Game's Take on the Theme
The main mechanic, required to beat any boss, is spinning your sword above you to float. There's also the fortune wheel that you spin to get Nectar abilities, which work only while you're spinning the sword.
Did your team make the majority of the art and music during the jam?
Yes
If not, please link to any asset packs or resources used here.
I made all the art, but the music is from here: https://www.gamedevmarket.net/asset/free-game-music-megapack https://xanderwood.itch.io/piano-and-flute-tracks

The boss design and visuals were really, really cool—I loved them!
I also think it’s great that you implemented the wheel for powers alongside the spinning core mechanic.
Congrats!
This game is underrated. It is one of my favourites in the entire jam. The use of the spinning sword making you fly is an incredibly intelligent way to use the theme of spin, and I hope this game is continued after the jam as I can see a lot of potential in it. Great game!
Thanks a lot! We'll see how it goes :)
Honestly, one of my favorite games ever :D
Graphically, the game is very clean and beautiful. That spinning sword is a delight to manipulate :D The bosses are difficult, but you can clearly improve and progress to defeat them. And the random abilities are great and really change the way you play.
All in all! A big bravo to you!
Oh wow, that's really nice to hear. Thank you so much :D
Good controls, good bosses' designs and good artistic direction !
Thanks!
A very enjoyable game with highly responsive controls. I can see that it draws inspiration from Hollow Knight in some mechanics and visual elements, and it’s done really well! The boss designs are interesting and unique, making the experience even more satisfying. Excellent work!
Thank you! Yes, Hollow Knight was a big inspiration, I love that game :D
Really impressive work! The way you incorporated the spinning mechanic was super creative and felt really well-executed. It wasn’t just a gimmick—it was an integral part of the gameplay, which made it so fun and engaging. The whole game gives off such good vibes, from the art style to the music and overall feel. Would love to see this idea expanded further—amazing job!
