The art is absolutely fantastic! I really loved the Road Rage/Mad Max vibe—it’s honestly super cool.

As a big fan of deck-building games, I really liked the concept, but I did feel a bit overwhelmed at first. There’s so much content and so many tapes that I ended up just picking 10 at random to give it a try. It took me a bit of time to understand what I was doing. The lack of a fullscreen option also made things trickier, as I had to downscale the resolution. Like others mentioned, the absence of tooltips on some tapes made it harder to grasp everything.

That being said, the game has a lot of potential, and the art is truly AMAZING!

Congrats!

Super cool narrative and a lot of good ideas.

I found the bosses to have too many HPs  but that's maybe intended. Music and SFXs are cool but a bit loud.

Congrats!

Thank you for the feedbacks and for playing to our game!

Sure, I'll test yours!

The art, ambiance, and narrative are really well done—congratulations!

Unfortunately, the tutorial disappeared too quickly for me to fully understand everything (controls and projectiles underwater/on the surface). I had to restart (including the cutscenes) to properly take it all in.

I also wasn’t sure about the advantage of moving forward instead of just staying back—does it have a purpose?

In any case, great job! The interpretation of the theme works really well, and the overall artistic direction is fantastic!

Your remark is relevant, that would have been indeed a great piece of information to include on the wheel screen.

Thank you for playing our game!

Pretty cool concept with nice art—both visuals and music!

I might be repeating what others have said, but there’s a feeling that something is missing in the gameplay when there are no incoming projectiles, and the boss patterns seem a bit repetitive.

Aside from that, it’s a fun game—congrats!

The art, including the animations, is super cool—great job!

I struggled a bit with the controls at first, but after a few tries, it got better. That said, I still found the game very difficult—probably too much for me... I guess I’m just not very good at it ^^!

Thank you for playing and for reporting the issues you mentioned—it really helps us improve!

The art is absolutely amazing—really, just super, super impressive. The steampunk theme and narrative are also incredibly well done. That’s just perfect work right there.

The music is really nice, though it’s a bit of a shame that the SFX isn’t on the same level, as it slightly breaks the immersion. The bosses seem very cool, but I did encounter one big issue: the balancing. Spamming the basic attack seems to be by far the most effective way to defeat them without it taking too long, while other attacks and spells feel much harder to use.

Congratulations—this is great work!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing to our game and congratulations for finishing it! I'll test your game for sure.

The visuals, ambiance, and tutorial are really well done—congratulations!

I really liked what you brought in terms of gameplay and interpretation of the theme. Unfortunately, I had some trouble with the controls and executing what I wanted (shooting and moving).

Aside from that, I had fun, which is the most important thing. Once again, great job!

Thank you very much for playing! Balancing difficulty is always a challenge, which is why we wanted everyone—even players who aren’t great at shooting games—to be able to experience all the content within 3 or 4 runs :)

Thanks for playing, we are glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you very much for your feedbacks, we are glad you enjoyed the overall experiences and our bosses!

Very cool entry! I really liked your take on the theme, the visuals, and the accessibility of the controls.

At times, it can be a bit frustrating when it feels like you can’t avoid taking damage, but that’s a minor issue.

Congratulations—this is really cool!

I had to check who was Malenia, not enough patience to play Elden Ring hehehe

Thank you very much for playing, we are glad you enjoyed the core & metagameplay!

Many thanks for the positive feedbacks and for playing, we're glad you had fun!

Congrats, this was just exactly right.

Since I’m a big fan of deck-building and randomness in general, I really liked the concept you’re going for!

Unfortunately, I won just by playing all my basic cards every turn without ever losing, and I completely forgot about buying new cards. I wish the game had punished me for ignoring that mechanic, as it would have pushed me to engage with it more.

The music is nice, and I really like the old-school sci-fi vibe. The dice roll between turns adds a fun twist to the combat. Lots of great ideas overall—good job!

