Neat take on the theme! Never thought about light or dark coffee with it. I like the choice of colors too, something soothing about it.

Great idea and pick on the theme! Not totally intuitive in the beginning, but you get use to it over time. Probably include a small tutorial next time :)
Good and interesting game! I got confused with the gameplay at the beginning so maybe a tutorial in game would be good for that. Overall a great game, good job!
Good game with a great concept! I like this style of gameplay, and it was well made. Good work!
Took me a while to get into because I don't drink coffee, but once I got the hang of it I had a lot of fun! The liquid graphics are very impressive, especially given the color palette restrictions. I'm glad you went with dithering instead of shading because the final result is perfect. Well done :D
this took me a second to get, but once i did i was hooked. such a cool interpretation of the theme and the aesthetic is amazing! what is your goat policy
Great submission - excellent use of the theme, and unique gameplay!
One suggestion: I kept getting tripped up navigating between the differently-sized buttons - it might make navigation easier if you could move the cursor in a circle clockwise or counter-clockwise (so you could navigate with just 2 buttons instead of 4).
Cool to see another Pico-8 entry!
First off, I love the sound design. Everything you do has a distinct and unique sound that rewards you for each press of the button, and they even feel as though they fit into the music which is equally fun to listen to. Second, the implementation of "Light and Dark" was very cute and outside the box. My only issues were
1. No in-game tutorial, I had to go through trial and error of figuring out the controls as well as understanding the game mechanic. After I finished the game I saw the tutorial in the description- you can't always rely on your player to go out of their way to read those things!
2. The "hourglass" coffee was confusing as the white sprite was different from what the actual coffee displayed, so again I had to learn through trial and error.
Other than those two things, I had a great time with your game. It was nice and challenging, even with a simple concept! Great job to you, this one definitely stands out!

Just realized, you are the roast master, I am the thrust master. Together, we are unstoppable. Interplanetary Cafe coming up next!
This truly made me feel like an overworked constantly stressed out barista! It's such a hard game to put down, and very unique in concept i just wanted to keep serving that coffee
Cool concept! Graphics are cool, especially the fluid effect. I wish the requests were a bit more varied though because I often got the same request multiple times in a row.
Congrats to fellow fantasy console developer!
I love the concept and the art & game! I'm impressed you did this in Pico8. I think the only challenge was that the UI & controls were a little hard to follow (a mouse would have been perfect, although I know that isn't really possible in pico8) and I think a bit longer of a timer would be helpful given that there isn't a mouse. I really enjoyed this and it's very inspiring!
