really good graphics. If you have some free time, how can you watch my game?

The art is absolutely fantastic! I really loved the Road Rage/Mad Max vibe—it’s honestly super cool.

As a big fan of deck-building games, I really liked the concept, but I did feel a bit overwhelmed at first. There’s so much content and so many tapes that I ended up just picking 10 at random to give it a try. It took me a bit of time to understand what I was doing. The lack of a fullscreen option also made things trickier, as I had to downscale the resolution. Like others mentioned, the absence of tooltips on some tapes made it harder to grasp everything.

That being said, the game has a lot of potential, and the art is truly AMAZING!

Congrats!

I like the sense of motion in the combats, I would say it could be good if it was all like first person but its good as is too, also the tape/deck building is a nice touch, overal i like it very much, I rate graphics on top but all is cool, if youo have time, please rate my game too, thanks!!

Thank you for your kind opinion! We continue to work on the game, fix bugs, add features we didn't have time to implement etc. We hope you'll have the chance to try the game again when it's polished :)

I like the idea of this being a deck builder built out of cassets. It’s a cool idea. The visuals are also great and the music is quite engaging.

What I really miss are some sound and fx effects for the attacks and car movements. You already have some cool move and attack animations and the fact that the car placements are matter adds to the game depth. But the Boss fight in it self does not feel particularly exciting because of the missing effects. I think you could tweak that to have a much bigger impact. So you actually feel like you driving the car and get rammed and so one.. like camera shake and some particle effects could really add to the dramatics.

The deck builder screen could really use some explanation how to choose the cassets. I mean I found the way it is meant to be used, but it took some time and caused some minor frustration, but again that would be easily fix, just add a little text and/or arrow to the left where the cassets should be placed and gg.

The cassets by themselves are quite okay, but they glitched quite a lot while fighting the boss, as hovering over them didn’t show the tooltip most of the time.

Oh and please add a fullscreen key or button as I had to play in browser resolution and had to scale down to actually see the whole game.

But other then that you have a great game on your hands and could very well extend it with contend in between the bosses like Mad Max style fights in between, gathering resources / cassets, etc. Could be very cool.

Job well done!

I really love the length you went to give feedback, all of which I agree with.
The state of the game is like this because we overscoped and ran out of time. Thats why it is in such a buggy state and VFX/SFX is very "limited". We have plan to expand upon those elements as soon as i fix those pesky tooltip problems.
Also, screenshake is something i didn't even think of so i have to note it down and tackle when i get to vfx.

Thank you for the exhaustive feedback, it really means a lot to us!

Very very cool idea for a deck building turn based car combat game. I think there may be a few UI bugs as the cassette tooltips disappeared after i put in the first one. Also unsure of how the turn order works. I really hope you keep working on this one cause if you do I'd probably buy this if I saw it on steam. Love this theme and these mechanics.

Developer

Thank you for your feedback :-D It means a lot! We keep working on that. Steam release is definitely something we wanna do in the future :-)

art looked promising but i couldnt figure out how to proceed. interacting with the tapes didnt do anything for me :/  thx for sharing!

Developer

Thanks for the comment. One thing i regret the most with this jam is not working more on card usage and visual clarity. There is a big area to improve in that regard.

I like the idea with "cards" having two sides and having some "fuel" resource dependency. But some tutorial, at least in text format would be good, cuz I had no clue what is happening and was just loading random cassettes xD

Also had the bug when you can't flip the cassette and check its tooltip

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Those bugs drive us crazy too ;-) We''ll definitely continue working on the game to deliver a complete experience, free of bugs and filled with content we intended to include initially.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!
I actually wanted to add a short click-through tutorial that explains UI beforehand, but just ran out of time. It will land in the upcoming versions for sure! I will also squash all the bugs i got reported and others that i know about :)

The setting is cool!

Also worth mentioning is the attention to details like the tape flipping.

However encountered a couple of bugs for example the tooltips stopped showing so I had to guess what the tapes would do.

Was fun and I would like to see a more polished version of it.

Hi, sadly, i just ran out of time and had to fix more burning needs towards the end of jam. This showed how hard is the scope management and how much bugs come in with every piece of code.

We will be working very hard to bring features that we didn't have the time to do in the upcoming days so I hope you will keep observing our project :)

Also thank you for the comment. I really appreciate that!

I like the idea with tapes, encountered some bugs but I'm sure they'll be fixed after the jam. Keep up the nice work!

Developer(+1)

Hi! Definitely we will be working hard to bring the current content to a much less bug ridden state. After that we are going to work towards implementing all the features that had to be rejected on the planning board due to limited time available for jam.

Thank you for your kind words and encouragement!

Cool concept, i liked clipping the tape over for a different thing :P  But you don't have any cool ramming sound effects :(

Developer

Thanks for the comment! We actually had some ramming sounds prepared, but we actually ran out of time implementing other things, like a story element :)

We will certainly add custom sounds and animations to each cassette move in the future for sure.

As for the clipping, noted and I will fix it as soon as I get to work with the code.

Once again, thanks for the feedback :)

Developer

The game is still a work in progress, so any feedback will be welcome :-)
