Hey thanks loving my game, this really made my day :D For the water btw, its just some simple circle colliders with Unity's rigidbody component on it, also a slippery physical material is applied on it. And when you have a lot of tiny slippery circles, they moves like water (just imagine throwing marbles in the sink). Also you gotta apply a shader to make it looks good. I also made those circles just float on the surface so that the amount of circles can be reduced (improving performance). Hope these can help ya :D

I really like the game but a boat keeps getting stuck on edge of the island and i lose all peeps before being able to hit it

Wow, hilariously fun game you’ve got here. I love the little derpy followers on the island, and the water physics to fight the ships is pretty fun to spam click. Really nice game loop with waves, upgrades and then back at it again.

I really liked how the water worked in your game, I literlly cant believe that the main character is actually the water itself! I would say this game is pretty creative and really polished. Very impressive for 9 days WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

One of the best games I've played this jam! Really liked the mechanics and liked the visuals too! Curious how you did the water. Is it a water simulation at the top? Also a feedback I have is have an upgrade that allows players to hold and attack. Seeing the comments, other players also spammed their mouse a lot.
Thanks for the feedback man :D, I used many tiny circles for the water with a rigidbody on it, adding a slippery physical material on it makes it feels like water. (Imagine throwing a bunch of marbles to the sink, the action of it resembles that of water) Then a shader is applied to make it feel pixelated. To improve performance i didnt use a lot of circles, I added a buoyancy component to the ocean so that the circles floats :D Im really happy you liked the game :D
