Thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoyed the mechanics :)

I think the reason you found the start difficult is due to each month being so short, if you waste any time, it's a loss. Also the fact that there is no tutorial makes it even harder to learn.

Thank you :) That's what I intended for the fun to be, finding the optimal strategy.

As for how I play it... I think the numbers for chicken growth and upkeep are pretty good. Also, upgrading to max level is never worth it due to the high cost. I didn't really have time to balance the game.

This is extremely creative, some good stuff! I love deckbuilding roguelikes, and this is a very fresh take on the genre, definitely has potential.

If this was playable on browser it would've done so much better, which is a shame. Really enjoyed it, good job!

Like someone before me, I didn't know you needed to activate checkpoints manually :(

Aside from that, very interesting mechanic in which attack leaves the player vulnerable. Good stuff!

That was a very unique experience, not sure if that was my favourite ever control scheme, but overall it was pretty good!

This is an amazing idea, and definitely has potential. I found it way too hard, but that might just be me. Good stuff tho!

This was pretty fun!

However, since the game has its focus around speedrunning, it really needs benchmarks to convey to the player "how well did I do". Since obviously you can't have a leaderboard, I think you should've implemented a rank system (either stars or letter grades S, A, B, C, etc), so that the player has a reason to actually speedrun.

Oh this game is easy... oh wait. Fun little game, very adorable art :D

Yooooo you cooked pretty good. The game fits the theme perfectly, and the puzzles get really fun once linking is introduced. Good job!

This was fun, the concept fit the theme perfectly, but it was pretty hard, wished the platforming was less tight.

This is fun, I enjoyed the game very much.

Short and sweet, fits the theme perfectly, good job!

This is very polished! Fun and simple game, nice work.

Yo this has so much potential! I love card battler roguelikes, and this was super fun. Good stuff :D

That was very fun! I kinda wish there's more upgrades and abilities, but good job!

Pretty interesting and fun. My partner who enjoys these sort of games really loved it!

That was fun! I am impressed that you managed to built this in such a short time.

Yeah I agree there's plenty of feedback missing from the game. I'm glad you enjoyed the "tinkering for the best set-up", you made my day :D

This is one of the best games I've played this game jam. Love the absurd premise, and the gameplay is really fun.

This is amazing for a game jam. The programming concept is very interesting, and the visual to go along are really polished.

Fun little game, but imo way too strict. It seems like a chill game from the visual and vibes, the strictness of the clipping really is frustrating.

Vibes. The music, art and gameplay all fit so well

That was a fun little game! A game in which all the cards play scale my character permanently is a pretty interesting mechanic

Yes I agree, should have really allocated time for a tutorial

I feel like a monkey building a car. This is really crazy well made.

Great concept, and really fun to play! Sadly my game got stuck after a while due to multiple enemies spawning on top of each other and I couldn't attack them :(

That was super fun! Very well made, I kinda want a full version of this game now

Honestly it's impressive work in 48 hours.

That was adorable. I think you could've made more levels using the assets, it felt a little short even for a game jam game.

I loved the puzzles! Great idea and execution! My only complain is that I can't skip the "battle", I already know I'm winning by the time I start the battle.

Big Win! That was super fun, good stuff!

Yes chickens have to be bought. I really wished I had allocated time for implementing an in-game tutorial, the game is indeed pretty confusing without it. Thanks for playing!

This was extremely buggy and confusing. But I persevered since it looks like something I will love - and it is. Such a fun game, amazing concept, in my 3rd run when I finally got it I had so much fun.

For anyone confused on how to play - When you click "GO" on an item that affects other items, you need to click another number. Annoyingly not clicking the correct values will put your item on cooldown and not do anything. The game really needed better visual language than the default Godot buttons. As for the Battery (Increase ALL numbers on module), you need to click on the item you want to upgrade rather than the actual value.

But seriously it's super fun, if it you like roguelikes that have bunch of synergies and combos, play this. It's great.

Heyo even though it's pretty simple, that was pretty fun!

I ran out of energy and couldn't build the smallest possible piece :(
Aside from that issue, pretty good work!

Double take on the theme! A nice little puzzle platformer, good work!

Really interesting concept, but controlling the sliders while platforming can be a little too much for me

This is pretty good, I love card roguelikes, and this is pretty cool take

Thank you so much for the kind words :)

TIL the eiffel tower is heavier than the ISS.

Loved everything about the game btw.
