay. There would be choice not to fish as specific point also fishing would require more skill because the faster you catch fish the better.
Only confusing thing about the game is needing to pick up the fish you caught. I get that if you have almost full inventory you don't want to pick up every fish, but it took me some time to realise I wasn't picking my fish. Maybe having option to drop items from inventory would be more clear.
But these are just minor points that would made the game even better and the game already good is.
Edit:
Really loved the economy in this game.
Wow, the pixel art looks amazing! I really liked the waves too. Very polished game!
