Description
While the name of the project is Kisami's "Little" Adventure I thought a big and grand sound was the way to go. While the adventure may be small it is a grand world inside Kisami's mind and the way she expresses it is larger than life. I kind of envision the story taking place in modern times but in a very rural area where her imagination can run wild.

For the score I mainly went for an orchestral/ethnic sounding score though I did go with a more Lo-Fi sound for the "tutorial track" just to distinguish it from the rest of the tracks.

Tracks were made using Cinesamples, Spitfire: Labs, The Crowhill Company and Logic's sample libraries.

How does it fit the theme?
With both the Text and the beautiful image provided I thought it would be great to create a Japanese sounding score that is big and grand. While Kisami's village may be small, her world is larger than life! Her abilities in this story bring her imagination and creativity to life to bring joy and happiness to her village.

Love the large scale of sound here. Everything feels very grand and epic,  and the orchestration does a great job of emulating an actual orchestra. Very powerful emotions in Kisami's Grieving Mother, and love how you changed things up in Kisami's Little Tutorial, it adds some nice variety to the OST as a whole. Really cool and pleasant soundtrack to listen to, great work here!

Appreciate the comment! I definitely felt the "tutorial" deserved a different feel from the rest.

I really liked the tutorial track! The bells were really pleasant and the drums were an unexpected but fun addition!

This was such a pleasant listen. "KIsami" was just so good! Loved the usage of eastern instruments. And "Kisami's Little Tutorial" was so groovy. Awesome work all around.

Oh... to be honest, your soundtrack impressed me from the very first seconds!

The Main Theme is a very magical composition! It sounds perfect for the opening panoramic scene of some movie!

Kisami's Grieving Mother - It sounds both sad and majestic!

Kisami's Little Tutorial - Heh... This is definitely my favorite track. You were able to combine orchestral magic with the coolness of the beats well. I liked it!

Overall, it was a wonderful adventure. Thanks!

I appreciate it! I definitely wish I had the time to add at least a couple more tracks but I'm glad you liked it!

Beautiful composition and the mixing is good! This really sounds like the picture:D

Wow I love this kind of instrumentation and composition style! I think you nailed the Japanese vibe here. (I learned music in Japanese and I definitely hear the influence. I just wish you had a composition based on the Hirajoshi scale too 😉)

Cool ethnic sound, also good use of dynamics!

Sounds so good! One of my favourites so far. I particularly like the instrumentation you went with.

The one sound that was catching my attention was the cymbals, as their placement sounded a little intrusive in a couple spots. Really beautiful build on the second track too, I could just listen to a loop of that for ages.

I could really see this being the actual ost for the inspiration artwork!

Sounds nice. I like the quality of sound and overall atmosphere.

This is great - fantastic arrangements, and the production quality throughout is top notch. Choice of instrumentation is apt and each piece flows very well. I feel like I could learn a lot from just listening to these, kudos! Best of luck. :)

Aww thanks dude! Really appreciate it! I try my best to create as natural a sound as I can!

Really nice work, with texture, amplitude, and everything that is good in orchestral ! Well done ! The leitmotiv may be a little classic and doesn't stick as much as I'd love too, but that's really neatpicking.

Developer

True! lol If I had more time I probably would've incorporated that B theme a bit more but sadly while the scale is a bit limiting it still has a great sound that works. Appreciate the comment overall though!