I really liked the character animations and the overall visuals—great job!

Unfortunately, I struggled with two things:

  • The player movement has a lot of inertia, which made it very difficult for me to control the character.
  • There are many different controls, and I had a hard time executing the actions I wanted.

I wish I could have had better control over the player to fully enjoy the content of your game!

Potential winner here! I've tested around 50 submissions, and this is by far the best quality I've seen so far. 5 stars in Visuals and Boss Design—well deserved!

However, I felt a bit overwhelmed during the fights—there’s so much happening on the screen that I didn’t always understand what I was doing or what I was supposed to do. Your game has so much depth, maybe even too much for me (totally personal opinion).

That said, the quality is top-tier, and the artistic direction is incredibly well done.

No matter the final ranking, you should be super proud of this amazing submission!

Thanks for playing!

Such an interesting take on the theme! The overall artistic direction is a bit weird but not in the bad way...looks like a bad trip ^^

The main issue for me was handling the controls: it would have been better for me, in my personal opinion, to control the character with  the mouse (left-click to go there, right click to dash for example) and keep the keyboard keys for attacks. Or WASD for movement and clicks and one seperate key for boosting damage for example.

Again, very personal feedback, might be the only one having this control issue!

Super cool entry—congratulations!

The controls are very intuitive; I got the hang of them on my first run.

Thank you so much for not making the game overly difficult like 80% of the submissions I’ve played in this jam. The mechanic works perfectly—it’s fun, dynamic, and I really liked it!

The boss design and visuals were really, really cool—I loved them!

I also think it’s great that you implemented the wheel for powers alongside the spinning core mechanic.

Congrats!

I really liked the boss design, the visuals, and the fact that you included multiple difficulty levels for each boss. I encountered some issues with the camera at times, but it was fine afterward. Congrats!

What a great take on the theme! You’ve got my 5 stars for the Use of Theme.

Unfortunately, I encountered the bug with the locked door of Boss 3. Aside from that issue and the default Godot buttons, I really enjoyed the game. It’s fun, challenging, and I think the difficulty is well balanced. The music is cool, and overall, I really liked it. Congrats!

Thank you very much for trying our game! We're glad you had fun! Agreed, there's a lot to improve when it comes to the wheel.

Thank you very much for your detailed feedback! It really helps us improve and get better. Yes, there are still some minor bugs with the second boss—I hope they didn’t affect your experience too much.

Thank you very much for playing, we are glad you enjoyed our little rogue lite game :)

Thank you for playing!

Regarding mouse wheel, it has been on the table but I thought maybe some players doesn't own a mouse wheel. Maybe a bad judgement but that's why we didn't go for that. We thought also about Q & E but we wanted the player to remember the less controls as possible, to maximize accessibility. Again, thank you for testing our game and for the feedbacks!

You must be very skilled then! It's quite hard to balance a game for a jam as we did not want players to rage quitting because it's way too hard. But I understand the no challenge no fun spririt. Agreed with "Repulse".

Thanks for playing!

Thank you very much for the constructive feedbacks and for testing our game. There is a definitely a lot of improvements that can be done for sure. We are glad you enjoyed the overall experience.

Now i don't see annything to reconfigure controls anymore. Is that normal?

Anyway, I tried to force myself with the original controls and it was a bit hard for me to hit the boss, I kept taking damage from the spawning boss all the time (my fault, I was always jumping ^^).

I'll give another shot with god mod if i have the chance.

Really like the art and very very cool music!

Pretty cool to play, easy to play and  hard to master.

I started in Normal Mode but then I switched to Easy ^^

Good job!

I'm glad you enjoyed the rogue-lite feeling we attempted to do.

Thank you for playing!

Thank you for playing!

Yes, the second boss might be the hardest if you don't have the right runes ^^

Thank you for playing!

Was a bit hard to handle at first but I managed!

Very interesting approach on the theme by applying to the controls themselves.

Good job!
